Chapter 303 - Scary love (Part-1)

Liu Juan stared at him for a while after hearing him. She wanted to tell him but Liu Ruolan's scared face flashed in front of her.

She remembered that after Markus ran away, Mo Jiang had suggested for her to live with him and she had agreed to him on a request that he would let Liu Ruolan and Bo Xiao go alive.

He had also agreed to it.

But now one question rose up in her mind. Did he do something to Liu Ruolan behind her back?

Liu Juan needed to meet Liu Ruolan again to know what exactly had happened to her.

"Nothing." Liu Juan said but it was not convincing to Mo Jiang.

He put her on the bed to go to bring her clothes. She let him help her  wear it when she heard him say, "You are hiding something from me."

He did not like the fact that she was hiding something from him. She was like an open book to him but now there were some pages he could not read.

Liu Juan saw his irritated face and thought for a moment before asking. "Can I ask you a question?"

"Of course." Mo Jiang promptly replied.

"Have you hidden something from me?" Liu Juan asked which stunned Mo Jiang for a moment.

What kind of question was that?

Of course, he had.

That was what Mo Jiang replied. "Yes."

"What?" Liu Juan asked intriguingly.

Mo Jiang held her face and replied. "You don't need to know it, my love."

"You don't trust me, do you?" Liu Juan asked angrily and slapped his hands away.

Mo Jiang laughed and said, "Of course, I trust you. I trust you more than myself. Just remember that whatever I hid from you is because I want you and our son to be safe. I can't live without both of you, Juan."

Mo Jiang's words immediately made her guilty. 

Did she not know that he was a part of an underworld business and he always made her and their son stay away from it?

Mo Jiang was just fulfilling the promise he had given her of providing her and their son a normal life.

So obviously, there were many things he did not share with her and held the burden alone. 

But seeing Liu Ruolan in such a poor state, Liu Juan questioned Mo Jiang.

No matter what, Liu Ruolan was her biological sister so she could not sever her ties with Liu Ruolan.

Neither she wanted to lose him as well.

"I am sorry. I just feel that I don't know about many things so ...I am sorry." Liu Juan did not exactly continue what was in her mind and apologized but she still hoped that he would tell her about what he had done to Liu Ruolan.

But knowing him, he would not tell her. Therefore, she needed to find Liu Ruolan and ask her.

"If you are really sorry, why don't you make it up to me?" Mo Jiang asked in hidden meaning.

"Make it up to you?" Liu Juan was confused for a moment as she did not understand what he meant by that until she saw how close Mo Jiang was to her.

"You." Liu Juan pushed him away as her face blushed. "Did we not do it the day before yesterday?"

"Did you not eat dinner yesterday and even today? Did I say something?"

"You...You are counting my food now!" Liu Juan pushed him away angrily.

"No! I am just worried that if we do not exercise properly, you will gain weight and complain to me later. I can't be irresponsible. So I need to work hard."

"Work hard, you a.s.s. Ah! Don't touch me here."

"Then where should I touch you, hmm?" Mo Jiang asked seductively.

The couple slept later after a few rounds of vigorous exercise.

Liu Juan was sure that Liu Ruolan worked there. But when she went to ask the management about Liu Ruolan, they said no cleaner under the name Liu Ruolan worked in their mall.

How was it possible?

She had seen Liu Ruolan in a cleaner uniform.

Was she hallucinating?

Impossible!

Perhaps, Liu Ruolan worked here under a different name.

Liu Juan decided to look for Liu Ruolan personally. She straight away went to the same restroom where she met Liu Ruolan yesterday.

Liu Ruolan was not there.

Liu Juan checked every restroom of the mall but Liu Ruolan was nowhere.

"What are you doing? Why didn't you meet her? We need her. Have you forgotten it?" Bo Xiao asked when he saw how desperately Liu Juan was looking for Liu Ruolan.

Whereas, Liu Ruolan did nothing but watch Liu Juan run around.

Many emotions were flashing in her eyes. One could not understand what she was thinking and feeling.

But hearing Bo Xiao, she smiled and turned back to walk away.

"Don't worry, I know what I am doing." Liu Ruolan said and her figure receded.

Bo Xiao gritted his teeth. He was so close in getting Liu Juan under his grip but this Liu Ruolan.

He chased after her and asked in a demanding voice. "What do you mean? Answer me properly."

He held her arms to stop her.

"So desperate to get her back. Tch, Tch, Tch..." Liu Ruolan sneered.

Her words immediately made him realize that his emotions had overwhelmed him so much that he was going to make a big mistake.

He closed his eyes to control himself and said calmly. "I am just worried that if we don't give Liu Juan to our boss soon, he will begin doubting us and we won't get a chance to return back to our life, just like we were previously."

After leaving behind Liu Ruolan, Bo Xiao did not have an easy life either. It was like starting again. Moreover, it wasn't America. It was Country X where Mo Jiang and Si Li ruled.

Besides, he needed to find Liu Juan. It would be a scenario that Mo Jiang still held her up because Markus was still alive.

Bo Xiao did not know.

But he needed to find her and for that, he needed to build his gang.

Unfortunately, even small gangs in Country X were ruled by Mo Jiang and Si Li. So how could Bo Xiao go against them so easily?

Until a day came when Liu Ruolan found him and told him about Liu Juan's new life.

Bo Xiao had no words after that. 

Even though life was not good for him now, he was once a young master where no one could afford to offend him.

Here Liu Juan not only offended him but also hurt his ego.

If she had agreed to be with him, their life would have been better, much better than her current life.

But she chose Mo Jiang over Bo Xiao.

How could she?

Bo Xiao decided to bring her back into his life and let her know what consequences would befall her when she dared to end up on the bad side of his.

Then here came the twist.

Markus was very much alive and on top of that, he was in Country X.

He wanted Liu Juan back and to kill  Mo Jiang. Now he was giving a chance to Bo Xiao and Liu Ruolan to do this work. Once they got this job done, he would forgive them and give them a chance to get back to the life they lived once upon a time.

Liu Ruolan stood in front of Bo Xiao with Markus' proposal.

Bo Xiao agreed in an instant.

Markus wanted Liu Juan. Sure he could get her and then he would watch her beg for his help.

Unfortunately, Bo Xiao could not contain his anger anymore once he saw Liu Jaun was the same. Naive and innocent.

He did not have the heart to give her to Markus.

He wanted her for himself.

The girl he loved.

But Markus would give her to him. 

Of course not!

That was why Bo Xiao decided to go against Markus once again behind his back just to take Liu Ruolan's help to get Liu Juan back.

Therefore, Bo Xiao needed to pretend that he was on Markus's side.

Liu Ruolan smiled as she stepped forward and ran her finger on his face seductively. "Don't worry, darling, we will get my lovely sister back but don't forget she has Mo Jiang. We also need to deal with him, remember?"

Mo Jiang.

He was the one who took  Liu Juan away from him.

How could Bo Xiao forget about him?

Bo Xiao could not wait to kill him.
