Chapter 293 - Good News(Part-1)

It would be a lie to say that Liu Juan wasn't afraid of pain but the pain she was expecting, never came.

Mo Jiang was so gentle and patient with her that she flew in the p.l.e.a.s.u.r.e he had given to her.

She had never experienced something like that. She felt so good. Soon the night passed and a bright morning greeted the couple and their life.

After marriage, Mo Jiang and Liu Juan's life changed completely. 

Liu Juan turned into a cheerful woman. Her smile didn't leave her face. Perhaps, it was her true nature which she had been hiding until now.

Whereas, Mo Jiang also started to live a relaxed life.

What else they wanted?

They had faced only hardsh.i.p.s in her life till now. Now, they just wanted to live a relaxed, simple life and rely on each other.

Because, nowadays, she does only one thing, which was to laze around.

She was completely reliant on Mo Jiang.

All the work was done by Mo Jiang.  From cooking to warming their bed at night, everything was shouldered by Mo Jiang.. 

On some days when Liu Juan became extremely lazy, she needed Mo Jiang to give her a bath also.

The words of being a 'good wife' were strange to her and seemed like it would be like that, forever.

Not that Mo Jiang minded it.

Her smile and cute pout melted his heart. His tiredness washed out completely and he couldn't control himself and took her in his arms. Then what?

Their vigorous exercise started.

Liu Juan didn't mind it. In fact, she liked it so much that the couple didn't sleep without doing anything unless Liu Juan's relative was there.

Mo Jiang didn't want to relax those few days as well but Liu Juan was very embarrassed to have a blood war. So she denied it.

Mo Jiang never did anything against her will. So he could let her go for a few days.

Months passed by in a blink of an eye and Liu Juan didn't notice that her relative was regular in the first three months after their marriage but from the fourth month, it didn't come.

But this thing didn't go unnoticed by Mo Jiang.

His heart skipped a beat thinking about the possibility…

He immediately booked an appointment with a doctor and left from work earlier with her.

"Are you taking me to a candlelight dinner?" Liu Juan asked excitedly as the couple walked out of the Mo Corporation.

Mo Jiang brought Liu Juan every day to Mo Corporation to be his personal assistant. She did some paperwork for him while the rest of the time, she gave company to him.

Therefore, everyone now knew that she was Mrs. Mo. 

All the employees bowed to them as they passed by. "Master, Missus."

"Tell me, na!" Liu Juan insisted as they sat inside the car.

"Fasten your belt."

"No! First, tell me!" Liu Juan pouted.

Sighing, Mo Jiang moved to stretch the belt and fastened it for her while he said. "We are going to meet a doctor."

"Doctor? Why?" Liu Juan immediately grew tense.

She was completely alright so why did they need to meet the doctor?

Mo Jiang shot a helpless look at her. "Didn't you notice your relative didn't come last month?" He asked.

"My relative." Liu Juan murmured in confusion.

"Do I have some problem?" Liu Juan asked worriedly in the next moment.

"Tell me. Is this some problem with my health? Am I going to die?" The more she thought, the more she became worried.

Her life had changed only because of this man.

Now, she didn't want to end this life. Never ever.

"Can't you think of something positive?" Mo Jiang shot her an unhappy glaze and continued. "But yeah. You are right. We might have some problems."

"What kind of problem?" Liu Juan asked, ignored the word 'we'

"What do you think?" Mo Jiang asked back teasingly.

To which she neither had an answer nor did she notice his teasing glance.

Initially, she was excited to think about what tasty dishes she would eat but now…

"You are such a dumbo. I am wondering how you survived all these years?" Mo Jiang asked, seeing her worried state.

Were women not s.e.n.s.i.t.i.v.e about their periods?

But Liu Juan was always different.

Other women were worried about gaining weight, for not looking beautiful and for not being useful for their husbands.

But Liu Juan didn't bother about these things. If she gained weight, so what? 

She would still look beautiful.

She knew it.

She was just too relaxed in her life.

Mo Jiang liked this fact about her.

Nevertheless, there was a single worry in her life that someday, life would take away Mo Jiang from her.

Usually, Liu Juan always retorted against his criticism but now, her hands had turned so cold, her breath turned shallow, and her body turned feeble that she was not able to hold herself, let alone to retort to him.

All of sudden, she started feeling sick.

Nothing went unnoticed from Mo Jiang's sight.

He stopped the car at the roadside. He unfastened her belt and pulled her to sit on his l.a.p.

Instantly, her eyes turned red and a drop of tear rolled down.

"My...My… aren't you usually confident? What happened to you now, hmm?" Mo Jiang's gaze turned gentle and his heartache seeing tears in her eyes. It seemed like his teasing went too far.

"Am I going to die?" Liu Juan asked, sniffling continuously.

"Dumbo, if you would die, who is going to give birth to our baby?" 

"Baby?" Liu Juan puzzledly looked at him.

"Hmm...Now you understand why your periods have been missing?"

Instantly, Liu Juan's eyes widened in shock. She didn't think about it. She just thought that there was some problem with her and she was going to die. After all, life had never been merciful on her.

The last five months were like paradise to her but no one knew until when this paradise would remain in her life.

But, she was wrong this time.

Life didn't seem to be so cruel to her now.

She gazed at her flat belly and looked up at Mo Jiang who was smiling tenderly at her. 

"Are you sure?" Liu Juan asked hesitatingly.

"Let's go to the doctor to confirm it, shall we?" Mo Jiang asked to which Liu Juan nodded.

She sat back on her seat and they drove off towards the hospital.
