Chapter 707 - 32: Meeting Someone

As she spoke, her face grew more aggrieved, and Drake's heart grew more irritated, but his face remained cold.

He knew Angelo wanted to live here. Strangely, he didn't reject "him."

He thought about Angelo's words and nodded, which was a permission sign to her. She ran to a room and locked the door for fear that Drake would regret the decision.

Drake had suppressed the strange feeling and then walked into the bathroom. Thinking of the look of Angelo just now, he could not help frowning.

Angelo looked so weak, "he" needed more exercise, Drake thought.

Right now, Angelo didn't know what Drake was thinking. She held the pillow, thinking about how to please Drake.

Then the next day, when Angelo washed up and got dressed, she didn't find Drake. As she was wondering where he went, she found Absolon standing in the living room.

"Good morning, Mr. Angelo," Absolon greeted her.

Angelo nodded and then saw the breakfast, which was not eaten much, on the table.

Absolon asked someone to clear it up. Then he smiled awkwardly.

"Mr. Drake doesn't seem to like the food here."

While he was talking, a waiter served the same breakfast for Angelo. She ate some and had an idea.

There was a saying that the way to a man's heart is through his stomach. So, to please Drake, she had to feed his stomach well.

Angelo wiped her mouth with the napkin after eating the porridge and then said to Absolon, "You don't need to prepare dinner for us tonight."

"Wha…"

Absolon hesitated. After all, it was about Drake. And he was here to take care of him.

"I'll talk to him. Just do as I said."

Angelo knew why Absolon hesitated. She stood up, looking insistent. For so many years acting in her previous life, she learned to deal with things.

She never showed her momentum because she didn't want people to suspect her. But now she was abroad, she didn't need to keep low.

"Yes."

Absolon started to take the seriousness of Angelo and walked in front of her when she turned to leave.

"Anything else?"

Angelo now returned to the usual gentle look, which shocked Absolon even more.

He calmed himself down and respectfully said, "Mr. Drake wanted you to meet Miss Doris in the restaurant."

"Miss Doris?"

Angelo repeated the name and remembered that Drake mentioned it to her.

Knowing that Drake wanted her to go on a blind date, she had a wry smile.

Then she thought of her intention here and nodded.

"Mr. Angelo, these are the suits that Mr. Drake told me to prepare for you."

Absolon asked the waiter to bring two suits.

Drake did prepare everything well, Angelo thought.

She smiled helplessly. Since it was Drake's idea, she couldn't go against it. After the change, Absolon led her to the restaurant.

Angelo looked around and was shocked. The whole restaurant was decorated with gold, even the backs of the chairs were covered in gold.

According to Absolon, Doris chose to meet here. As a woman, Angelo could tell what Doris was thinking. She smiled. It seemed that Doris didn't want to go on a blind date.

She walked to her. As soon as she sat down opposite, Doris said, "I guess you already know who I am, the only daughter of the CEO of the Taylor group. I'm Doris. But I'm not interested in boys, so you can leave now. Sorry."

"Yeah," Angelo answered and was about to leave.

She didn't want to meet Doris anyway. She was forced to come here. So, she was glad that it ended so quickly.

However, Doris didn't expect the answer and looked up at Angelo.

As soon as she saw "his" face, she was attracted by the pretty face and clean temperament.

She had always thought she liked women, but now she fell in love with Angelo at first sight. As she watched "him" walk away, she grabbed her bag from the table and followed up.

"Wait!"

"What?"

To be honest, Angelo admired such a straightforward girl. She stopped and turned to look at Doris.

Of course, if she had known what Doris was thinking, she wouldn't have stopped.

Now, the sunshine spread on Angelo's face.

Looking at "him," Doris felt her heart almost jump out of her c.h.e.s.t.

"May I know your name?"

Doris restrained the throbbing of her heart, she watched Angelo gingerly.

Hearing Doris's words, Angelo believed that Doris wasn't interested in a blind date and said, "I'm Angelo. How about we make friends?"

"Yeah."

Doris held out to shook hands with Angelo. When she felt the warm touch, her face blushed.

Then, Angelo didn't plan to linger. She had to prepare dinner to please Drake tonight.

She turned to leave, but when she got downstairs, she found Absolon had already left. She thought about it, took out the business card from her pocket, and dialed the number on it.

"Mr. Drake said you have to spend the whole day with Miss Doris."

As soon as Absolon finished speaking, he hung up.

Angelo was so furious that she stomped her foot.

"What's wrong?" Asked Doris, who had been following Angelo, with a hint of coyness in her voice, but Angelo was angry and didn't notice that.

"The driver has left. I'm afraid I can't go back."

Angelo said in a low voice. She knew clearly what Drake could do. Even if she got back to the hotel, she would have been shut out.

She thought it through and walked along the street. She had nothing to do right now, so she could just enjoy the exotic scenery.

Doris had been following Angelo, regretting choosing the bad restaurant and leaving a bad impression on Angelo.

She told one of her friends about it and asked for advice when she saw Angelo enter a bar.

Hurriedly, she put the phone into her bag, followed up, and dragged Angelo's hand.

"What are you doing in a bar, Angelo?"

"I thought it's a game center."

Angelo found that it was a bar after she heard Doris's question. She took it wrong because the bar applied the game theme.
