“What’s wrong? Why do you look so flustered?” Team Leader Liu said with a frown. He could already guess that something must have happened from the expression on that policeman’s face.

“We’ve found a skeleton 500 meters ahead along the mountainside,” the policeman said and his eyes were filled with shock as he pointed with a trembling finger toward a small hill in front of them.

The search continued for another two days and the policemen had only stumbled upon a female corpse. As for He Xiyan, they didn’t find a single useful clue, neither did they find her phone, her clothes, accessories, or any suspicious vehicles at the scene.
