Everyone saw uneasiness on Lu Lan's face after her phone call.

"Xiao Lan, What happened?" Madam Si asked.

Lu Lan shook her head and smiled "Nothing, Mom. I have some work, so I have to go".

"Okay, you go and do your work. I will handle here" Madam Si assured her.

"Thanks, Mom".

Afterwards, Lu Lan went upstairs where Si Li and Mo Jinnan was standing.

"Do you want my help?" Si Li asked.

Lu Lan nodded "Yes, help me to take care of our guests".

Si Li came forwards and put his right hand on her left shoulder and softly said: "The person who betrayed us, will get punishment".

"Can I decide the punishment?"

Si Li's lips curved up "Of course".

Afterwards, Lu Lan and Mo Jinnan went to the study room and Si Li went to the downstairs to accompany their guests.

When Lu Lan saw Li Daiyu in her cabin, she understood what was Si Li trying to say to her? However, she didn't react at that time, because she wanted to confirm whether really Li Dauyi really had guts to betray Si Corporation or she was just over thinking.

As far another proposal, initially, Lu Lan had made a proposal in which amount for bid was less, because as per Lu Lan, if Si Corporation won this bid then its reputation would increase and it would secure more similar contracts in future. Her plan was for the long term.

However, board members rejected her proposal and in the absence of Si Li, she couldn't go against the board members. Board members were the investors in the Si Corporation, so their intention was to earn the profit as soon as possible.

Therefore, Lu Lan revised the proposal as per the board members.

When Mo Jinnan came for discussion in her cabin, then at that time she explained Mo Jinnan her original proposal as well along with the revised proposal.

Nevertheless, she submitted the revised proposal which was accepted by the board members, because she didn't know what Li Dauyi had planned. Whether the other party for which Li Dauyi was working i.e. Feng Corporation was going to submit the same proposal as Si Corporation or they were going to submit the proposal with the less bidding pricing as compared to Si Corporation.

However, now she knew that they had already submitted the same proposal as Si Corporation, so she could submit her original proposal and even she would get the approval of Si Li because his shares in the Si Corporation were more than the rest of the members, so there wouldn't be any problem.

Soon, Lu Lan discuss some matter related to proposal with Mo Jinnan and she personally went to submit the proposal.

Initially, Si Li wanted to accompany Lu Lan, but she rejected him and let him stay at home and tell him to take his medication and rest well.

As Lu Lan was not there, so Si Li personally went to see off their guests and then he made sure whether Little Champ had slept or not.

Thereafter, he went to sleep, because he knew if he didn't take care of himself, then he would indirectly increase the burden on Lu Lan, which he didn't want to.

By the time Lu Lan came back to the penthouse, it was 2 a.m in the morning.

After reaching, the first thing, she did, was checked on Si Li and Little Champ.

Lu Lan sighed a relief when she saw that Si Li was sleeping and he also took his medication as well. Then she showered and went to sleep.

Tomorrow, she didn't have the class of Professor Chen and the result of the contract would be announced at 3 p.m. So she didn't bother to wake up early in the morning.

It was already noon when Lu Lan woke up.

She got off from the bed and went to shower. When she reached to the downstairs, she saw that Si Li was reading some documents on the study table and sipping his tea.

Little Champ was already left for his classes.

Lu Lan went towards him and sit on his lap and gave a peck on his lips "Good Morning".

"Nervous," Si Li asked.

Lu Lan was startled when she heard him. Although, last night, she behaved bravely and even now she tried to compose herself calm. Nevertheless, nothing could be hidden from Si Li's eyes.

"Do you think, we will win that contract?" Lu Lan anxiously asked.

"Of course, you will win" Si Li replied as a matter of fact.

Lu Lan smiled at him "You surely knows how to lie well".

"We will see whether I am lying or not. Now go have breakfast. Afterwards, you have to go for the results as well" Si Li said.

"You are not coming with me?" Lu Lan asked.

"I will meet you in the office"

"Okay," Lu Lan understood why he was not coming with her.

Afterwards, Si Li and Lu Lan left for their work separately.
