9 Wine

Inside the King's Library, Lau Mei just finished the chess game when she saw the beautiful lady dancing and quite irritated. She got curious as to whats happening. When she saw the body guard hiding in the corner and trying to video something. Lau Mei realized that the beautiful lady is in trouble as the gentleman making perverted moves on the beautiful lady. The reason why the beautiful lady is trying to shake off the perverted gentleman. She was about to step in when Lui Yang called her.

"Mr. Lau can we talk about this?" Lui Yang was panicking and sweating is clearly seen from his face because of his lost in the game

"Why? We both know that we made a deal on our own accord, no one force us to do it and the King's Library together with other loyal guests as our witness to our deal. Right?" Lau Mei said with sarcasm in his tone but her eyes were full of dispute that made her raise her an eyebrow. She walks towards him and continued.

"I want my part of the deal or else you know what will happen to those who break into their words right" Lau Mei said with full of contempt as if she wanna try Lui Yang if he will fight back. Lui Yang felt he was in great danger if he provokes Mr. Lau more.

"Mr. Lui Yang you better walk away now or you'll lose everything... " Lau Mei whispered to him. She was about to walk away when she goes back to Lui Yang "Next time when you start a game finish it with clean motives or you'll end with nothing" Lau Mei was smiling while whispering those words while Lui Yang balled his fist until his nails dug into his fingers. Anger is clearly written on the face of Lui Yang.

"I thought your my friend?" Lui Yang was trying to boil down his anger and change his approach as to save himself.

"A friend, are you sure? A while ago you just want to express your superiority on me and eat me alive on the game just because your hungry like a wolf. Am I right?" Lau Mei said and was quite irritated at Lui Yang's words that she take a step back but still remain a close proximity and look at him in the eyes said "Oh really so you just saw a beautiful lady arrived and due to your animal instinct desires you offer a wager to a person who you just meet tonight. Am I right? So how you can consider me as a friend? When you just want to have my company." Lau Mei take a deep breath to die down her irritation and calm her aura and continued "Friends are for only persons who treasure and treat each other like siblings from another mother but a man like you should not be treated as a friend because you impose superiority as if your the one who build your company from scratch" Lau Mei was no longer irritated as she released the words she wants to release but still maintain her diguise. Then she left Lui Yang standing still but she suddenly remember things in the past that said by her father "business is business but a honest person and never forget its roots is what makes a good businessman."

Lui Yang side, How dare that newcomer to insult me inside the King's Library I will make sure that Mr. Lau bastard will kneel to me someday and I will make sure that if I do it. I will make his pain slowly until he eats back his own tongue. Because of his anger he choose walk away silently and drive his way out of the King's Hotel.

Back to Zhang Wei who is now looking at the green suit man who rescued him from being hurt is now coming at him and saying some words that he can't understand as he is mesmerized by Mr. Lau and only when Lu Ting snapped his fingers that struck him to wake up.

"Oh... Yes am listening" Zhang Wei was flustered but still managed to regain his senses.

"Seems to be that your traumatised do you need to be stressed debrief... uhm... we can call someone" green man in suit offered.

Zhang Wei was quite agitated about the green man in suit offer.

"Thank you for your humble offer sir but, I well prefer not attract attention" Zhang Wei declined gracefully and continued "but with your humble personality, am curious to who you are, may I know your name sir?" Zhang Wei managed to use his smooth way of conversation as to fish out some information but sadly he only knew a few as he is Mr. Lau and a loyal guest King's Hotel but a newcomer to King's Library. In his thought what a conspicuous identity does Mr. Lau have but he entered like a nobleman with a rebellious personality just like how he handle my situation earlier but I must admit it was a close call to trouble and while they are talking a butler comes holding a nicely chilled old vintage wine covered with a table napkin, approach them.

"Good evening young Miss and young Master. We would like the both of you to accept this gift as to compensate for the rude behavior of our former guest and for our delayed handling the matter that arisen a while ago. We promise to improve here at King's Hotel and that this matter will not happen again. We hope both of you will still enjoy your night. The butler said humbly. Then butler bowed and offered the wine.

"Hmm... Well, I think my date will not arrive anymore as it has been 1 hour 30 minutes since I arrived. I would like to invite you to join me in drinking this wine." Zhang Wei said with an obvious disappointment in his eyes. This made him quite sad as his transformation is wasted.

"From a beauty that is unrivalled, I must not say no as the gentlemen around will be angry at me and it's my great pleasure to have a drink with you please do lead the way Ms. Zhang." Lau Mei can't say no as he took glance around her all the men guest at the King's Library are giving her a dagger look and She also felt that men are just waiting for her to say "NO" as they will try to steal the spot joining with a beautiful lady with an old vintage wine even she would not dare say "NO".

Zhang Wei tells the butler to bring it into the reserve room as soon as they arrived Lu Ting was following behind them.

In Lu Ting thoughts, what happen to this playboy friend of his, as what he can see Zhang Wei is starting to embrace the act he is doing especially with the not so tall guy who save him. He feels that Zhang Wei is acting like a damsel in distress that has been saved by his not so tall Prince Charming and the worst he is being ignored all the time until the enter the room.

"Mr. Lau. I may know how you know that am recording as I am hiding pretty well and this is to improve my skills?" Lu Ting started the conversation to Lau Mei as to fry her on the spot.

"Well since you did ask. I will tell you, It because how you take the video, you were at the place hiding but the way you take a video is intriguing as you we're silently laughing as if something was funny at Ms. Zhang being touched at her butt." Lau Mei gave him a smirk after what she said. Lu Ting was caught off guard the he can't save himself from his actions. When Zhang Wei heard what Lau Mei said he threw a dagger look on Lu Ting that made Lu Ting felt chills on his back.

"Well my body guard..." Zhang Wei gave a chilling look with a feminine smirk to Lu Ting and continued "NEED SOME TRAINING" Zhang Wei emphasize those words which made Lu Ting so terrified to the point he try to change the topic.

"Why not... we try the wine... I mean why not the both of you try the wine" Lu Ting is stuttering said this as he is trying to save himself from the situation. Lu Ting initiate to put a wine on their glasses and he shut his mouth and just sit in one corner trying to hide himself.

"Well its good to have a good conversation at you Ms. Zhang but may I ask what's the reason you're here, and its rare for the King's Library to have a new comer with such an unrivalled beauty." Lau Mei asked while rotating the bottom of his wine glass and look to her wine after she look at Zhang Wei.

"As I said a while ago my date never showed up." Zhang Wei get his wine glass and slowly swirl, smelled and holding it put it up quite close at the side of his face. Zhang Wei give his most feminine smile.

"Well your date will regret as he will not see the beauty in front of me" Lau Mei looked at her wine glass and gave a mocking smirk while looking at it as if her wine glass is the guy Zhang Wei is prefering to.

"I wish that to happen but sadly it didn't happen but luckily a gentleman like you save my night." Zhang Wei smile after what he said and sip his wine and he continued "since we can't empty this vintage bottle by ourselves why didn't we invite to join my body guard as there was a saying "The more the merrier". What do you say?" Zhang Wei was trying to fish out some more information to Lau Mei as he was curious how this gentleman come out of nowhere. Well as Zhang Wei don't know Lau Mei is also curious and do the same thing.

"Well if that will make you glad please do as what entice you." Lau Mei smiled and making up plans in her mind. Zhang Wei invited Lu Ting to drink with them and the night goes on until they get drunk and barely remember what happen.

When one of the butlers of King's Library entered the room it immediately called for other butlers as to handle the 3 of them as to they will not cause trouble inside and book each of them a room secretly and put each of them inside.
