Chapter 286 - I love you, Juan. Don't leave me, ever. (Part-3)

"Juan, you have woken up." Zhou Xuiye squealed. Mo Jiang was elated and immediately turned back towards Liu Juan upon hearing her words.

Zhou Xuiye immediately walked towards her but Mo Jiang continued to stand at his place.

A lot of emotions were bursting in his heart. Until a few minutes ago, he was worried to the bone at the thought that he would lose Liu Juan.

Only he knew how he had spent the last forty-six hours. 

He was having dinner with Mo Jinnan earlier, telling his brother how he wanted to hold his wedding with Liu Juan. 

Unexpectedly, a piece of grave news came right that moment about Liu Juan that her heart had stopped beating.

After a  lot of efforts by Zhou Xuiye, her heart started beating again but her condition was very serious as her pulse was very weak with an ultimatum that if she wouldn't wake up within forty-eight hours, there would be no chance of her waking up again ever.

In other words, she would be considered dead.

The guilt was eating him up. It was him who had sent her here. If he hadn't forced her to deal with her past, she wouldn't be in this situation.

If he hadn't been impatient with her, she wouldn't be in this state.

Zhou Xuiye wasn't in a good condition as well. After the death of her mother, she had never let anyone die in her hands.

Liu Juan was her only friend and now she was seeing her dying and that would be in her hands. 

Even though, somehow she brought Liu Juan back from the edge of death, she didn't have the confidence to continue treating Liu Juan further.

Neither, Mo Jiang would let Zhou Xuiye treat Liu Juan. How could a person lose consciousness during a psychology session?

This was absurd.

In the end, Zhou Xuiye called her teacher Dr. Frederick back from Europe.

Dr. Frederick also treated people in the European Underworld and Mo Jiang was a prominent person in the European Underworld along with Si Li.

Mo Jiang immediately ordered to bring Dr. Frederick to City B. Dr. Frederick came especially to treat Liu Juan and found that it wasn't Zhou Xuiye's fault in treatment. 

Liu Juan's past was like a deep stone stuck in her consciousness. Now that the stone was removed, her old wound reopened and the pain was so unbearable that her consciousness gave up. 

As a result, her heart stopped beating.

There was nothing much that Dr. Frederick could do now because Zhou Xuiye had already acted at the right time by giving Liu Juan AED despite being in a panicked state. 

However, Liu Juan's situation was not improving afterward. In fact, it was deteriorating continuously, drip by drip. As a result, Dr. Frederick had to give a time limit of forty-eight hours.

If Liu Juan didn't wake up within forty-eight hours, she would be called dead.

Now that she had finally woken up and was alive, Mo Jiang's heart eased for a moment. While at the same time, his heartbeat was pounding so hard that he didn't think further. He walked towards her and hugged her tightly.

"I love you, Juan. Don't leave me, ever." Mo Jiang said in a raspy voice.

Zhou Xuiye came towards Liu Juan to ask several questions but Liu Juan heard nothing. She was just staring at Mo Jiang who continued to stand there.

Liu Juan didn't remember her dream but she felt like she had heard his calling.

However, she had seen him standing there and he hadn't bothered to come towards her. She felt like it was her delusion and then the reality struck her that Mo Jiang didn't love her like she did.

However, that happened only for a fraction of seconds because in the next moment, he strode towards her and said the words which she had never imagined.

All of a sudden, Liu Juan felt that her world had stopped. Her heart skipped a beat upon hearing his confession.

She didn't want to think that he was confessing because he pitied her. She didn't want to think it was a lie. 

Liu Juan was ready to accept this lie as a reality but then something happened that Mo Jiang's feelings didn't remain as a lie.

Mo Jiang didn't wait for Liu Juan's reply and kissed her.

Liu Juan's eyes widened at this sudden kiss. Her gaze met his, where she found nothing but just love for her.

Mo Jiang closed his eyes and so did Liu Juan and both of them immersed in their moment of love, disregarding their surroundings.

It wasn't the first kiss but it looked like one. Mo Jiang licked her lips like he was eating raspberries which he hadn't tasted before in his life.

Mo Jiang c.a.r.e.s.sed every part of her lips and then his tongue entered her small mouth.

His tongue touched hers and they both felt like they were electrocuted. Whereas, Liu Juan's mind turned black where she didn't know how to respond to his advanced level of passion.

Her body was already weak and with this kiss, her senses had lost direction and so did her energy. But she didn't want this precious moment to stop.

So she leaned weakly on his body and Mo Jiang tightly secured her in his embrace.

At one point, she felt hurt because her feelings for Mo Jiang hadn't faded yet. Moreover, seeing him being intimate with another girl, it was only right for her to feel pain.

She wanted to leave but her legs didn't move as if they had lost their senses. Thus, she looked in another direction.

Fortunately for Zhou Xuiye and unfortunately for Mo Jiang and Liu Juan, their kiss stopped because...
