160 "I will adopt her. Tell Bo Xiao to take care of her."

The force of the slap was too much for a child of six years. A normal child would have bowled out his eyes. However, Liu Juan stood stubbornly without making any fuss, Her eyes turned red because of the sharp pain of slap, but she refused to cry making her lips tremble.

One of the children saw that person from the management slapped Liu Juan for beating them, so he took the opportunity to teach Liu Juan a lesson.

"Mr Yang, did you see? How did she beat us? She and her sister are always bullying us." One of the children cried out.

When Mr Yang heard the child's grievance, his face turned grim with a dark expression. These children were abandoned by society. They should be thankful for the orphanage for giving them shelter. However, now instead of being grateful, they were causing fuss here.

Today, he would teach this ungrateful brat a lesson.

Liu Juan lowered her eyes and was ready to accept punishment as long as her big sister was not affected. However, this damn child was now dragging her big sister in this, when her big sister was completely innocent.

However, a stern voice came from behind and stopped him.

Mr Yang turned back and started shivering when he saw the person who was in front of him. Even the child, who was pretending to cry and being pitiful in front of Mr Yang, didn't dare to make a sound.

Liu Juan was confused to see both of them. She slightly popped her head to the right to see the person who had saved her just now from Mr Yang's warth.

She saw a man aged forty having a stern like cold face, his hair was white, there were a few thick gold chains on his neck. He was wearing a black suit, a few buttons of his shirt were unbuttoned. One of his hands was in his pocket while the other hand was holding a thick cigar.

The bunch of bodyguards were standing in the semi-circle around him. They were having a muscular body and their faces were expressionless.

All the children, who were lying on the ground and groaning in pain, instantly stood up despite every part of their body was in pain. But they didn't dare to raise their voice.

The man ignored all the children and straightaway went to Liu Juan.

"Why didn't you raise your voice in front of Mr Yang and inform him that all the children bullied you first?" The man asked.

The man's voice was neither soft which could win the heart of Liu Juan that he was a good man, nor stern and cold which could scare her.

Liu Juan knew this man, He was the person who had established this orphanage. He usually came here with a bunch of bodyguards who surrounded around him just like today.

She didn't know the reason why all the children were so scared of this man. He had not harmed them or perhaps, she did not know about his cruelty.

Since all the children were scared of him, there was no reason for Liu Juan to trust him and tell him the reason behind her silence.

If she told him that she was taking the blame of this fight only because she wanted to save her big sister from the management's punishment, who knew that he wouldn't punish her big sister?

Liu Juan pressed her lips in a thin line and didn't utter a word. She was just staring him with her red eyes in which no fear was seen.

The man was standing on the rooftop of the building and he had seen how a bunch of children came and started bullying her. Although, he wasn't able to hear what these children said to hee, it was in reflection of that she beat them. He knew that children had triggered some sensitive part of her feelings which they shouldn't have.

The man wanted to know the reason why did she suddenly start beating them when initially she was silently enduring their bully?

Sadly, Liu Juan didn't show the interest to speak.

However, Liu Juan didn't know her tiny sacrifice for her big sister would take her away from her only relative i.e her big sister

"I will adopt her. Tell Bo Xiao to take care of her." The man nonchalantly said and left.
