Chapter 301 - Meet again (Part-1)

Eighteen Months Later.

The Mo Family's time passed in a blink of an eye. Little Champ was about to turn two years old in two months' time.

These past months were joyful for the Mo Family. Mo Jiang and Liu Juan had a relaxed and happy life with Little Champ.

Mo Jinnan finally found a girl, Song Tianxin. She came from ordinary family background and worked in the Si Corporation.

After having many interactions, they knew that they liked each other but no one had confessed yet. 

Mo Jinnan was planning to make his confession so grand that if Song Tianxin wanted to reject him, she could not.

Mo Jun was now old. He had given all the responsibility to his sons. He had nothing to do now. In the old ages, many past memories crept up to give him nothing but pain.

The mistake he had made could not be forgotten or forgiven so easily. 

There were many times when he had dreamt of Mother Mo. She was kind, caring and had sacrificed a lot for him such that when the time came to give her life, she did not even hesitate for a second.

Now loneliness was eating him up.

Fortunately, Mo Jiang had married Liu Juan and they had given birth to Little Champ. 

Mo Jun was not happy with Liu Juan because she was no one without Mo Jiang, let alone to help Mo Jiang in his business. But the arrival of Little Champ in their life took away this complaint of his.

Now every other day Mo Jun came to Juan's Villa to play with his grandson.

The past was like a line formed on the rock. It could not be removed. 

So how could Mo Jiang forgive Mo Jun?

But for the sake of the happiness and peace in his family, Mo Jiang did not create a big scene with Mo Jun and let him play with Little Champ under Liu Juan's presence.

However, he never allowed Mo Jun to take his son out alone.

Mo Jun was angry with this behavior of Mo Jiang but he knew why his son was behaving like this. So he satisfied himself by playing with Little Champ in Juan's Villa only.

Whereas, Little Champ was the little king of everyone's heart. There was no one in the Mo and Si family as well who did not love him.

Not only was Little Champ cute, but he was smart also.

Unlike other children, he learned very fast. He wasn't two but he could speak many words properly and understand people's words completely.

Because of that, he was dearest to his mama such that even Mo Jiang felt jealous. Mo Jiang's position in Liu Juan's heart had moved down after Little Champ's birth.

Whereas regarding Mo Jiang…

He did not have words to stay in front of his wife's obsession with their son.

This unfairness did not stop here. Mo Jiang did not only have to work hard to earn a luxurious life for his wife and child but he also had to cook for them every day.

Mo Jiang's life was tough and he could not complain.

Even if he wanted to, there was no one to hear him out.

After all, Si Li had set his eyes on an employee as well.

"Listen...Little Champ's birthday is coming up. I am planning to hold a big party for him. What do you think?" Liu Juan proposed the idea. 

"Hmm...Do what you want." Mo Jiang replied nonchalantly.

It was their personal time and he didn't like to talk about Little Champ now.

"You don't seem to be too happy about it." Liu Juan complained.

"What is there to be happy? It is just a birthday, it comes every year." Mo Jiang explained with a frown etched on his face.

"It comes only once a year and it is just a birthday? It is Little Champ's birthday! We have only one son, we won't have another. Can't you show some love to our ONLY son?" Liu Juan said angrily.

The second child would cost her life so without informing her, Mo Jiang did vasectomy surgery.

When she learned about it, it was too late.

After that, she had no words for him.

"When did I not show my love for him? He has already taken my place in your life but I still love him. He is my son after all!" Mo Jiang said annoyingly. He walked back to the wardrobe to get his coat.

Liu Juan, being an observant wife, sensed her husband's unhappiness and quickly walked behind him.

She took his coat and helped him to put it on as she coaxed him. "Alright, I am sorry. But you know whenever things come to Little Champ, I have become a little s.e.n.s.i.t.i.v.e. Now come on, don't be angry."

Liu Juan affectionately put her arms around his shoulder and kissed him.

Instantly his anger waved off. He pulled her close to have a passionate moment. It was not every day that his dear wife would take initiative.

But before, things would go out of control...

She stopped him. "Stop….Stop...Don't you want to go to the office?"

"I am the boss, I can go late." Mo Jiang did not want this precious moment to stop.

"No! You have to go early and have to come early." Liu Juan said while she pushed him away.

"Why? Do you miss me, hmm?" Mo Jiang said as he tried to flirt with her all the not budging away from her.

"Miss you? Don't we live together every day? What is there to miss?"

"I didn't seem to hear you saying this to Little Champ?" Mo Jiang complained in an envious tone.

"Are you going to compare yourself to him now? Alright. Don't change the topic. Come home early. We have to go shopping." Liu Juan informed him.

"Shopping?" Immediately Mo Jiang's mood dropped into the dumps.

"What is with this look of yours?" Liu Juan asked as she didn't like the air he was putting on..

"Did we not go shopping last week?" Mo Jiang asked, obviously upset at the plans his wife was concocting. He never hated shopping before.

But since Little Champ was born, Liu Juan made Mo Jiang a bodyguard whose job was to do nothing but carrying bags.

She should give importance to him at least.

But no!

"Are you counting my shopping trips now? How petty!" Liu Juan shot him a disdainful look.

"No-" Again Mo Jiang was feeling helpless. He wanted to explain but he did not get a chance.

"No? Do you think I am a fool? I have been noticing that you don't like to spend time with me now like you used to." Liu Juan accused him.

Don't like to spend time with her?

Of course, he wanted to but she didn't have time for him.

He really wanted to say it but…

"Mama---" The ajar door opened. A little boy, wearing Pikachu pajamas, was standing near the door. His innocent eyes were like Mo Jiang while his facial features were similar to Liu Juan.

The couple turned quiet. There was an unspoken rule between them that they would never argue in front of Little Champ.

Mo Jiang walked towards him and held him up in his arms. "Hmm...You woke up early today...Did you brush your teeth?" He asked gently as the father and son pair walked downstairs.

"Yes!" Little Champ replied in a sweet voice.

There were many little things for which Mo Jiang wanted to make Little Champ independent like brushing up teeth in the morning.

Since Mo Jiang took a decision for our son, Liu Juan never argued back against it.

The couple had a very good understanding between them but sometimes, the couple still argued over little matters, just like the one a little while ago. 

But their argument did not last for more than one minute just like now. Liu Juan sighed and took Mo Jiang's office bag and followed after the father-son pair. 

"Good. Father will come back soon and take you and your mama to the mall to play, okay?" Mo Jiang said but his words were more for Liu Juan.

To which she rolled her eyes at him.

Mo Jiang just smiled helplessly. He knew he could not win against her ever.

"Yes!" Little Champ was also excited to go out with his parents.

After that, Mo Jiang went to the office and in the evening, the family of three went shopping at the mall, without worrying about what danger was coming towards them, especially Liu Juan.
