Chapter 654 - 241: A Brilliant Woman

Catherine ran out of the campus gate to meet Sean, who was waiting. She didn't get relieved until she saw the familiar car and got in.

Sean kept his jaw clenched and clenched the steering wheel tightly, saying, "What did you say to Elliot?"He saw Catherine talking to Elliot when he left the classroom and when they were alone on the basketball court. Although he curbed the urge to confront them then, Sean couldn't help getting jealous again.

"I told him to stop challenging others to a basketball match. He's terrible at it, unlike my husband, who crushed him in the court by making several goals within minutes. The way you moved balls is how a basketball star does. Honey, I didn't know you're so good at basketball."

Catherine looked at Sean admiringly, which helped him stop getting jealous. Catherine was like this. She was as good at annoying him as well as talking sweet.

"Is there anything you're bad at?" asked Catherine. As she got to know him, she noticed so many remarkable things about Sean. He was smart and sharp. Not anyone had his presence.

"I'm bad at giving you up." Sean said, "Nor leaving you alone and letting you walk away." Sean said.

"Bossy!" Catherine said as she felt so flattered.

"Don't get so close to Elliot."

"I'm not, and I will not."

Elliot was the one making ridiculous decisions. He didn't do anything crossing the line until the day he came to her class. The excuse was listening to calculus. But Catherine knew his true intentions. But the way she challenged Sean surprised her.

"Honey, you looked so hot when you made the goal. The girls go crazy for you."Catherine said. And she felt displeased that how girls had their looks glued to Sean.

"Do you know you've become the hottest professor on campus?" asked Catherine.

"I don't care." Sean wasn't interested in how others said about him.

"I can hear different girls talking about you every day."

"How about you?"

"What?"

"I'm the hottest for them. How about you?"

"You are for me as well."

"Okay." Sean smiled as he got a satisfying answer.

"Hey, do you time for supper and shopping later?" Catherine asked.

"What if I say no?"

"I won't take no for an answer. Aren't you looking forward to dating a brilliant woman?"

"A brilliant woman?"

"I'm talking about me."

"I can't tell."

"Then you should check your eyes."

Sean was used to how brazen Catherine could get. Actually, he liked this honest side about her, contrary to the way she walked on thin ice around her in the past, like he would eat her alive.

After dinner, Catherine and Sean took a walk at the night market, like normal couples. He would pay for whatever she liked, held her bags, and fed her snacks.

Sometimes, Catherine behaved like a girl, and Sean would spoil her. Aren't you looking forward to dating a brilliant woman?

This was probably the best time a couple could have.

Catherine looked at the silhouette of Sean's face and lost herself. She was amazed at how perfect his face was.

"Do you want to eat something else?" asked Sean.

"Not really. I'm stuffed."

"You can't have too much junk food."

Catherine tried a lot of food streets earlier, and they tasted nice. But Sean classified them as junk food.

"I don't eat much junk food. I give myself a break because this is the first time I spent time at the night market with you."

Sean's eyes sparkled. Looking at her smile, he could feel something pouring out from his c.h.e.s.t as he grabbed her hands firmly. He c.a.r.e.s.sed her soft fingers and said, "I'll come with you whenever you want to do this again."

Catherine smiled, "Okay. It's a deal."

"Consider it my promise."

"You're so kind." Catherine suddenly tiptoed and kissed his lips. Then she ran away.

Sean smiled as he couldn't get happier. It was such a p.l.e.a.s.u.r.e to see her happy. Catherine was easily satisfied like a kid. She was so cute that he wanted to keep her in his arms for cherishing all his life. He barely accompanied her to go shopping. When they had dinner dates, they normally went home afterward. Sean had to say it was his negligence.

It turned out making her happy was so easy.

"I'm tired," Catherine looked at Sean, "Don't you get tired?"

Sean frowned, "Perhaps you should exercise often." He said so for good reasons. Catherine almost fainted in her military training. And she developed an apricot-induced allergy. Tonight, she was tired after only one or two hours of walking.

"I think I'm okay. I can run 800 miles. That's good."

"Who passed out earlier?"

"It's an accident."

"Do more exercising."

Sean had several bags. Compared to how weary Catherine looked, he was so refreshed and energetic. He bent over and said, "Get up."

"Are you carrying me?"

"Get up!"

Catherine got up and held his neck with both hands. His back was so warm and firm.

"I'll take the bags," Catherine said.

"Hold tight. I won't pick you up if you fall."

Sean carried Catherine and walked through the crowd, oblivions of their looks and keeping a calm face. Young couples looked at them with admiration. The girl complained to her boyfriend, "Look how considerate he is."The boy had to bend over to carry the girl.

Catherine grinned, "What a lovely couple."

"No need to envy what others have."

"I didn't. I think they're lovely. That's all."

"You're lovely too."

Catherine smiled, "Aren't I heavy?"

"You're all bony and barely weighs anything, honey."

"Okay. Then carry me for a bit long. I like it."

Sean held her more firmly and walked steadily.

"When we get old, promise me you'll not give up carrying me as you do."

"Your Highness."

"That's lovely, isn't it? The most romantic thing is we grow old together."Catherine started humming.

Sean paused and didn't say anything as he listened to her singing.

What is the most romantic thing?

Growing old together is.

Sean couldn't agree more.
