Chapter 243 - Overbearing!

Far away from the chaos, there was an extra calmness.

"Boss….Boss…. There is bad news." Xin Chao's jittery self came with his sour face in front of his boss, who was enjoying his free time away from his stressful life.

They had got the information that Mo Jiang had abducted Liu Ruolan and Bo Xiao because of their stupidity and obviously, Mo Jiang would use those two fools to blackmail Liu Juan and interrogate her to receive all the information which she knew. 

Although Liu Juan never got involved in many things where people politicized the scheme to take down their boss from his position and take over his position, she knew many things that would bring harm to them once Mo Jiang got the information like the place where they deal drugs, guns, and other illegal goods, with whom they deal with and all other relevant information related to them.

That was why the man had decided to kill Liu Juan. Although he wanted to enjoy his fun time by making Liu Juan's life miserable as she dared to go against him, he needed to stop here by killing her, as the stupid girl had a weakness and that was Liu Ruolan because of whom Liu Juan would do anything, along with killing the other two fools.

Hence, the man couldn't take the risk but now it seemed like those men weren't able to kill Liu Ruolan and Bo Xiao, the two fools, let alone Liu Juan.

"... Mo Jiang has saved Liu Juan along with Liu Ruolan and Bo Xiao and it seemed like Liu Juan would join hands with Mo Jiang so now they..." Xin Chao completed the sentence as he trembled with fear.

There was no mission in which Xin Chao had failed but because of Liu Juan, he had failed not only once but twice. In one mission, he was beaten up so badly that he almost lost his life only because of Liu Juan's so-called freedom and again because of Liu Juan, he lost one more mission and Liu Juan successfully left with Mo Jiang.

His blood was boiling like lava that it could explode at any moment just by thinking about the fact that he had failed in front of a girl who always worked hard and practiced so that she could counter par with him.

Now it seemed that she had practiced so much that she was not only countering him but also defeating him.

'How shameful is that!' Xin Chao gritted his teeth thinking about his failure.

"So now they will come after me, right?" The man's eyes darkened upon hearing this information.

No one had dared to stand in front of him and whosoever had dared enough to do so, had long gone to hell. Now it seemed like Liu Juan would be the next one.

However, who would go to hell first? Liu Juan or he, himself?

"This is all I know about…" Liu Juan revealed all the information which she knew about her boss.

Liu Juan's expression was pale while she was looking fragile in a hospital gown with an IV tube attached to the backside of her hand with an armed supporter on her other hand.

Choi Sun and the old man, Xiao Tao, were standing in front of Liu Juan, noting down all the information which she was reciting while Mo Jiang was sitting on the couch with an unfathomable expression on his face.

"Are you sure you didn't miss out on any information?" Choi Sun asked sternly to which Liu Juan nodded.

"Where is my sister and Bo Xiao?" Liu Juan looked at Mo Jiang and asked after telling all the information which he wanted.

"Safe and sound" Mo Lingtan walked up in front of her bed, leaned on the front side to put his hand on the footboard of the bed.

However, Mo Jiang's reply made her narrow her eyes. Obviously, she still didn't have any trust in Mo Jiang, although she had agreed to work with him against her boss. However, this deal was the last deal of her life, whether it would be successful or not, it didn't much affect the matter of her death or perhaps...her new life.

"Don't worry. I am a man of my words. I won't betray you! But...I don't trust you so for the purpose of security, I would like to keep both of them with me." Mo Jiang was the first person who had raised questions about her integrity, 

As such, a quick retort came from her "I have never betrayed anyone!"

"Really?" Mo Jiang raised his eyebrows and looked at her interestingly as she had betrayed him. She was his secretary whose job was to assist him, not to work with him with an intention to kill him.

Liu Juan understood what he was referring to and eventually, she shut her mouth. When she met him for the first time, she was overbearing on him and even robbed him but as time passed, he was being overbearing to the point that now she couldn't rebut in front of him anymore.
