The two of them look each other in silence, its awkward moment where the two of them subconsciously chuckles for how they behaved, Ming Yue Yin, look down as he laughs lightly the sound of her laughter as clear and crisp as a sound of a small bell, Yuan Shao heart turn to mush and he also laughs while covering his mouth with his fist.

It took a while for her to calm herself, Yuan Shao smiles getting wider as he walks closer toward her "I….I'm glad you are not sleeping yet" he doesn't know why he becomes nervous but he never nervous before not even when he faces thousand enemy soldier with only five hundreds soldiers on his sides.

"You know I sleep late…" Ming Yue Yin shrugged her shoulder.

"I know…" he nods and he becomes silent again, he struggles to find the words to explain himself.

"You going to leave tonight?" she starts the conversation.

"Yes…" he replied shortly.

"You talk with Xue An yet?" she asked.

"I have, she understand….she will be saved with Hei Shen people," he said in certain if not he will never dare to leave Yuan Xue An.

"What about you? Will you be safe?" she tilted her head her beautiful phoenix eyes brimmed with worries and sadness for she knows she might not able to see him again.

He mum because the place he about to go is the last place you could be safe but is a big opportunity he needs if he can make it through "I'll be fine you don't have to worry"

"Who said I'm worried…" she refused to admit it and so she pursed her lips as if she was wronged.

Yuan Shao amused by her stubbornness "Okay, coincidently you don't need to…" he raised his eyebrows while grinned at her.

She knew he teasing her and her frown get deepen but for some reason, her heart thumping loudly and her cheek feel hot for some reason she did not dare to look him in the eyes. Yuan Shao suddenly holds her shoulders as he lowers his head and they stare at each other at the same lines.

"I need to go somewhere if I succeed I will become the man you need me to be or the man I wish I could be to stand with you…" he said in a gentle voice.

"I…I don't understand…" Ming Yue Yin feel dumbstruck as she felt all her blood running through her head.

"As an empress, you cannot marry just anyone and especially not with the exiled general like me," he said slowly but firm, hoping she will understand what he' about to say.

"Wait, what do you mean…why you said as if we are…I mean, we only knew each other in a short time" Ming Yue Yin words jumble together, her face blush heavily when she hears his words, she thought he was joking with her but when his dark eyes penetrated to her heart she knows he is serious.

"So what? The first time I knew you you blew my mind I have nothing but admiration for you the second time we met I attracted to you and the more I know about you the deeper my feeling become before I realize I already can't imagine my life without and so I begging you as a man…" he reach her hand and hold her hands tightly "Give me three years, after three years I will back for you and marry you!"

Ming Yue Yin could feel an imaginary bomb exploded on the top of her head, the buzzing sounds ringing on her ears, her eyes wide open and she unable to say a word. Yuan Shao feel anxious when he saw her froze, he doesn't understand is that because she's too happy or too scared, just like Ming Yue Yin said they haven't known each other for long perhaps she didn't feel like he did.

"Two years…." She said in low voice.

"What?" Yuan Shao lean closer, he thought he heard something.

"I give you two years, no more….you can't make me wait even a day longer," she said in fl.u.s.tered, not just her face, her ears and neck are turned to red even the faint moonlight can't hide the changed on her face color.

Yuan Shao exhilarated, his smiles grew wider, it just shot in the dark he never thought she will accept it. he holds his urged to jump excitedly he pull Ming Yue Yin on his embraces as he whispered in her ears "Yes, two years, give two years, I will not disappoint you or I will die in horrible death" he vowed to her wholeheartedly.

Being hold by men for the first time make Ming Yue Yin's body suddenly become stiff, the hard c.h.e.s.t against her, and the warmth that engulf her make her feet went limp but she didn't hate this feeling, on the contrary, she quite like it.

"Don't say something like that…." She hit her c.h.e.s.t lightly "If you came late I marry someone else…." She said with a hint of warning.

"Can I choose horrible death instead" he sighs.

"You can choose to come on time"

"Deal!" he grinned while he hugs her tighter.

Eventually, Yuan Shao left Yong Heng Manor with few of his shadow guard, he only a few steps from leaving the city dozens of assassins with black uniform attack him, Yuan Shao already expected this, he unsheathed his sword as he leaps towards them, he swings his swords the black assassin dodged Yuan Shao attack but he moves quicker, he make sudden moves and throw hidden knives to one of the assassins when they're formation break he launch another attack and managed to kill one of them with one strike.

Yuan Shao subordinated also able to gives fierce attack to pressed the assassin movement as it this make Yuan Shao jobs easier, in ten minutes Yuan Shao and his shadow guards able to kill all the assassin without having too much damaged on there side.

"My help seems unnecessary"

A familiar voice startled him he raised his sword by instinct but the man in front has him smiles deviously, his dark cold eyes make Yuan Shao breathes hicks for a second before he recognizes the intimidating man in front him "Long Ming?" he stunned.

Zhao Li Xin came with Mong Ki and Mong Yi, the moonlight shined from behind him make his figure more imposing and slightly eerie just like the Grimm Reaper asking for a soul. Yuan Shao confused to find him here "What are you doing here?"

"Someone forces me to make sure you're safe until you left the city," Long Ming said in a lazy manner it's obvious he's not coming by choice.

Yuan Shao stifles, the only person who able to forces long Ming is only Luo Ri Yi it must be her who make him come "Thank you for you're consideration but you help me enough"

"Are you sure you will visit the Zhuan Dong continent?" Zhao Li Xin curious why he risks everything to go to that place. He wonders why he didn't take the easy path.

"Yes" he answers firmly "I know someone there, someone who has a high position and that man owed me…it will give me a rare opportunity to gain something"

Zhao Li Xin's eyebrows furrow "Why?" he never considers Yuan Shao as an ambitious man if he does he will not let go of his reputation and the position that he build for years easily. He chuckles lightly "Same like you? For a girl" he shrugs his shoulder seemingly helpless for what he feels.

Zhao Li Xin raised his eyebrows as everything suddenly become make sense for him, he knew the girl he mentions is Ming Yue Yin, from the report of his head housekeeper, other than checking his younger sister Yuan Shao has used his manor as a rendezvous to meet Ming Yue Yin not he complain because Ming Yue Yin has less time for bothering Lory and gives extra time for Lory and Zhao Li Xin to be together.
