Chapter 615 - 202: It Is Not A Secret

These days, everything was fine.

It seemed that Pearl didn't mean to play tricks, but Catherine was still worried that she neglected something.

In the next two days, nothing happened. No one attacked her, and her post was also deleted.

However, Catherine seemed to have a foreboding that trouble would come sooner or later.

"Cathy, look! It is from Elliot."

"Well," said Catherine. She didn't raise her head but still stared at her textbook.

Ethel held her arms, "I find it seems that we have a connection to Elliot. We will study on the same floor, and after class, he will pass by our class.

"You can come to see him."

Students had ten minutes to take a rest and make preparations for the next class.

Catherine was still sitting in the class, considering what she needed to bring when she went back to Sean's Mansion tomorrow.

"Elliot is standing outside."

Ethel immediately took Anna to go out.

Cecil shook her head and said, "Ethel is crazy when she sees handsome boys."

"We are human beings. It is natural that everyone loves handsome boys or beautiful girls."

Catherine looked at Cecil and asked, "Why not go with them?"

"I am not interested in it."

"Really? Don't you like handsome boys?"

"It is useless. I need a man to make a good life together, not a handsome man," said Cecil.

Besides, Cecil knew many people loved Elliot and wanted to be with him, and she didn't want to compete with them.

Catherine smiled, "Beautiful face can't bring essential food, but you will feel happy when you see it. That's good."

"Who knows. I will consider it later. But Cathy, it is good that you don't have to care about material things."

"Yes. I don't have to worry about it. He has enough money to afford my material things even if I don't have a job."

Cecil knew Sean was rich and successful.

Ethel and Anna got back to class until the bell rang.

As Ethel got into the class, she held Catherine's hands and said excitedly, "Senior Elliot was looking at me. He put hands on his pockets, looking very handsome."

Catherine felt cold sweat trickling down her forehead, "Umm, Ethel, you love him."

"But I am afraid that he won't love me."

Elliot was not a knowledgeable gentleman but dauntless and dandy.

"Why not have a try? Probably, he loves you. By the way, he doesn't have a girlfriend, right?"

"Right."

Catherine gave a half laugh and said, "You already knew it."

"It is not a secret. Most of the juniors knew that."

"It is an opportunity for you."

Ethel was speechless and then said, "Uh-huh. I don't want to go after him. I just think he is handsome, but I can't imagine that he would be my boyfriend. Understood?"

Catherine didn't know Elliot very well. She just remembered the day when she fought with Elliot, and he looked at her angrily.

As time passed, however, Catherine almost forgot Elliot until Ethel mentioned him again.

Ethel told Catherine that they frequently saw Elliot in recent days.

When they went to the bathroom, the dorm, and cafeteria, they always saw Elliot.

But Catherine didn't think it was strange. On the contrary, she thought it was just a coincidence.

One day, since there was no class in the afternoon, Catherine and her roommates went to the library to borrow books. When they arrived in the library, four of them were separated to find the books they liked.

There were varied books in the library of Kings College, including the books concerning the design that Margo mentioned.

Catherine was looking for some books related to designing. She stood on tiptoe to get a book on the top bookshelf, but the shelf was too high, and she failed.

Actually, the library administrator usually made use of a ladder to sort books.

Catherine was a bit frustrated.

Suddenly, a tall man walked to her and got the book.

"This one?" asked the man in a low voice.

Catherine was surprised and raised her head.

She saw a dandy and perfect face, looking more beautiful than women.

"Elliot Holloway?"

"Is it?"

"Yes, it is. Thank you."

Elliot is a head taller than Catherine. His legs and arms were long. He could get the book easily without standing on tiptoe.

Catherine curled her lips and thought to herself, "It is good to be tall."

"Do you need anything else?"

"Not yet."

Elliot leaned against the bookshelf with both hands in the pockets, looking at Catherine up and down.

He thought to himself, "She is short and thin, but how could she fight against me?"

Elliot still remembered the feeling when Catherine touched his arms.

Whenever he recalled the day they fought, he couldn't help but laugh.

"Senior Elliot, you come here to borrow books?" asked Catherine casually.

"I just look around."

"Okay. I won't interrupt you."

Elliot frowned, "Do you bother me?"

Catherine raised her eyebrows and answered, "I mean, I want to read the book now."

Elliot was a little angry and said aggressively, "A short person should seek help. Otherwise, you might knock this bookshelf over. If the bookshelf hit you, I am afraid that your body will be flatter."

Catherine was speechless.

Catherine knew Elliot had a bad mood, but she didn't expect that he was so mean.

Catherine was angry, so she answered, "I don't care. Senior Elliot, I didn't ask for your help."

"I can't understand why they voted for you. You are not qualified to be the cutest girl in school."

"It is none of your business."

"Yes, it is none of my business, but I can't accept it."

"You don't have to accept it."

"I don't even want to look at you. You are just a ferocious person, just like a woman."

Catherine picked up her books and raised her chin, "It is none of your business, senior Elliot!"

Catherine thought to herself, "What a mean person! He hates me because of the fight."

"Catherine!"

"I have to go, Goodbye," said Catherine. And then she turned around and left.

Looking at Catherine's back, Elliot knew Catherine was angry.

Elliot felt annoyed at himself and rubbed his face, "I should control myself. She must be angry."

Elliot recalled the day when Catherine passed by his class. He seemed to see Catherine's slim figure and perfect curved profile.

"Elliot Holloway, you are crazy! Why do you like her? I must be blind. But, strangely, I think she is very cute when she fights against me. Alas, I guess the moonlight gives me the illusion." Elliot said to himself.
