Chapter 594 - 181: Take It

Ethel couldn't believe what she had heard. She felt pity for Catherine as she watched her.

"Sir, Catherine's about to pass out! This is physical abuse!" Ethel was furious.

Without glancing at her, Hunter replied, "This is an order!"

She couldn't believe her ears when hearing his answer, "Life matters the most."

Seeing how weak Catherine got, Ethel knew she must be feeling incredibly awful. Or she would not give up.

Although Ethel knew Catherine not long ago, she knew she was a proud girl since she was stubborn and sincere.

"Catherine."

"Yes, Sir."

"Carry on."

Catherine couldn't look paler. She would run five or six l.a.p.s to show Hunter how capable she was if she didn't have her period. But she could barely walk, let alone run.

"Can't you run?" asked Hunter.

Cecil said, "Instructor, I'll run the rest for Catherine."

"Shut up! Who asked you to help her?" Instructor Hunter sneered at Cecil.

Ethel was mad, "Instructor, you're a heartless monster that treats life like nothing."

"I've never seen a petty man like you. You're so selfish!  You didn't consider Catherine's situation, even though you've seen how weak she appeared,"

Hunter was so mad that he turned livid.

"Get back in the squad!"

Cecil and Ethel wouldn't leave.

Catherine smiled, "I'm fine. You guys go back."

Sean slammed the door and dashed over.

He saw everything in the car and got angrier the closer she was to Catherine.

"Aren't you being too self-centered?"

Hunter turned around and saw Sean. "Who are you?"

Sean's look was icy and sharp. Hunter felt the chillness in his bones. Even if it was summer, Hunter felt cold due to Sean's strong presence.

Catherine saw Sean in a daze and smiled.

"Sean?"

Seeing how fragile Catherine got, Sean felt his heart twitch. It was like being stabbed in the heart, and the pain was excruciating.

Sean grabbed Catherine in his arms and gently c.a.r.e.s.sed her face. He wished he could suffer for her.

Sean said, "What did you promise me? Catherine, how could you do this to yourself?"

"I'm sorry."

"It won't help a bit."

Catherine explained as she kept panting. "I was fine yesterday. But my period came this morning."

Sean was so mad that he could spank her. But he had to hold back the urge.

Sean picked her up gently and into the car in public.

Catherine looked around. Ethel and Cecil were in shock, and Instructor Hunter was in anger. She hurried to look away.

She knew she was going to be famous again.

Sean wrapped her up in his coat and handed her a cup of tea. He held her on his t.h.i.g.h and pulled her hair behind her ears.

Her fingers and forehead were both cold. Sean rubbed her hand and gave her an order to drink the tea.

As the warm tea slid across her throats, Catherine could feel the coldness fading. In Sean's warm c.h.e.s.t, her heart was warmed, sensing Sean's breath.

"Are you still in pain?"

"Yeah."

Sean got a box of painkillers from his pocket and gave Catherine one table. He said, "Take it."

Catherine took the tablet and had two more sips of tea. Then she got warm.

'What's this?"

Catherine saw Sean rip off the bag and took out a medicine patch. The smell of medicine was rich. Sean pulled over her shirt and stuck it to her belly.

"For bad cramps?"

"Yes."

"I didn't know you bought this."

Catherine took one more look at the bag. It contained multiple things.

Sean wiped the sweat off Catherine's forehead. Although he looked ferocious, he moved gently and hugged her harder.

Seeing all the stuff Sean got her, she finally realized why he was here.

"How do you know?" asked Catherine.

Sean looked at her coldly like she asked a stupid question.

Catherine said, "Have you counted my days? That's incredible."

Sean said, "That time left an impression."

Catherine recalled the day she was reborn. It was their wedding night. It was early July, and this was the beginning of September. So Sean knew her period was coming and brought her tea and pain killers.

Sean knew everything about Catherine, from her birthday, period day to her likes and dislikes. That meant she meant a lot to him. Catherine felt the mixed emotions springing up. She took a deep breath and said thanks.

Sean was thoughtful, careful, and considerate. Catherine was moved.

Sean rubbed her belly with warm hands and asked if she was better.

"Yes, I am."

"Finish this. And stay in the car."

Sean wouldn't leave the car until Catherine nodded.

"Where are you going?" asked Catherine.

"You don't have to know."

Sean didn't get off until Catherine turned better. He marched over to the military training site.

Hunter was still mad. Seeing Sean came back, he looked at him lightly.

"Which squad are you from?" asked Sean.

"What do you mean?"

"Name and squad."

"Why should I tell you?"

Sean sneered and slapped him across the face. Then he kicked Hunter, and he fell to the ground. Sean said coldly, "Get up!'

Hunter hurried to get up. As he was about to strike back, Sean kicked him again.

Every time Hunter got up, he was struck down. Facing downward, he was a mess.

No one knew Sean except Madison. They just knew he wasn't a student and had a relationship with Catherine.

Boys admired how clean he fought. Girls were obsessed with his good looks. No one cared how badly Hunter was hurt.

"Get up and continue!"

Hunter's face was swollen, and he was utterly embarrassed that he couldn't fight back.

"Do you know there are consequences for assaulting a soldier?"

Sean said, "I guess I haven't beaten up enough."

Hunter's look changed.

He had to cover the c.h.e.s.t. That kick Sean gave him was powerful. His c.h.e.s.t still hurt.

"Ask your superior to give me a good explanation," Sean said. Then he kicked Hunter more.

"Who are you?" asked Hunter.

"You're not qualified to know the answer."

Seeing Hunter was getting beaten up, other instructors came over.

'You can all fight me at one time."
