The world has been destroyed. Sooner than expected.

I stepped on a puddle of blood with my shoe.

A terrible scream erupted from somewhere.

In the middle of the street, a man in a police uniform was fighting the monsters and helping people escape.

I jumped out of my position and ran to the middle of the village. I saw a weapon shop whose glass door was broken.

I went into the store to avoid the people running away. And I came out with an axe, a weapon I could easily handle.

And I relentlessly hit the monster running this way.

The monster’s green blood spattered across my face.

This time, the monster next to him looked up. His face had four eyes the size of my fist.

The man who looked around, Eden, turned to me, mildly swearing.

‘Eden Duncan Lancaster’
