Chapter 237 - Suspicious about her (Part-4)

"Hmm... There is some problem in the construction material for the north side of the city and the company who sends us this material is trying to play dirty. Thus, we have to go and let them know that they shouldn't offend the people from Country X. Now be quick and don't waste my time. And yes, make sure to get all the files regarding this matter." Mo Jiang roughly explained the things which calmed down her mind.

Otherwise, every now and then, she became worried pondering over what would happen if Mo Jiang knew about her.

Though Liu Juan wasn't worried about herself as she didn't value her life much, her life was linked with Liu Ruolan's life which she couldn't afford to take the risk for.

Besides, she still didn't get any information about Mo Jiang's business but he seemed to be formidable, in fact, far more formidable than her boss that sometimes, she was afraid of him which she was never before in front of anyone.

Liu Juan nodded and turned to leave his cabin but she immediately took a few steps back as soon as the person came right in front of her sight.

His black eyes seemed to be like a dark ocean that would scare one-off in the fear of drowning while his cold face was intimidating.

There was one more person who scared her more and that was this man, Si Li.

"I am sorry, I didn't mean to scare you." Si Li smiled slightly which scared her off more. 

However, Liu Juan wasn't someone who would shed tears and show her inner feelings so easily. If she did that, then she wouldn't have been standing on her feet now.

"It's alright." Liu Juan forced a smile and walked out.

"What are you doing here?" She heard Mo Jiang's voice and immediately she slowed down her speed of steps as this might be the opportunity which she was waiting for. Perhaps, Si Li was here to discuss something about their Underworld Business. And she was spot on with that assumption. He was here to discuss something important about Underworld Business. Dismally, Mo Jiang caught her trick.

"Miss Liu, It seems that you didn't understand my words." Suddenly, Mo Jiang's words were directed towards her.

"Yes, President Mo." Liu Juan immediately turned to look at him as she didn't understand what he was trying to say.

"Move fast, Miss Liu. You don't have much time and close the door while leaving." Mo Jiang, being a vigilant person, knew what was going on around him and he didn't miss out on the single details and with that, he again closed the opportunity door for Liu Juan.

Again, Liu Juan was out of Mo Jiang's office without getting anything. Nothing was more frustrating than this.

"Damn it!" Liu Juan could only curse inside her mind.

"What is she doing here?" Si Li asked as he recalled that the girl in front of him was the same girl for whom Mo Jiang asked to get information as she was the same girl who took his watch. However, later, Mo Jiang didn't need information about this girl because he got hold of this girl.

Si Li thought that Mo Jiang might want her to be his mistress or want her to be in his underworld team. Surprisingly to him, it was neither of the cases. She was just a secretary.

"She is my secretary. If she wouldn't be here, then where should she be?" Mo Jiang nonchalantly replied in similarity with Si Li's thoughts.

Nevertheless, Mo Jiang's intuition was right, there was indeed much more to know about Liu Juan. Indeed, Mo Jiang's men were very efficient to get information about her, though it took them some time.

Since Si Li and Mo Jiang were now partners, he knew most of the information about Mo Jiang's business but not all as they were part of Underworld Business and when they would become enemies, they didn't know.

And the information which Si Li didn't know also included information about Liu Juan that she was a part of the American Underworld and she was here to kill Mo Jiang.

Mo Jiang wasn't unknown from the fact that some people from American Underworld wanted to step into the European Underworld but he was blocking their path. Thus, they had been trying to do every single thing to send Mo Jiang to the gate of Hell.

But…

Alas!

Not only he didn't go to the gate of Hell but he was keeping down a lot of secret information that would vanish with him that they couldn't afford.

Thus, getting information was more important than killing him.

And they were waiting for the right time to get the information which seemed to never come, the same thing which Liu Juan felt right now outside.

That late-night, Mo Jiang and Liu Juan flew over to America without knowing that the coins had changed sides and now things wouldn't remain the same.

"Mr. Peter, President Mo from Country X is waiting for you." Mr. Peter's secretary, Rosy, informed her boss.

"Urgh...What do they want now? Didn't we send their material?" Mr. Peter was clearly displeased that the first agenda of the day was to meet someone from the lower country. The people from a lower country like Country X were bringing bad luck to him.

"Yes, Mr. Peter, we have already sent their material, but they have a problem with that material and regarding this issue, they want to meet you." Even Rosy wasn't happy to meet people like them.

Though she had already informed them that the material they had dispatched was the best quantity, and if they still had a problem with the material, it was their issue and not hers and her boss'.

Still, they didn't listen to her. As a result, she ignored them but who would have known, President Mo came here personally and demanded to meet Mr. Peter.

"Rosy, my darling. Do you want to upset my whole day?"

"Not at all, Sir."

"Then show your smartness and send them away instead of wasting my time." Mr. Peter walked away to his cabin while leaving the troublesome Mo Jiang, to his secretary.

"President Mo, Mr. Peter is busy today with some important work. He can't meet you today." Rosy informed Mo Jiang and Liu Juan while her eyes couldn't hide her disdain towards them.

"But we have already taken an appointment with him. How can he be busy with other work at this time?" Liu Juan angrily asked as she personally confirmed their appointment with Mr. Peter.

"So now Mr. Peter has to inform Miss...Whatever about this work every detail." Rosy was clearly unhappy that this lowly secretary was questioning her.

"You…." Liu Juan was about to get up to teach this lady a lesson but Mo Jiang stopped her.

"Ummm...What do you think you are doing? Mr. Peter is the CEO of this big company, of course, he has much more important work rather than meeting with us. Miss...Rosy, Right?"

"Yes." Rosy raised her head and smiled in arrogance.

"We are leaving now, sorry to bother you." Mo Jiang's expression was apologetic while his expression changed to stern when he faced Liu Juan. "Let's go now."
