Chapter 274 - Treatment (Part-3)

Liu Juan came back to her room and immediately called Mo Jiang.

Mo Jiang was just parking his car when his phone vibrated. He walked towards Mo Corporation and asked concernedly "Hello? What happened? Are you alright?"

"She wants to know everything about my past." Liu Juan said in a depressed tone.

She meant Zhou Xuiye. Mo Jiang understood it and helplessly rubbed his forehead and said, "Of course, she wants to know about it. Otherwise, how will she help you?"

"But I can't tell her about my past." Liu Juan deadpanned.

"Why?"

"I never dare to recall my past. It was…" Liu Juan bit her lips and held back her tears.

Liu Juan never realized it but now she had started to show her weak side to Mo Jiang again and didn't hesitate to bother him regarding anything.

"Then don't recall it if you are not ready." Mo Jiang softly said.

"But I want to come back to you soon." Liu Juan wailed.

"Would you believe me if I tell you even I want to bring you back soon?"

"Really?" Liu Juan asked in disbelief.

"Of course, who wants to live alone in the big house but there are a few things that I can't force, right?"

"But…"

"Okay enough. I forbid you to meet Zhou Xuiye unless she comes to meet you. Don't force yourself so much." Mo Jiang interrupted her.

"How do you know I went to meet Zhou Xuiye? Did she tell you?" Liu Juan really doubted Zhou Xuiye would report him at such a speed.

Mo Jiang chuckled hearing her innocent question and he asked back, "Do you really think I would leave you there alone only on the basis of having trust in Zhou Xuiye?"

Liu Juan was startled upon hearing him. So he didn't leave her alone here. Thinking this, her heart eased a little bit.

After that, Liu Juan didn't go to Zhou Xuiye's office abruptly and didn't force herself either.

Nevertheless, the days turned into weeks and there was no process in Liu Juan but during this period, Liu Juan got to know about Mo Jiang and Zhou Xuiye's story. 

Mo Jiang and Zhou Xuiye studied in the same school and Zhou Xuiye liked Mo Jiang since then and was looking forward to her future with Mo Jiang but things didn't go as she wished.

Her family was also involved in the Underworld Business and because of that, her father died when she was fifteen.

Her mother loved her father dearly and on his death, she lost her mindset. Zhou Xuiye wanted to treat her mother but since their family was from the Underworld, the doctor who was treating her mother leaked their information to their enemies.

As a result, Zhou Xuiye lost her mother as well.

Because of that incident, Zhou Xuiye decided to study psychology especially to treat the families from the Underworld.

Also, after the death of Zhou Xuiye's father and mother, she fell out from the Zhou Family as she didn't want to lose her dear ones anymore.

But unexpectedly for her, during that period Mo Jiang decided to join the Underworld to save his brother even though he also hated the Underworld.

Since Mo Jiang had joined the Underworld Business, his death could come sooner than later and Zhou Xuiye knew she wouldn't be able to bear to see his death. 

Thus, Zhou Xuiye shoved her feelings for Mo Jiang deep in her heart and now, they were only good friends.

Hearing Zhou Xuiye's story, Liu Juan felt pity and relief at the same but after that, Liu Juan no longer treated Zhou Xuiye coldly and began quite friendly with her.

Zhou Xuiye didn't have any friends because of her profession. Seeing Liu Juan's friendly gesture, Zhou Xuiye also reciprocated back. As a result, they became friends soon.

Zhou Xuiye was the first person who became Liu Juan's friend. Hence, Liu Juan was quite happy about it.

However, Liu Juan's nightmare haunted her every night. Thus, Zhou Xuiye reluctantly prescribed some sleeping pills to her which became an excuse for Liu Juan not to speak about her past and relied on pills. 

Of course, she missed Mo Jiang dearly, thus, she called him often without considering whether he was busy or not.

Even Mo Jiang answered her every call as he believed that if he spoiled her, she would feel at ease and would then be ready to speak about her past.

However, things were happening contradictory to Mo Jiang and Zhou Xuiye's expectations.

Therefore, time had arrived where they had to take an extreme step.

"Are you sure that it will work?" Mo Jiang asked with doubt.

Zhou Xuiye was telling him about Liu Juan's situation on the phone call.

"We have been giving into Liu Juan's all demands and requirements in the hope that she would open up but this is not working so except this idea, I can't think of anything else. I know it will be tough for her but this is the only way to make her speak." Zhou Xuiye said.

"Okay, I will do as you say." Mo Jiang said and hung up.

Every night, he went back to Amora's Mansion. He felt lonely just the way he felt before Liu Juan came to stay with him. He really wanted her back soon but he couldn't force her.

However, now it seemed like he had to force her. He sighed helplessly and called Liu Juan.

"Jiang…" A cheery voice came in a second.

"I was about to call you." Liu Juan said with a smile. 

Therefore, thinking about it, Liu Juan felt that it was not bad to stay in this hospital.

"Why?" Mo Jiang asked.

Liu Juan frowned upon hearing his question. "What do you mean 'why? Do I need a reason to call you?" She looked at the garden down and asked without much thought.

"Yes and that's why I have called you now." Mo Jiang sternly said and continued further. "Liu Juan, when have you planned to speak about your past?"

Liu Juan's brows knitted hearing him. "I am not ready and you told me not to force myself." She immediately said.

"But now I want you to force yourself unless you have decided to stay at the hospital for the lifetime away from me."

"No, Jiang. It's not like that. I want to come back but…"

"But what? Enough of all your excuses." Mo Jiang coldly interrupted.
