Lory's comment shocked him but she oblivious with Mong Gui's shocked expression because when they arrived at the rectangular space on the bas.e.m.e.nt Lory notices the paper pin on the wall, there's painting with a name on the bottom of the paper. Lory observed the painting on the wall then she see more scroll and paper on the table, she examined the papers on the table then she look the wall behind her as her mind contemplating.

"You gather all of this?" Lory asked while her eyes fixed on the wall and paper on her hand.

"Yes, young miss" Mong Gui nods his head.

"Is good…but is still disarray, can I arranged something for you" Lory shift her glance at Mong Gui.

Of course, he can't say no. Mong Gui nods his head again "Of course young madam!"

Lory return the paper on the table, she rest her arms on her waist and take a deep breath "Do you have thread with different colors?"

"I can find it for you immediately" Mong Gui is puzzles by her request but as a good servants, he does whatever his master asked even though he doesn't understand.

"Thank you" lory stretch her neck as she mutters to herself "We got a lot of things to do…"

Mong Gui was still perplexed when he left to buy threads for his mistress, meanwhile Lory examined the paper and divided the information base on date and location, Girsha flew from her c.h.e.s.t and perch on the end of the table, Girsha eyes grew to soften as he becomes nostalgic watching her like this. Girsha remember an old human have said this 

'Gold is a gold even if you throw it on the mud'

Lory screening all the information, everything is jumbled up it will not stranged if Mong Gui might miss the bigger picture here. Lory was reordered the painting on the wall she pins a few information from the table to the wall, one by one she arranged everything on the wall if there any pieces of information were not related she pins on the opposite wall, she saves them just incased she got more news.

"Young madam, I got the threads…" Mong Gui who just arrives was dumbfounded.

"Good!" lory received the threads in swift as she starts to connect the painting with some event that happened she also scribble some words on the wall, Mong Gui watched everything in awed, everything suddenly become clearer only then he realizes he had overlooked a few things in his investigation, then he looks at Lory with admiration, his young madam is even smarter than the rumors said, no wonder his Lord dotted her so much!

After she finishes Lory takes a step back as she observed the result of her watch "You want to add something?" Lory asked Mong Gui, she thought Mong Gui who had been stayed here for years will know more than her.

Mong Gui startled "Ah no, young madam…. I feel embarrassed" he suddenly blurt out his thought, he always thought he is good on his jobs but knows he realizes how conceited he is.

Lory sigh "Don't be, you are doing great, you only need to learn how to process the information, I believe you will get better after this" lory encouraged him with smiles.

Mong Gui sheepishly smiles, his confident lift again because of Lory words "I will try my best young madam!"

"Good!" she satisfied with his attitude, it's always good to have a motivated employee.

"Young madam is it true Mo Ning Yuan is involved with someone from the Chen family" he surprise Lory able to reveal something he doesn't know before.

"Yes, not just involved but they have intimated relationship, but I don't know if that means something for Mo Ning Yuan because she also has intimated relationship with her subordinated"

Mong Gui stunned, he doesn't know that either, is his madam was a spy before, she only stays here for a few days but already gathers more information than him, is he so bad at his jobs or the young madam is too good?

"Our priority to know the identity of which Chen is involved with Mo Ning Yuan then we need to know if it's only that man or the entire Chen family involved with her" Lory knock on Mo Ning Yuan painting.

Mog Gui sighs "I never thought Mo Ning Yuan has involved herself this far, I thought she just a weak lady from ruined family"

"Don't underestimate woman Mong Gui, no one is more relentless, patience and vicious than a woman, never let your guard down in front of women especially a woman like Mo Ning Yuan who seems frail and harmless" Lory chuckles as she reminds the anxious Mong Gui.

"I will remember your teaching young madam" he bows his head deeply he genuinely grateful to learn from her.

"What happened with Mo Ning Yuan's biological mother?" Lory realizes she left out the information about the mother.

"The Mo matriarch is losing her mind after the death of her son, she used to make a ruckus in her courtyard, in the worst situation they have no choice but to restrained her and locked her up," said Mong Gui.

Lory let out a long sighs "Poor woman…"

"But I heard the Mo matriarch condition is getting better lately only her intelligent degreased to a toddler" Mong Gui shakes his head as he pities the woman who used to be beautiful and elegant become like this.

"So the Mo main family is held by Mo Ning Yuan alone?" Lory frowned, she can't imagine how hard it must be for her especially if Mo Ning Yuan is not prepared from childhood to lead her family and in this world, most women are not expected to become the successor of their family.

"That's why she used the man from Chen family to help her" Mong Gui contemplating.

"Perhaps, but before that, we should know how long this relationship going, is that 'Chen' was there from the beginning or is there someone else?" 

"Yes, young madam!" Mong Gui didn't think that far so he was amazed by Lory far sight.

"By the way, do you know about the forbidden library on the top of the mountain?" Lory suddenly shifts the conversation.

"Yes, Milord also asked about this before," said Mong Gui "The truth is I don't know why is that place is highly guarded, there are multiple layers of the protective array and experts guarding every inch of the library, only people who have permits from the elder could enter the library and from all I know there's only old scroll inside that place" Mong Gui was baffled about this fact too.

"That's very…..suspicious" Lory tilted her head with puzzled looks. If they hiding about the map then they should just take the map and hide somewhere close to them, they will not leave it inside the library, something is going on, they hiding something….something more than just an old map.

"Young Madam, what are you thinking?"

Lory snapped back, she shakes her head "No, nothing….we should just focus with the nobles family first and see what happened later, oh about the permits….who able to released the permits to visit the library?" 

Mo Ning yuan said she able to give the permits but that place is more guarded than she thought, it seems is not an easy task so where mo Ning Yuan has the confidence.

"Only the elders from Xie and Nan family who have the authority," said Mong Gui.

Lory scratches her head as she looks vexed, everything is connected to Mo Ning Yuan, she needs to watch her more closely from now on.
