338 Chapter 338: She’s Indeed Nathalia Davidson

Impressive. She's indeed Nathalia Davidson. The crowd thought.

Kelly was taken aback by her calmness. "You.. you are such a devil! You are a murderer!" She stammered.

When Nathalia was about to retort, she caught sight of Spencer's car. Everyone's attention was diverted. "It's Mr. Spencer Davidson." Someone exclaimed.

Spencer got out of the car and walked towards Nathalia with a smile, followed by a few bodyguards. "Babe, you alright?" He opened his arms to embrace her.

Nathalia's face lit up. She gave him a kiss and replied with a smile, "You are home. How's mum doing?"She hadn't seen him for two days, and it seemed to be the longest 48 hours. She had missed him terribly.

Spencer stroked her hair affectionately while gazing at her as if to make it up for the past two days without her presence. When he was about to answer Nathalia's question, Kelly suddenly rushed to Spencer, crying, "Spencer, Amy passed away! My adorable sister! She was only twenty-two years old!"

She was trembling slightly, tears streaming down her face, looking terribly pitiful. Yet, it was so obvious to Nathalia that Kelly was taking the chance to get close to Spencer. Really? Using your sister's death as an excuse? I wonder how your adorable sister would feel about it. Huh.

Spencer dodged swiftly, his face stern and a bit displeased. It happened all so fast that Kelly somehow fell into the arms of one of the bodyguards, who was utterly stunned and didn't know how to react.

Nathalia gave out a sheepish chuckle. Spencer responded to Kelly by giving Nathalia an affectionate kiss on her cheek. Everyone understood straight away that Spencer was making a silent but clear statement that he stood by his wife.

Kelly pushed the bodyguard away and stood in front of Spencer, looking at him with her tearful eyes. "Spencer, oh, what..." she started speaking pitifully, but Spencer cut her short and said plainly, "I'm sorry for your loss." His tone was emotionless. He was just saying the words expected to be heard.

However, Kelly took it as an encouragement and went on speaking pathetically, "Oh, Spencer, I feel so sad. My heart aches so much, thinking about my poor sister. I would rather die myself to get her back." She punched her chest emotionally as she spoke.

Standing next to Spencer, her hand in his, Nathalia leaned her head on his shoulder and watched quietly as if it had nothing to do with her, and she was only there as a spectator watching a show curiously.

She should at least think about her parents, who raised her up and loved her unconditionally. Killing yourself for a guy? How do your parents feel then? You had the courage to die, but you didn't dare to live. She found people like her weak and selfish. She believed that no matter how hard life was, suicide was never the way to escape.

There were those that loved you in your life, and those were the people one should think about. To die for a guy who didn't love you were stupid. He would not feel guilty for your death. He would still live his life the same one and forget about you.

To kill oneself for the sake of love, the so-called love, was the most ridiculous thing in the world. It was simply to bring pain to those that actually loved you.

But who knows if she actually killed herself. Anyway, it's none of my business. She thought to herself.

Seeing how indifferent Spencer and Nathalia reacted, Kelly was enraged. "Spencer, do you know what kind of monster you have married to?! She's a devil. She's so evil..."

Spencer retorted with a frown, "Monster? Devil? Evil? What's your reason to accuse my wife as so?! She's done nothing wrong." He said clearly and put an arm around Nathalia's shoulder protectively.

Everyone knew how much Nathalia and Spencer loved each other, but still, most were impressed that Spencer was defending Nathalia unconditionally.

Obviously, the majority, if not all, considered Nathalia in the wrong simply for what happened the day before Amy's suicide.

Seeing how Spencer protected Nathalia, especially knowing that he was once a notorious playboy, the crowd had learned that he was truly in love with and loyal to Nathalia.

Stunned, Kelly looked at Spencer with her eyes wide open and didn't know what to say anymore.

"Huh?" Herman jumped in, looking annoyed, "Spencer, you can't be biased. This is concerning the death of my sister!"

Spencer sneered and said casually, "Ah, what should I do then?"

Now that he was questioned, Herman felt a great pressure on him, but as soon as he thought of his dead sister, he was encouraged by his anger and said boldly, "Divorce her and stay away from her! Surely, that's the right thing for you to do!"

Feeling supported, Kelly added, "Exactly! Spencer, leave her now!"

The crowd started murmuring, voicing their opinions tentatively. Spencer remained calm and replied with a sneer, "Hahaha. This is ridiculous. Don't you guys have better things to do than worry about Nathalia and me?"

Herman said righteously, "Spencer, we are actually helping you here. She's probably bewitched you. You can't even tell what's right or wrong now."

Spencer found it absolutely a waste of time trying to reason with them. He took Nathalia's hand and said gently, "Babe, come, let's go home."Nathalia nodded with a smile.

"Spencer, what do you mean?! How can you pretend as nothing has happened?!" Kelly yelled after them.

"Huh? What has happened?" Spencer retorted innocently.

The crowd's jaws dropped. Didn't he know?

One journalist said sheepishly, "Err, it's, well, Amy Berry killed herself just the day after..."

"So, she killed herself. What has it got to do with us?" Spencer said clearly. His calmness and aloofness had somehow made the crowd think from a different perspective. He's got the point. Amy Berry killed herself. Nathalia Davidson is not responsible for it.

However, some self-righteous guy suddenly shouted, "But Amy Berry killed herself because of Nathalia Davidson. Mrs. Nathalia Davidson might not have committed a crime legally, but morally, she is guilty..." It was a young man in his early twenties who seemed to be new in the industry.

Spencer took a good look at him and said to one of his bodyguards, "Get his name and the newspaper he works for. Get the lawyer to send them a letter." His voice was calm, but it was sounding threatening to everyone present.

Frightened, the young journalist defended, "Come on, you have to be just...". Then he saw the icy glare on Spencer's face, and he went silent abruptly.
