Chapter 725 - 50: Saving Him

"Thanks to my one month's training in karate, I can do this."

Looking at the crack in the window, Angelo wiped the sweat off her face. The window was good. If it weren't for her physical training these days, she wouldn't be able to break it.

With one hard stroke, there was a hole in the window. Evaluating the size of it, Angelo reached through the window and opened the door from the inside.

The broken glass cut her hand, but she just ignored it. Her mind runs wild, thinking there's something wrong with Drake, and she needed to save him.

"Look! Your hand is bleeding, Angelo."

Daisy was stunned and couldn't help covering her mouth with her hand. The cut might leave a scar, which was a bad thing for any girl.

"It's all right." She assured her best friend and ignored the slight pain that suddenly disturbed her concentration.

Angelo shook her head, trying to make Daisy relax. Then she opened the door, hugged Drake, and took him out.

"Oh, god! He's heavy!" Angelo complained.

After one month of training, she gained more strength. Otherwise, she would not be able to carry Drake out.

When she lay Drake on the ground, Daisy took her bag and put it under Drake's head. Then Daisy waved in front of Drake's face, "Mr. Drake? Hey, Mr. Drake, are you okay? Please don't scare us,"

Drake didn't even move. Daisy panicked, "Is he dead? What should we do now?"

Hearing that, Angelo got nervous too. She lowered her head to check Drake and felt his breath with her hand.

"No, he doesn't. Stop thinking something bad that won't help him,"

Feeling Drake's faint breath, Angelo's face grew heavy. Then she pulled his shirt collar open.

"Daisy, ask when the ambulance will arrive?"

After saying that, she started to check Drake carefully under the car light. Then she saw the red rashes on Drake's neck.

She unbuttoned Drake's shirt, and when she saw the red rashes over his body, she was sure that he had fainted from food poisoning.

Because she had suffered that, and her symptoms were like this.

"They will arrive in an hour. Calm down, will you?" A trembling voice rang out from Daisy; obviously, she's scared too.

Daisy said after hanging up and looked at Drake with concern.

Angelo got anxious. She had to give Drake some first aid, or he would die before the ambulance arrived.

She tried to remember the first aid methods for food poisoning, but she failed. After all, she was the one being saved then.

"All right. I have to give it a try."

Angelo took a deep breath. Thinking about the usual first aid methods, she picked Drake's hand up, found the Hegu acupoint, and pressed it hard for three minutes.

She did this a dozen times, but Drake didn't get better. She thought about it and tried some other ways, but none of them worked.

Now there was the last method. Angelo looked at Daisy, "Can you do CPR?"

"No. I didn't listen carefully in class. You.... you better do it, since he's your eldest brother," Daisy said apologetically.

She just focused on getting Darren a birthday gift rather than listening carefully.

"Then google it for me."

With that, Angelo laid down Drake. She attended the class but didn't remember the details clearly.

Daisy googled it and then read it to Angelo, who did as she said.

"Press one hundred times per minute. And you need to do it for five minutes. Then it's the mouth-to-mouth resuscitation."

Pressing Drake's c.h.e.s.t, Angelo couldn't help looking at his lips, which were thin but attractive, making his face look cool.

When Angelo heard "mouth-to-mouth resuscitation," she turned her head away. For some reason, she felt her heart beat faster, and her face blushed. Luckily, it was dark, and Daisy didn't see her face.

"Next, open the airway. You need to loosen his collar."

Following Daisy's instructions, Angelo pulled Drake's collar wide open and then started to check if there were things in his mouth.

"Then it's the mouth-to-mouth resuscitation. It would be best if you lay him flat on the ground. Then…"

Angelo looked at Drake, who was lying straight on the ground, then she pinched his cheek and pressed her mouth on his.

After giving him her breath, she took another deep breath and repeated the move. Her face, however, was burned.

It was her first kiss. She had never kissed anybody either when she was Angela or Angelo. Although she was an actress, she didn't kiss anyone when shooting kissing scenes. And Nathan was just her boyfriend in the name. They never kissed.

After repeating the actions, again and again, Angelo was used to it.

Once when she took a breath, Drake's eyes twitched. As she approached him, he slowly opened his eyes. But after a glance, he lost his consciousness and closed his eyes.

Neither of the girls noticed that. Angelo was busy repeating the breathing.

"The ambulance is here," Daisy roared.

An ambulance was visible from a distance as a siren sounded.

Angelo stopped. She took a cautious look at Drake, then slowly buttoned up Drake's clothes as the ambulance arrived.

"Excuse me!"

Several nurses got out of the car and rushed Drake to the ambulance on a stretcher.

Angelo handed the car key to Daisy, "Daisy, I have to be with my brother."

Then she got on the ambulance.

Looking at her back, Daisy gave a complex look.

Angelo was still wearing the dress. She would be recognized by the Thorne.

Suddenly she thought of something and texted Angelo a message.

"Don't forget the French speech contest at eight a.m."

When she sat in the driver's seat, she found Angelo's phone.

She shook her head with a smile and drove to the school. After the incident just now, she had no mind thinking about other things and wasn't scared anymore.

In the hospital

Looking at the red light of the emergency room, Angelo knew it was the best time for her to leave, but her feet were heavy like iron.
