167 "Open your eyes."

It was a sunny day, the sun was spreading its bright light to the people of City Z generously. The flowers were blooming and its sweet fragrance spread across the area.

The people of City Z were very happy with the lively atmosphere around them. It was the weekend and they left their homes to live their life to the fullest outside.

In contrast, the atmosphere here was stiff as usual. The people here doing their work nonchalantly. It was as if life was a burden on them which they had to bear it.

This stiff atmosphere made Liu Ruolan to remain asleep. Since that day, when Liu Ruolan had passed out, she still didn't wake up. It was as if she didn't want to wake up.

Her mind wanted her to remain asleep, so that she wouldn't require to see the dark heart of the people and the cruelty of the world.

However, her body didn't want to give up so easily. Her body was still young. It wanted to live to the fullest like the people of the City Z, so why would it give up?

There was a struggle going on between mind and body. One wanted to give up everything because it had suffered bad things, while other still wanted to live despite having suffered so badly in a hope that one day her happiness would override her suffering.

With persistence and strong determination, finally the body won.

In the end, Liu Ruolan was compelled to wake up. When she opened her eyes, she saw that her surroundings were different again. She saw that this time, she was in a spacious room. The colour of the room was black and grey, but the furniture in the room was lavish. However, the overall look of the room was dull and gloomy.

She didn't know where she was, how long she had slept and what kind of bad thing would be like to happen with her this time.

She was just staring at the ceiling while her mind was blank. The only thought, she had was - why did Liu Juan not come to save her?

Did she run away leaving her alone?

Didn't she say that she would come to help her? So where was she now?

Liu Ruolan looked at the door and saw a woman walk in the room, she was wearing white shirt. She looked like a nurse.

"Ohh… you finally wake up. I will go and tell Master Bo…" The nurse said excitedly and immediately ran outside the room without noticing that Liu Ruolan was saying something in a hoarse voice.

Liu Ruolan wanted water but the nurse didn't hear her.

She thought that perhaps this time they would starve her to death. Her eyes became watery, as tears roll down from the corner of her eyes.She closed her eyes and wanted to go back to sleep, this time forever.

However, before she could go back to the deep sleep, she again heard the sound of door opening.

She heard footsteps coming towards her. Her body became stiff. With each step coming closer towards her, an unknown fear bubbled up within her. Now, her determination to go back to sleep increased once again.

If someone looked at her now, they would think she had gone into the coma again.

However, she heard a stern voice.
