13 Like Child's Play

Yang Guifei decided to spend the rest of the day resting and cultivating in the soul world. She realised that she hadn't slept in a while so a nap was squeezed into her schedule for the day.

During her resting periods, she talked to little Feng. She asked for more information about the world outside. She knew everything about cultivating but..what about non cultivating stuff? Like occupations and such..

Little Feng explained the different kinds of professions one could accomplish. People who could cultivate used their cultivation as a foundation to develop into different skills. There were few skills one could expand to. Those fields were: beast taming, physicians, armament making, alchemy and restricting.

In the world of cultivators, there were more physicians than any other professions. Beast tamers were also popular. Armament masters and alchemists were rare and also hard to achieve skill-wise, but not completely impossible. Restriction masters were extremely rare. Only less than 5 of them had ever existed.

Although they had the least amount of users, those people were usually given low statuses. The restriction skill was considered one of the most powerful skills to have. It let one control another person or beast's cultivation, with the option to restrain it. In other words, it was like putting a seal on their soul, making them unable to cultivate anymore. It also let you control their free will and soul. You could restrict their free will and make them a hollow being, unable to have any consciousness.

This skill was extremely dangerous and threatening to others. Thus, those who even so desired to learn it, were killed in fear that they would become a danger to those around them. To those who did manage to learn such a skill wouldn't be able to completely master the skill as they were immediately put in locks and chains. They would be forced to serve under powerful clans as their slave, used as a weapon against masses...

Yang Guifei was impressed when hearing about restriction masters. It seemed like such a powerful skill to have..however, it didn't interest her to actually want to learn it. She had her own ways of restricting someone...

Listening though the different skills, Yang Guifei wasn't phased. They seemed easy to accomplish. She believed she was pretty good in the medical field. In her previous life, her father had forced her to study medicine and become a doctor.

However, she spend most of her skills making and researching poisons. She was also very well known for her use of poison in the yakuza, her most iconic creation being the red spider lily poison. An extremely lethal substance that caused one's skin and muscle to explode and their bones to twist and break upon immediate contact with the powder. The victims of the poison resembled the shape of the red spider lily flower, thus gaining its name.

Although Yang Guifei didn't get the chance to bring the poison with her when she crossed worlds. Nothing was stopping her from making more now..

Beast taming seemed alright. Using Little Feng's incredible aura, she could probably easily subdue any spirt beast. As long as they weren't in the same hierarchy group as him, then it would be fine.

Yang Guifei didn't use this on the bear like beast she fought back in the forest only because she wanted to test her skills in the new world.

Yang Guifei only heard the basic information about what alchemy and armament making was, and decided that they weren't worth her time. It seemed like child's play. Not many of these skills were any different to her previous world's job professions. It was basic blacksmithing and pill making, except applying different methods to gain the same results. Besides that, nothing else seemed different.

If people heard her thoughts right now, they would spit blood. Unsure if she was just too overly confident or if she was too naive to understand the hardships you had to go though...either way, it would be unpleasant to the ear.

Yang Guifei spent the rest of the day resting, cultivating or sleeping. She would be taking the academy acceptence test the next day, and she wanted to restore her stamina in case of anything 'eventful' happening..
