Slowly Ullr entered deeper parts of this floor when he suddenly heard a new clicking sound. Out of reflex, he jumped forward only to hear a splashing sound of a gooey liquid on the ground. He turned around and saw a white goo that was fuming with a slightly greenish vapor. Ullr guessed that the liquid was poisonous but he was still surprised when a rat-bot that tried to run to him got stuck on the liquid like it was some kind of glue.

But Ullr didn't have much time to think about his discovery because a metal stinger suddenly impaled the rat-bot!

Ullr now saw how a big scorpion-like robot slowly made its way into his direction so Ullr quickly grabbed a shield and once again took a step back.

Ullr knew that this would be a hard fight when he looked at the sharp pincers and the deadly stinger with the poisonous glue.

First Ullr had to find out the range of his enemy and how fast it could move.

Even though it was dangerous he slowly moved forward when suddenly the Scorpion sprayed another load of adhesive at him which he barely evaded with another leap, but just as he was recovering his balance after this leap a pincer move forward and attacked him. Ullr only just managed to get his shield between himself and the pincer which resulted in a heavily damaged shield but he wasn't hurt. He once again retreated some steps back and looked at his shield, the pincer did cut through it like a hot knife through butter which resulted in a big gash over the whole length of the shield but it was still usable.

Ullr now had some ideas about the capabilities of his enemy and formulated a plan. Afterward, he ran in the direction of the scorpion waiting for the right moment. As he was running the scorpion once again tried to hit Ullr with the glue, but he was expecting it and catches most of the glue with his damaged shield while evading the rest.

Ullr still was getting nearer to the scorpion waiting for the next attack. Once again a metal pincer was moving towards him and again he let it cut his shield, but this the collected glue was smeared onto the pincer which wasn't able to open anymore after that.

Ullr quickly chopped the stinger off with his ax that he used as a melee weapon and jumped away after that.

Ullr knew that he had won this fight when suddenly the scorpion turned around and ran away, he followed it with several meters distance between them until Ullr heard a crunching sound after the scorpion went around a corner. Ullr slowed down and looked around the corner...

...and there he saw it, the boss of this floor. Something that would fuel many nightmares for people with arachnophobia, a giant metal spider munching on remains that looked liked they belonged to the scorpion Ullr was following. But that was not all when Ullr looked around he saw several corpses of rat-bots and scorpions lying around that were half-eaten.

Ullr guessed that he was standing before Mechxia when he heard a thumping sound for which he couldn't find the source. Ullr once again looked around the room and noticed some strange round balls lying around but he thought that they must have been part of the scorpions. Ullr ignored them until he suddenly heard some quiet metal noises from behind, he turned around and saw how several small spiders crawled out of one of those strange balls. Ullr wanted to curse but he suddenly was impaled from behind by a big sharp metal spider leg from mechxia herself which ended his life...

...Scrappy felt bad, he was done with punishing this fire-lizard that dared to melt his beautiful scrap. It hurt Scrappy so bad when he looked at the bucket which was still filled with the liquid remains of his scrap treasures when he suddenly had an idea. Scrappy quickly carved some rectangular holes into the ground, picked up his bucket and poured the liquid metal into the holes he carved out.

While his makeshift scrap ingots were cooling down, Scrappy happily gathered the scrap collection of the fire-lizard meanie. Scrappy even collected several scale which he ripped out of the corpse of this fire lizard.

Afterward Scrappy looked at the ingots which cooled down enough so that he could collect them. They developed a strange color and texture, they shined in different variations of brown like darker or brighter copper were some parts looked like it had age rings like a tree while other parts had spots that sparkled like diamonds. Scrappy quickly threw inside his bucket and waited for the blizzard to subside...
