Flashback: 20 years ago.

"This will irritate her you know." Andrew Einsberg, the 10-years-old heir of the Einsberg's famiglia, said as he watched Reid panicking when he accidently stepped on the bush of rare flowers that Nicolette, the one and only sister of Andrew, takes good care off for her experiments.

Reid was lucky that those flowers aren't lethal when touched, Andrew thought with relief, if it's those plants whom even when you just touch it, it can already kill a person, then Reid is probably in the footsteps of Grim Reaper's now.

"It wasn't on purpose!" A 10-years-old boy named Reidhart Smith, a close friend of the said two siblings, almost cried. "You keep on cornering me into that direction."

"Don't put the blame on me for this," Andrew glared at him. "It was your fault for dodging all of my attacks."

"And get myself injured? Sorry, buddy, but I still have plans to marry and have kids with my beautiful, and smoking hot wife."

"Your mouth!" Andrew didn't stop himself to give Reid a hard punch on his shoulder. "You should control the curses and dirty words coming from your mouth, especially if Nicolette is around." He lectured but what can he do if Reid's father is a certified womanizer who fvcks every women he met?

Honestly, Reid was an accident, and his mother leave Reid on the front door of Reid's father with a single letter telling that he is his child and Reid's name (cliche story). And of course, Reid's father still valued kinship and took him in and mould Reid into a man like him. One of the most skilled assassin and a... womanizer.

"Sorry but your sister curse more than I do." Reid deadpanned as he rubbed his shoulder.

Andrew pursed his lips but he has no words to rebut him at all. For a six-years-old girl, she sure... curse a lot.

"Big brother! Reid!" Suddenly a childish voice shouted at the entrance of the garden.

Hearing this familiar voice, Reid visibly shudders while Andrew rubbed his temples in distress. Afterwards, he pat Reid sympathetically on the shoulder.

"I remember, I have a lesson regarding about medicine with Father." As he was about to leave, Reid clutched Andrew's shirt in a tight grip.

"Hey! Don't leave me here with your demonic sister!"

"Since you are my friend, I wish you will have an easy death." Then Andrew run off, leaving Reid with an expression that say "I-have-never-been-so-betrayed-in-my-whole-life".

"Hey, where did my big bro run off to?" Nicolette asked as soon as she reached Reid.

"To safety haven." Reid grumbled bitterly.

"What?" Nicolette cocked her to the side in confusion. She looked really adorable at that moment...

That is, until her gaze landed on the ruined flowers whom she took care painstakingly.

Immediately, her cute face darkens. Her bright eyed turned cold as her mouth twitched in anger. Both of her hands are clenched tightly, which frightened the hell off of Reid.

"Reid! How dare you ruin my flowers again!"

"Hey! I didn't ruin them!"

"Liar, you obviously plucked them!"

"I did not! They plucked out of the soil themselves!"

"Do you think I'll believe you, you moronic, useless of a kid!?"

"Excuse your ugly self, how dare you called me moronic? Just because you have a one digit higher IQ than mine, doesn't mean that I am idiot."

"Who are you calling ugly!? You're such an idio--- ah!"

*Bang, Bang, Bang*

There was a sudden series of explosions inside the mansion.

"What was that!?" Cole almost cries in fear. "Are we under attack!?" She looked back at their manor.

Reid was terrified but he didn't let it show in his face. Then a movement from afar caught his attention. He look towards the direction and saw a dozen of unfamiliar men coming to their direction. Then one of the men raised his gun and aimed it towards them. "Cràp! Get down, Cole!" Reid cursed as he pulls Nicolette down to avoid the bullet.

Nicolette let out a surprise scream, "Reid!"

"Don't worry," Reid smiled shakily at her direction. "I'm here, I'll protect you." Then he took her hand and run towards the secret exit somewhere in the garden.

Reid knows that there is a group of men who is always hiding in the dark to protect Nicolette, so he left those men to deal with the outsiders.

"Reid! Big brother, Mother and Father are still there." Nicolette said as she tightens her hold in his hand. "We can't leave them here."

"They'll be safe," Reid assured, not only to comfort Nicolette but also himself. "They'll be safe." He repeated as they reached the end of the garden.

He kicked away the bushes from the ground, and Nicolette saw a metal grate. Reid pulled the metal grate and urge Nicolette to go inside.

"There's a tunnel here connecting to the highway. Go inside, now." Reid pushed Nicolette down the metal grate.

"Aren't you coming with me?" Nicolette stopped him and asked anxiously.

"I need to find Andrew first. We'll follow you after, alright?" Reid said and was about to pushed Nicolette down when they heard Andrew's voice from behind.

"What are you still doing here!? We need to go now!"

Nicolette was delighted to see her big brother but when she noticed his bleeding arm and his bloodied clothes, she became terrified. She pushes Reid aside and run towards Andrew.

"What happened, big brother? Where's Mother and Father!? Are they alright?" She bombared him with questions as she stared anxiously at his bloodshot eyes.

Andrew pursed his lips, he didn't say anything but Nicolette must've realized what his simple action meant as she throws herself in Andrew's arms and cried in his blood stain shirt.

Reid looks away from them as he clenched his fists tightly. He was biting his lips hard that it starts bleeding. Reid's father was the Boss' personal bodyguard, if their parents are dead, it means Reid's father is also dead.

Before he knows it, his vision blurred as droplets of tears fell down from his eyes.

The sound of guns and explosions can still be heard from the manor.

Reid harshly wiped his tears with his hands then he faced the two siblings. "We need to get out of here now."

The two looked at Reid and nodded, as they are preparing to escape, they heard a sickening laughter from not afar. The three turned towards the direction of the laugh, and their eyes widen as they saw a group of men, with an unfamiliar man leading the group.

"Kill those two boys, and leave the girl alive. She will be fit for our experiment." The man in the middle ordered and the men surrounding him nodded their heads as they attack the three children.

Both Andrew and Reid did their best to protect Nicolette, but how can two children defeat a group of adults? In the end, they only killed half of the men, and they took Nicolette.

"Nicolette!" Andrew shouted as one man pinned him down to the ground. He struggles from his hold as he screams for Nicolette.

"Big brother!" Nicolette cries but the man holding her punched her in the gut, making her lose her consciousness, and took her away.

"Dàmn, Nicolette!" Andrew shouted.

End of flashback.

All of a sudden, her eyes opened and a gasp escaped her lips. Nicolette's head throbs painfully as she groans. Her eyes scanned the room, it was unfamiliar, but the soft beeps from the machine told her that she was in a hospital or some sorts.

And she was safe.

Then the sound of a door opens. Nicolette followed the sound and her eyes immediately watered, she called, "Big brother."
