385 Chapter 385: That’s The Truth

"Zack Carter and I are not blood-related. He's not the son of my mother, nor the son of my father. Considering the profession Ann Carter was in, I guess only she herself knew who Zack Carter's father is." Nathalia said clearly.

People gasped. Daniel Brown was shocked the most. His face went pale. "I beg your pardon! What nonsense are you talking about?! In order to avoid taking responsibility, you are even making up stories..." This is ridiculous! She's obviously lying. Who would ever believe her?!

Nathalia looked at him, thoughtfully, pitifully, and mockingly. "I'm not speaking nonsense. I'm telling the truth. We've done a DNA test with his hair, and the result says clearly that he and I are not blood relatives." Nathalia indicated her assistant, and a few minutes later, the assistant returned with a piece of paper. It was the DNA test result.

Nathalia had suspected it long ago, thinking the two of them did not look alike at all. Also, Zack bore no resemblance to Frank also, he and Ann or Evette looked barely alike. She had hired someone to follow Zack and collected a hair of his. She wasn't surprised when she saw the result.

The crowd gasped again, their discussion grew louder. So that's the truth!

No wonder. I have thought that this boy doesn't really look like either of his parents. That's why!

My god! The only son of the Carters is actually a bastard!

Imagine if he was to inherit the Carter Company, and no one knew his real identity till afterward!

What a joke!

Daniel quickly grabbed the paper from the assistant's hand. His face went paler as he went through it, and he shook his head frantically. "This is impossible! This is fake! You can't do this! It's unacceptable!" He was shaking, his voice trembling.

This can't be true! No! He was screaming inside. He felt like the sky was tumbling down.

He wanted to tear the paper, but his hands were shaking so badly that he couldn't.

"No!" Zack suddenly screamed. "Nathalia, you are so brutal! How can you do this to me?! I'm your brother! We have the same father! Please, Nathalia, don't do this to me. Don't hurt me..." He started sobbing emotionally as he spoke.

However, no one pitied him. They watched him with disdain, considering him as a bastard, a joke. Frank Carter's favorite son, whom he spoiled so much, turns out to be a bastard. Ha-ha. What a joke!

Nathalia shrugged her shoulders indifferently. "I'm lucky that I don't have a brother like you." If he had stayed in Europe, this would not have happened. Well, he asked for it. "Oh, by the way, I guess if it wasn't because of you, your mother would not be able to marry into the Carters."

Just before Frank's father passed away, Ann bore a son, so he agreed at the end that Frank could marry her. It was obvious that Zack was the reason why Ann could marry into the Carters.

Now, the truth was uncovered, and it was an ugly truth.

What Ann Carter had done to be able to acquire wealth and fame was shocking. It was all coming back to her and to her children.

She was obsessed with money and fame. She sold her body and her conscience for a glorious life of about fifteen years, and now she had to pay for it. Her children had to pay for her sin.

Nathalia watched Daniel Brown for a while, seeing how his face turns pale and how utterly defeated he looked.

"No! No! No! I don't believe you! Zack is the only son of the Carters! He is!" He screamed emotionally.

His unusually emotional reaction shocked the crowd. Who is he?! Isn't he overreacting?!

Nathalia had her guesses, and Daniel's reaction seemed to confirm her guesses. She heaved a sigh intentionally and said with pity, "It's a shame that Frank Carter has gone missing. Or they can do another DNA test to confirm again. I wonder how he would feel, finding out that the son he's spoiled so much all these years is someone else's."

"But, he loves Ann Carter very much, so I guess he can accept her son as his own and continue to love this bastard..." Nathalia said plainly and brutally.

I bet he would lose his mind! He would probably kill his wife! The crowd wondered.

This is probably the worst punishment for him, raising up someone else's kid thinking he's his own and only son.

Daniel stared at the paper blankly, his body shaking so badly as if he would faint any moment.

Nathalia watched him coldly. She felt no pity for any of them, Zack, Frank, Ann, or Daniel.

Frank Carter, this is what you get when you killed your wife, tortured your own daughter, and married a prostitute.

All of a sudden, Zack dashed at Nathalia, trying to throw his fist at Nathalia. Fortunately, Nathalia dodged quickly, and a few bodyguards reacted instantly and grabbed Zack's arms in time.

He glared at Nathalia, shouting furiously, "Nonsense! I'm the only son of the Carters. I'm the legal and only heir to the Davidson properties. You made up such a horrible story so that you can inherit the family business! You are unforgivable! I'm going to beat you up!"

He was no longer the pitifully sobbing teenager but an angry and violent bully. Nathalia was reminded of the old Zack, the cruel face, his merciless punches, and kicks. "You haven't changed, have you? Bully. I remember how tough your fists were and how much they hurt! But I won't be bullied by you anymore."
