Chapter 716 - 41: First Day At College

"Mr. Drake has left," Hale answered.

Hearing that, Angelo noticed something, but she continued to ask, "Don't he climb mountains with me today?"

"Mr. Drake has canceled all your training."

"Oh." She was surprised hearing Hale's answer.

Angelo finished her porridge and gave a self-deprecating smile, thinking that she was given up by Drake.

Hale had heard of what happened yesterday. He sighed helplessly and then remembered Drake's words.

"Mr. Drake asked you to prepare for your school," Hale added.

Angelo then realized that she was still in college and the school would start three days later.

"Yeah, I see."

Angelo forced a smile as she spoke. Then she wiped her mouth and went upstairs to her room. After closing the door, she started to recall Angelo's college life.

The college she attended was a business school, in other words, a school for the children of the top people in Boom.

The previous Angelo used to be weak and autistic. In the university, she had no friends except Daisy. Angelo grew attached to Daisy, and they became best friends.

Because of her unsatisfactory grades, she suffered bullies from other rich kids, especially from a group of four boys.

"It seems that I will have a 'wonderful' college life!" Angelo mocked.

She could imagine how she would be treated at school.

But she wasn't that weak, Angelo anymore. She looked forward to her college life.

For three days, Angelo didn't see Drake, and she was disappointed but her expectation of college life kind of suppressed her bad mood.

"We are here, Mr. Angelo."

"Yeah."

Angelo got off the car and looked at the familiar and strange college with expectations full of her heart.

Hale had asked someone to deliver her luggage to her dormitory, so Angelo just took a few books.

As soon as she entered the school gate, she saw the four people who used to bully her. The previous Angelo would try to avoid them in this situation, but the soul inside the body was changed, and the present Angelo would not do that.

She walked right past them. The four people's eyes lit up as soon as they saw her. Quickly, they stopped in front of her.

"I didn't expect you to come to this school. If I got the last place in the exam, I would have quit."

People around laughed when they heard that, which made the four boys more arrogant.

One of them scolded in Japanese, "You are just a dog adopted by the Thorne. So don't act arrogant. You don't have any power to be a part of elite society,"

Some people who understood the Japanese translated his words, which attracted more people.

"You don't understand, do you?" the boy said defiantly.

People around burst into laughter. They were used to making fun of Angelo, who was timid and weak.

"What's happening there?"

Doris saw the crowd and was curious. She didn't study at this university before. But now she transferred here for Angelo.

"Angelo must be bullied again."

A girl who led the way for Doris said at once. She had seen this a lot of times before.

"Are you sure?" Doris asked.

She didn't expect to hear Angelo's name now. The girl nodded and told her all the stories about Angelo being bullied.

"F.u.c.k!"

Doris was in a great rage when she heard that. Although the person the girl described wasn't like the one she knew at all, she felt a pang when she heard that "he" had been bullied.

"What are you doing, Doris? We haven't finished visiting the campus yet."

Seeing Doris walking to the crowd, the girl was surprised and hurried to follow up.

Doris squeezed in and heard the four boys taunt Angelo in four Languages. Angelo, however, held books with a smile, looking like she didn't understand them.

Doris went abroad a lot and was proficient in the four languages, so she knew what they were talking about. She clenched her fists and was about to fight for Angelo when she heard Angelo's clear voice.

"Shut up! You are disgusting!"

It was standard French. Everyone was surprised to hear that.

The four boys wanted to refute when Angelo continued to curse in Italian, which was interpreted by some Italian majors.

Then Angelo spoke in Japanese, and some people interpreted her words at once. Once Angelo spoke in a kind of language, people would interpret it.

It looked like the crowd was scolding the four boys. Angelo didn't stop until they were speechless.

"Angelo used eight languages to scold them!" Doris shouted in surprise.

The crowd tried to recall Angelo's words, and someone named the languages.

"Right, eight languages."

When they were sure about it, they changed their views about Angelo because not everyone could speak eight languages.

At this moment, Angelo smiled. She looked at the four boys and provoked them in French.

"Even I feel sorry for you. People around had scolded you three or four times."

Again, these words were interpreted. The four boys didn't know how to retort.

Seeing their embarrassed look, Angelo mocked with a smile, "I'm looking forward to hearing your retort in eight languages."

Now, confidence was full of Angelo's face, and she looked glamorous. Girls around screamed, saying that Angelo was cool. Doris had more admiration for Angelo.

The four boys looked embarrassed. They looked at Angelo with anger.

"In front of our fists, it's useless to know eight languages. Beat him, boys!"

As the leader of the group dropped his words, the four men raised their fists at Angelo.

"Be careful!" Doris shouted.

Angelo noticed the moves of the four boys and instinctively blocked their attack. Then she kicked one boy onto the ground.

"Karate!" someone exclaimed.

Angelo stepped forward and kicked at one boy. Then she turned around and punched a boy in the face.

Then there was only one boy standing. He looked at his companions on the ground and took a few steps back. Just then, Angelo postured to kick him, and he just turned to run away.

"What a shame!" People ridiculed.

Angelo picked up her books from the ground and walked away.
