Chapter 699 - 24: He Had Plan

"You don't need to prepare dinner for her, I've got it already."

Stella walked into Angela's room with a thermos container in her hand. She was wearing casual clothing with a baseball cap on her head as if trying to conceal her identity, but Angela knew precisely who she was from her gait.

"What the f.u.c.k are you doing here?" Angela asked. She wanted to yell loudly at Stella, but she did not have any energy. Why did she not just leave her alone! Why were the Hills after her!?

"Oh, I heard from Abby that you got hurt, so I made chicken soup for you." Stella held out a thermos. "Consider this an apology for everything I have caused you." Stella looked at Angela apologetically.

Angela laughed out loud, almost maniacally. Was she stupid to believe her now, after Stella had tried to attack her twice!? Did she not get a hint the last two times?

"Why are you laughing?" Stella asked, smiling.

Angela looked at her quizzically. Was she insane? Seeing Stella's expression, Angela only felt disgusted, "I'm laughing because you still seem to think that we are a thing."

Stella simply laughed and looked at Hale, "You can leave now, I can take care of her." Stella said to Hale, pretending to look caring and concerned.

Hale had already heard the episodes that happened between Angelo and Stella, so he was curious why Stella Hill was here now.

"Are you sure, Ma'am? Mr. Thorne told me I was to stay with Mister Angelo. He did not notify me that you are coming?" Hale replied.

Stella simply waved her hand. "Yes, yes, don't worry. He knows I'm here."

Hale nodded and left the ward. If Drake knew she was here, then he guessed it was alright to leave Angelo. Hale turned around and left the room, missing the desperate look in Angela's eyes.

"Hale!" Angela called after her; however, she was already out the door.

"Angelo, you don't need her! I can take good care of you." Stella cooed to her while pulling a chair right near her bed on the injured side of Angela.

She opened the thermos container. Immediately, the smell of chicken soup blew out and enveloped the room. Angela had to admit it smelled quite delicious, but she was not about to fall into another trap.

"Angelo, I cooked it myself. Do you want to taste it?" Stella asked and pushed a spoon near her face.

Angela slapped the spoon away, which clattered on the floor loudly. The warm soup spilled everywhere, mostly on her hospital gown and a bit on Stella's clothes.

"What was that for?" Stella yelled.

"You are f.u.c.k.i.n.g delusional! Do you think I want your f.u.c.k.i.n.g soup? Well, here is a wake-up call for you! NO! I do not want anything from you! I do not want to see you! Just leave me…OW!" Angela was yelling at Stella when she felt a sharp pain shoot up her arm.

"Oh Gosh! Are you okay?" Stella put the soup down and started cuddling Angela, trying to put pillows underneath her arm. "Don't stress! You are still hurt! Here, just lie back down."

Angela nodded and laid back with the help of Stella. She had probably moved her arm while she was yelling.

"Angelo, I think you are under a misunderstanding. I really care for you, and everything I did was to have you." Stella gently touched Angela's arm.

"Stella, don't touch me!" Angela said sharply, without hiding her disgust. "I'm not into a scheming girl." Angela rolled her eyes and looked away towards the window finding Stella's actions weird.

Stella's eyes were furious. She had always gotten what she wanted; boys and girls fell over their feet for her, and here she was, offering herself to Angelo, and he was rejecting her!?

"Angelo, I do not really understand you. We make a great couple. If not a couple right now, why don't we start off as friends? We can be friends, right?"

Angela rolled her eyes again; she had a feeling her eyes would get stuck like that if she spent any more time with Stella.

"That could have been a possibility if you did not try to drug me!"

Stella sighed and looked away, dropping the subject for now. It was no use when Angelo was this riled up towards her.

"Hey, I meant to ask you, what is going on between you and Abby? Are you two friends?" Stella asked with genuine interest.

Angela was immediately alert when Abby's name came up. She knew Abby was not good news!

"What do you mean?" Angela asked.

Stella took out her phone and showed Angela a photo. The photo was taken when Abby had met Angela at the mall. In the photo, Abby and Angela could be seen talking as if they were old friends.

"Nothing – she recognized me and just wanted to talk." Angela kept it vague.

"Well, you should be careful. She is an evil one!" Stella replied.

Angela rolled her eyes and thought, you are the one to talk!

Suddenly Angela heard the sound of a picture being taken. She looked towards the door and saw a female in a nurse's uniform taking a picture of Stella and her with her cell phone.

"HEY!" Angela shouted, but it was of no use. The nurse ran off, already taking a picture of Stella sitting near Angela as if caring for her while injured.

Before long, the photo of Angela and Stella took in the hospital had circulated on various social media websites. Angela suspected that the nurse was paid off by someone to capture a photo of her. Once news got out, she was injured. She did not mind the photo that much if Stella had not been sitting beside her. She knew she would have to explain this one to Drake again.

"Stella, what's wrong with you? I am absolutely appalled by your behavior. The Thorne' have made it perfectly clear they do not want to be associated with us, yet you still hound Angelo again and again!?" Baron was irritated when he saw the photo. He had thrown his phone across the room, smashing it into the wall.

Stella looked up at her father with fear in her eyes. With the last issue about the party at Daisy's still unresolved, this was just a cherry on top. She knew that her father was extremely pedantic; if she did not give a reasonable explanation now, he would do something drastic rather than just grounding her.

"Dad, please listen to me. It was not my fault." Her eyes lit up a little, and tears dropped from her eyes. She was hoping the tears would make her dad pity her.

"Not your fault!? After the last two stunts, I absolutely believe it is YOUR fault! YOU should have protected yourself from this! Why are you blaming things on that Angelo boy? He's only eighteen!" Baron yelled back loudly. "Do you want our family to be ridiculed?"

"What did she do this time?" Nathan drawled as she strolled into the room. The sight of his father yelling at Stella was becoming an increasingly common sight.

Baron grunted and handed the photo to his son. "Look, she is with that Angelo boy again!"

Of course, Nathan had already seen that photo, and he agreed with their father that his sister was foolish to go after Angelo again.

But he had a plan.
