"Why is it so quiet? Where are Father, Mother, and Grandfather?"

The elders in the family had a habit of waking up early, thus Xi Xiaye found it odd to not see them at this time.

The man averted his gaze to her when he heard her voice. He put the papers away and waved his hand at her. "Christmas is coming soon, so they brought our son to go shopping. Grandfather went to see Elder Su, and they won't be home for lunch. Is Lingshi still asleep?"
