Chapter 359 - Test Me

Li Feng's heart started to sink as he tried to summon forth his power. His energy wouldn't even surge or circulate. There was simply no way he could tap into their blood connection at will. Fear spread throughout his body as he suddenly felt defenseless.

In front of a demon, even if he was not restrained, he wouldn't be able to do anything. Pfft. Who was Li Feng trying to delude? Even if he was at his peak, he wouldn't be able to do anything to a demon. Maybe he was able to summon a ceremonial sword now, but he was still ineffective against a demon.

"Yingxia..." Li Feng spoke again as he opened his eyes, but his smile immediately dropped as he saw two old men standing before Qiao Shan—no, that was Hongfei. They had arrived quite at the same time he broke out of his despairing reverie. Right now, his handsome face was now slowly being contorted by anger.

"Please, Li Feng. No need to be so angry. All of us have to be so cautious, especially when dealing with one of Hades's many children." One of the old men spoke as he walked closer with his hands behind his back. He looked gentle and soft with his eyes closed and his lips curling. 

However, Li Feng couldn't be deceived. "Cautious? You mean terrified?" He almost spat. "Qiao Dong, whatever you think you can achieve, I swear you won't be able to have it. The Mian family will never let you destroy another big family again."

Qiao Dong only opened his small eyes, and the aura around him somewhat changed. He then turned to his side to take a look at Hongfei. "Yingxia will be sad if you damage the skin above the neck."

Before Li Feng could react to his words, Hongfei already flicked her hand to produce a red cloth. The cloth slapped against the center of Li Feng's abdomen, and he felt like he was hit by scalding water. He g.r.o.a.n.e.d, and the skin immediately reddened. He then glared at Qiao Dong who only smiled like a scheming old man at him.

"Now, let's start from the very beginning, Li Feng. Tell me everything you know about Hades. Don't worry, Hongfei will be very careful and won't make you bleed." The old man sneered at the pained young man. 

However, Li Feng moved his hand that was hanging overhead and flipped the bird at him. "Test me, old f.u.c.ker."

By now, Mian Bingbing had pestered Liu Xiaodan with calls. However, since they were discussing a lot of things on the penthouse pool of Ruan Jin's c.o.n.d.o.minium, his phone wasn't on his person. Chuan Nayi broke the news of the newly-established company to them. She wanted them to help out… basically, she was asking them to work for her and with her in that new production company.

Even Liu Xiaodan was surprised that the company was going to be a production company. Then again, they could start with two-minute videos and grow from there. So that was why she mentioned that she would rather get him as a cinematographer than Li Feng. To think about it, all of them wouldn't have overlapping jobs… and that was very exciting. No more worries of them being pressured to find odd jobs for work.

Liu Xiaodan also mentioned the short course from that Hollywood director. Needless to say, they suddenly rained praises to the absent Li Feng. If he came with them to the hospital earlier, he would have been here as well.

"To think about it, that dog hasn't responded to me since this morning." Liu Xiaodan moved to the moving pool floaty to find his phone among everyone else's. That was the only time he noticed that Mian Bingbing had called him twenty times, Wu Qianqian ten times, Liu Li thrice… Li Heilong once. 

His blood immediately drained from his face as he dialed Li Heilong's number. He figured this was about Li Feng, or else the tycoon had no reason to call him. As soon as the call connected, Li Heilong's voice went through. "Take your friends to your home. Feng is missing, and Yusheng was attacked. If you receive a call from Qiao Shan, find out where she took my son."

Liu Xiaodan froze for a few seconds before Bihan and Old Doctor got out on their own. The transcendent then narrowed his eyes at the gentle waving water. "Mr. Li, have you looked into the Wu family or the Qiao family? I doubt Qiao Shan would voluntarily do something like this."

"Speak to me again about her when we find my son. His transmitters are all disabled, and his phone and his car were still they should be. Can you pinpoint his location?" His tone suddenly shifted and somewhat felt a little expectant of a positive answer.

Liu Xiaodan tried to tap into Li Feng's vision. He couldn't see what Li Feng, but…

The transcendent held onto his phone tighter. He then waddled to get to the side. "Mr. Li, can you track where Wu Zhen is right now? I can't find where he is… but I see this man with some creepy old man. Qiao Shan is there as well. Something must be off."

"I'll track him down."

Li Heilong hung up as soon as he received a name from Liu Xiaodan. He then disseminated an order through their secured line before lifting his eyes from the small screen of his phone. Wang Yusheng was sitting on the edge of the bed with a rather grave expression on his face. On Li Heilong's side was the scared and shaking Li Xin. She was even holding onto her brother like she was a lost schoolgirl.

He then huffed as he finished sending a message to Mian Bingbing. "I couldn't have possibly secured that woman as much as I wanted."

"You couldn't have possibly secured that woman as much as you wanted." Wang Yusheng only echoed his words before sighing. "I can't believe I will be able to use those things that Kang Jun had given me in passing. It's good I kept them on me these days. Facing a King is surely very terrifying…

"Thanks… whoever you are..." Wang Yusheng spoke as if he could see Tang Mingming and Yi Junhai in the room. Just now, they killed a King who was greatly weakened under the scorch of that protective talisman. "So… who could have brought that here? As far as I know, Guangru combed through all these walls already. There shouldn't be any of them left."

Li Heilong only hummed as he received a message from someone else among the henchmen. "Zhizhuo has found Wu Zhen. He's in a place quite far from here. Let's go."

Upon hearing that he was leaving, Li Xin gasped and held onto him stronger. "Big Brother! You can't leave me here! What if they attacked me again?!"
