181 Chapter 181: Last Chance

Nathalia sat down next to her and said gently, "It's ok. Have some tea. Don't think too much. Just know that you love your son, and I love him too, and our love for him does not contradict each other."

Mrs. Davidson gazed at Nathalia, trying to understand her words.

Just then, Spencer came in. He was puzzled to see the confused look on his mother's face.

Seeing Spencer, Mrs. Davidson jumped up and rushed to him like a kid, excited to tell someone what they had discovered.

"Spencer, this girl here says she doesn't love you. No. I mean, she says if you don't love her, she will leave you..."

Spencer hugged his mother and gave Nathalia a cheeky glance.

"Well, it's fair, isn't it? And I thought you don't like me to be with Nathalia anyway." Spencer teased.

Mrs. Davidson frowned and said, "What if I say you shouldn't be with her? Like never."

Spencer sat her down and went to sit next to Nathalia, grabbed Nathalia's waist, and embraced her.

"Well, then, we will just wait until you agree." Spencer grinned. "However, that also means mum will need to wait a long, long time till she can have grandchildren. I mean, imagine a handsome little boy like me and a pretty little girl like Nathalia. They will be the best grandchildren for you ever."

Nathalia stared at Spencer, isn't he thinking too far ahead?!

On hearing so, Mrs. Davidson's face lit up. Grandchildren! That would be wonderful. My grandchildren must be the most handsome and beautiful. She wondered happily as she looked at her good-looking son and pretty Nathalia.

"Grandson and granddaughter! I'd love that. But I want four, two boys and two girls."

My goodness. She changed her mind really fast. Four kids! Nathalia's lips twitched as she thought. Helpless.

Spencer giggled and pinched Nathalia's cheeks affectionately. "Sure. As many as you want."

"Alright. I agree that you two can be together." Mrs. Davidson waved her hands and said in a composed but happy tone.

What can I do with these two? Nathalia thought.

At Curt Davidson's office. 2 PM.

Curt had just finished an online video conference when he heard a commotion outside. "What's happening out there?" He asked, sounding annoyed.

The assistant quickly went out to check. Frank Carter was yelling outside, "I need to see Mr. Curt Davidson. I have something important to tell him. Let me see him."

As soon as he caught sight of the assistant, Frank ran to him and grabbed his arms, "Let me see Mr. Davidson." The assistant frowned and thought he's hysterical. I guess he's had a shock.

As the assistant was hesitating if he should inform Curt Davidson. Curt shouted, "Let him in."

Frank stood rather nervously in front of Curt, catching his breath, and smiled apologetically. "Mr. Davidson, how are you? I'm honored to meet you in person."

Curt glanced at the clock on the wall and said sharply, "You have five minutes."

Frank felt the threat of authority and superiority. He licked his dry lips and said directly, "So, I've heard that you want my daughter, Nathalia Carter. I can help you get her." He knew very well that there was no point in beating the bushes, and he was desperate.

Curt looked alert, startled. "What do you mean?"

This is my last chance. I have to take it and make it work. Frank thought to himself. "I know how to get Nathalia for you, but I have one request."

Curt didn't know how to think of Frank anymore. Dumbass. How can a heartless asshole like him have a daughter so genuine and honest?

"I thought you and your daughter are done. Will she listen to you?" Curt questioned.

"I'm her father, after all. I know what she's like. I assure you I can persuade her." Frank said confidently.

Curt looked at Frank doubtfully, "What do you want?"

Frank's face lit up straight away. He saw hope. "I need you to help me get out of trouble."

Curt lifted his eyebrows and mocked, "The price is too high. I know how much you've, so you are selling your daughter for 10 billion dollars."

Frank wasn't sure of Curt's attitude, but this was his only chance, and he was, of course, not to give up so easily. "Mr. Davidson, unlike any other girls you can find, my Nathalia is young, beautiful, elegant and smart. She has money. She's successful, and I'm sure she's good in bed. Perfection. She's surely worth the price."

His words somehow made Curt feel uneasy. "You know what, Frank Carter, you are the most heartless man I've ever encountered. You are selling your own daughter. I wonder what else won't you sell."

Frank's heart raced, his hands sweating, but he told himself that he couldn't give up. For the company, for Zack, he would do anything.

"Mr. Davidson, I've heard that Nathalia is back with your son, Spencer. I'm 100% against it..." He went rambling on, rather excitedly, while thinking to himself, what a brilliant idea. I can get what I want and separate that little devil and Spencer Davidson. I can deal with her much easier when she doesn't have Spencer Davidson on her back. I'm a genius.

Curt cut him short impatiently. He tapped on the desk and said, "Get to the point. You have two minutes left."

Frank took a deep breath, plucked up his courage, and said, "I'm honestly doing you a favor, Mr. Davidson. I understand that you want my daughter, but it's a bit awkward for you because Spencer is your son. You only need to do what you want to do with my daughter, and I will arrange everything. When the media covers the incident, you won't need to take any responsibility..."

Then he saw the icy look on Curt's face. His body shook slightly. "Mr. Davidson, why are you looking at me like that?" He asked nervously.

"I will think about it," Curt said icily.

Frank took it as a yes, and his face lit up again instantly. "Trust me, Mr. Davidson."
