Chapter 742 - 67: Where Are You Going?

Angelo quivered when she heard Drake's determined voice, but she then thought of the danger of being exposed. Finally, she closed her eyes and bit Drake hard on the arm.

Sensing the pain, Drake was surprised. He had never seen Angelo like this. Somehow, he was pleased and smiled but didn't lose his arms.

Angelo struggled for a while but failed, with despair filled in her eyes.

When Drake put her on the passenger seat, her eyes lit up. She took the chance of Drake opening the driver's seat to open the door to get out.

But before she could get out of the car, a pair of strong arms held her. She turned around to see Drake's cold face and swallowed.

"Fasten your seat belt," Drake said firmly.

Angelo looked at the safety belt and slowly reached for it. Just when Drake relaxed his invigilance, she opened the door and got out of the car.

"I don't know you. I won't go to any hospital," Angelo shouted, running towards the gate. She only thought about one thing: go to Daisy and think of an idea.

"Where are you going? I told you I'm your brother. Can't you trust me at all? What's going on with you?"

Angelo bumped on Drake. She looked up with surprise. Drake should be in the car, she thought.

"I don't know you," she repeated.

Since she was determined to pretend that she didn't remember anything, she would not admit anything, let alone going to the hospital.

"What are you doing, brother?"

Drake picked Angelo up, which indeed startled Angelo. She shouted and hammered hard at Drake's shoulder, but it was in vain.

Drake, however, smiled when he heard "him." Even if he lost her memory, she remembered him, he thought.

But the thing was, he had exclaimed himself to be "his" brother twice, so Angelo decided to call him brother.

"Let's go to the hospital," said Drake, placing Angelo on the passenger seat. Then he lowered his head to fasten the safety belt for him.

Looking at his handsome face, Angelo was in a daze. She couldn't help thinking of how she kissed Drake last night. If she was discovered to be one person at once, she was doomed.

While she was thinking, Drake had sat well and fastened his belt.

Angelo gave a sad face when she felt the cold wind. Alas, she lost her opportunity because of Drake's good appearance.

At this point, Drake gave Angelo a look and then started the car roof. Angelo looked at him and was touched.

"Here we are. Get off."

Drake got out of the car as he spoke and then looked at Angelo.

"No, I won't."

Angelo gripped her seat belt as she glanced around the hospital. She looked scared. She didn't want to have an X-ray examination.

Seeing her like this, Drake thought she was scared of the hospital.

Angelo was like a little kid when he lost his memory, Drake thought and smiled.

Angelo observed Drake's face and thought there might be a chance. She held the belt tightly and then begged in a low voice, "I don't want to go to the hospital. Let's go home, brother."

There was longing full of Angelo's big eyes. Looking at the eyes, Drake felt his heart softened. He wondered if Angelo was peevish.

He walked to Angelo and rubbed his head. Then he turned his head away and said awkwardly, "The hospital is not scary. I'm with you. It's just a little examination."

He tried to be tender, but the words still sounded stiff.

Angelo was stunned. She didn't expect Drake to soothe her. Somehow, tears filled in her eyes.

From her previous life to now, it was the first time she sensed the care from a family. Lawrence shed tears at the thought.

However, Drake was panicked when he saw Angelo cry. Confusedly, he wiped the tears from Angelo's face.

"Don't worry, Angelo. Brother will protect you," Drake comforted Angelo.

When Drake was sad as a little boy, his mother comforted him like this. So, he said the same thing to Angelo.

The words sounded childish, but Angelo was touched. She wiped her tears and smiled.

Seeing Angelo calming down, Drake withdrew his hand. He looked away and said in a low voice, "Get off. You should have a check-up."

It reminded Angelo of her purpose here. She pathetically looked at Drake.

"I don't want to, brother."

Drake's heart softened when he saw Angelo like this. But he couldn't rest assured before finding out why Angelo lost "his" memory.

But Angelo would not get out of the car. Drake knew he had to figure out an idea. His eyes darkened, then he knocked on the car window and said, "Then let's go to the company. Get off."

"Really?"

Angelo stared at Drake, who nodded and then looked away.

She then loosened her belt and got out of the car. Cautiously, she walked to Drake. After making sure that Drake wouldn't take her to the hospital, she was relieved.

At this point, Drake picked her up and walked to the hospital.

Angelo struggled to get down and shouted, "Drake, you lie to me!"

Drake was a shareholder of the hospital. His move stunned people in the hospital, and everyone looked at them.

Angelo blushed when she noticed the gaze from the crowd. Thinking of her identity as a man now, her face was burning.

Drake, however, looked indifferent.

Angelo was so embarrassed that she gritted and said angrily, "Put me down, Drake. I will go to the hospital."

Drake looked incredulously at Angelo, who kept nodding. The doctor couldn't do anything to her if she insisted that she had forgotten everything after the check-up.

Drake put Angelo down and coldly glanced over the crowd, who hurriedly withdrew.

Thinking of her being held by Drake, Angelo felt awkward. She touched her burning face and then glared at Drake.

Sure enough, she was far from Drake; for example, he never cared what other people thought about him, Angelo thought.

But if she looked at Drake, she could find that his ear was red.
