Chapter 633 - 220: He Fired Many Employees

Some lazy students immediately sat straight when they heard that.

"Cathy, are you okay?" Ethel wrote these words on the paper.

Catherine shook her head and said she was all right,

She was astonished that Sean became the professor of Kings College and taught her.

Ethel made faces and said, "The professor is handsome."

Catherine supported her forehead and sighed.

Everyone felt the class was torture that they needed to put up with. Then the ringing of the bell saved them.

It wasn't that the professor's lecture was boring. On the contrary, it was intriguing. But his looks were frightening. He could tell the slightest movement or the most subtle whisper from his class. It was like he had a vision that could see beyond thousands of miles with clairaudience.

The professor was a handsome young man. Yet his presence was formidable. One couldn't defy whatever he said when he threw a look.

Catherine couldn't pay attention to the class. She didn't hear what the professor said. But his charming voice kept echoing. It was so lovely that Catherine wanted to sleep.

"Do you get what I've said?" asked the professor.

"Yes, Sir." The class answered.

"We'll do a random check in the next class." said the professor.

Sean picked up the textbook, which he barely looked through the whole class. But he could give a lecture in a logical and interesting manner, which was quite smooth.

"Class dismissed!"

Sean looked at Catherine. Catherine winked back. The sparkles of romance were kindled as they exchanged looks.

"Hey, don't wait for me. I have other plans," said Catherine.

Cecil smiled, "We won't see you at noon, right? Don't worry. I'll bring you the textbook for the course in the afternoon."

Catherine rolled her eyes at Cecil.

"I thought the new professor was single. So I've been racking my brain to figure out a way to draw his attention. But he's taken. Surprise surprise. I have to give up asking him out for a date."

Ethel said, "It's not any news."

"Cecil..."

"Stop hugging me. I can't take it."

Neither knew Catherine was dating a professor. And her boyfriend just came here. In the last month, the calculus was lectured by another man. Then came the handsome young professor named Sean. Ethel knew there must be something about it.

"Professor Blair is so hot. They say he's outstanding. I was impressed when we met earlier. Now we get to look at him closely. He's even hotter."

Ethel was talking about the day Sean fought Instructor Hunter. He was aggressive and vicious that day. Now he looked gentle and erudite. It was like two men. However, she thought he was hot either way, and his charm was irresistible.

"Catherine, I'm jealous of you for having such a hot boyfriend."

Catherine said, "Oh, stop it."

"It's one thing you keep your boyfriend from us, Catherine. But now he's our professor. That's insane." said Ethel, as she kept dreaming of having a boyfriend.

"There's Elliot, isn't there?" asked Catherine.

"He's not my boyfriend," said Ethel.

"I have to go. Please take my textbook back," said Catherine.

Ethel said, "Okay."

"Thanks, girls, you're the best," said Catherine.

Sean left first. Catherine got his text. Besides, she had so much to tell him. So she left in a hurry.

"How nice it will be to be in a relationship," Ethel said.

Anna and Cecil didn't respond because Ethel has been talking about getting a boyfriend for ages, but she never did anything.

Sean wouldn't have to be a lecturer at Kings College. It was beneath his status. What a waste of time and energy! He did it solely for Catherine. But she was just a normal girl and didn't deserve it. That was what Catherine thought.

Lecturing was so out of his character because Catherine knew he wasn't a talkative person, nor liked the crowd. But this seemed nothing.

Both Iris and Pearl were in such a shock knowing about this. They were certain this was for Catherine. So they hated her for it.

Iris couldn't imagine what it was like. Sean was a man of silence. It would be killing him to say so many words in one class.

Catherine ran out of the campus in case Sean was waiting. She saw him with shirts and pants at the rendezvous point.

He seemed to be in a good mood and was smiling.

"What's the rush? Do you miss me so much?" asked Sean.

Catherine said, "How do you become our lecturer? Professor Blair?"

"Don't you like it?"

"Why do you do it?"

Sean said, "I thought we could see each other all the time."

"Are you hungry? Let's grab a bite," said Sean.

"Thanks for meeting me here. If others saw me..."

"So what?"

"I guess it's okay. But you're a celebrity now. They are curious about you. I don't want any attention."

Sean buckled her up and drove to a restaurant not far from the campus.

"Can't you show me to others?" asked Sean.

"No. I need to keep a low profile."

"So we're keeping this a secret?" Sean wasn't pleased.

"I'm too young, okay? You haven't told me how you become a professor."

"I'm exploring every life possible."

Sean ordered the way Catherine liked it. He smiled, noticing her curious face.

"Do you really want to know?" asked Sean.

"Yeah."

"Give me a kiss."

"I heard about the superhot new professor all day. Ethel went to ask about it. The new professor is about 25 or 26. He teaches freshman calculus. I didn't think much of it until I saw you."

"Are you surprised?"

"I'm shocked."

Sean petted her nose, "Aren't you glad to see me?"

"But it's so odd. You don't look like a teacher."

"Really?"

"You don't say much. I can't get used to it. Aren't you tired?"

Sean even wrote on the board. He was patient, yet his look was indifferent. It was like Catherine met a new Sean.

"I'm a bit dry. Do you want to help me get moisturized?"

Then Sean held Catherine in his arms and bent over to kiss her soft lips.
