Chapter 756 - 81: Do You Have Any Proof?

Angelo got anxious when she heard that. She looked at Daisy, who just drank her coffee casually.

Seeing that, Angelo understood that she had to beg her to say it. Then she shook Daisy's hand and played the coquetry, "I know you are the best, Daisy. Just tell me, all right?"

Daisy couldn't help laughing at Angelo, thinking that Angelo was most lovely when she played the coquetry.

"Fine. All right."

Then, she got rid of Angelo's hand, put the cup on the table and gave an arrogant look.

"Since you begged me, I'll tell you. It's said that more than ten years ago, someone saw Watts's' present host drug, the previous one, just like what you told me before."

Daisy's words proved Angelo's guess. So, it meant that Angelo, the previous owner of this body, was the real host of the Watts.

"Do you have any proof?"

Hearing that, Daisy shook her head. She thought about Angelo's guess. But with so many years passed, it was tough to collect any evidence now, and even Darren couldn't do it.

"Are you the daughter of the real host of the Watts's?" Daisy asked.

When she saw Angelo's Adam's apple, she believed Angelo's grandpa couldn't be normal. Since everything was clear now, she just couldn't believe it.

"Probably."

Angelo sipped her coffee to cover her complex eyes.

When she lived as Angela, she was killed by the present Watts. Now she lived as Angelo, whose death was also related to the Watts's.

Maybe it was destiny. If so, Angelo would take revenge for them both.

"Are you all right, Angelo?"

Daisy sensed the change in Angelo and got worried. She waved her hand in front of Angelo.

"I'm fine. I wondered if there's any other clue."

Angelo came back to herself and gave Daisy a comforting smile.

Daisy was sad to see her like that, "Don't worry. I'll help you."

With that, she turned and hugged Angelo. Angelo was so touched that she held Daisy tightly and nodded lightly.

"I'm so glad to have you," said Angelo and closed her eyes.

The scene looked so beautiful.

"Angelo!" a cold voice suddenly sounded.

Angelo let go of Daisy. When she turned, she saw Drake, who didn't look happy at all.

"Brother."

She forced a smile and thought she would be in trouble. Drake didn't allow the boys of the Thorne to bring any girl home. As she thought of how Drake punished Patrick, she trembled.

"Well, I have to go."

Sensing the cold aura of Drake, Daisy chose to leave at once.

Looking at the back of Daisy, Angelo felt aggrieved for her.

Then, Drake walked to her and sat opposite her.

"Have a coffee, brother."

Hurriedly, Angelo picked up a cup of coffee with a flattering smile. Drake took it over and put it on the table.

Seeing that, Angelo broke her smile.

"Go to the company to help tomorrow," Drake ordered.

Angelo was stunned when she heard that. Didn't Drake punish her? She was puzzled.

From her face, Drake guessed what she was thinking about and smiled.

When Angelo saw the smile, she was finally relieved and started to think about Drake's words.

"What can I do at the company, Drake?"

"Be my secretary."

Angelo's face froze at this answer, given that secretaries were usually women and that she was now a "man."

"I don't think it's a good idea, Drake. You have a secretary, don't you?"

"Do you have any problems with it?"

Drake coldly glanced at Angelo, who quickly gave an obedient look and shook her head.

"No, I don't."

Drake got better when he saw Angelo like this. He picked up the cup and took a sip. Then he went upstairs.

When Drake disappeared in Angelo's sight, "male secretary," Angelo muttered with a sad face, knocking on the cup with her fingers.

She could already imagine how people in the company laughed at her. The more she thought about it, the sadder she felt.

Just then, her phone rang. When she saw it was from Daisy, she answered.

"Angelo, is Drake beside you?"

"He's upstairs. What's wrong?"

It wasn't a good tone. Hearing that, Daisy laughed.

"I'll apologize to you with a surprise later. Remember to answer the call from a stranger later."

"Stranger? What… Hello?"

Before Angelo could finish her words, Daisy hung up. Thinking of her quirky nature, Angelo felt helpless.

She stuffed her phone into her pocket, thought about it, and went back to her room. When she locked the door, she stayed there waiting for the call from the "stranger."

Daisy said it was a surprise, so Angelo kind of looked forward to it. But as time passed, her phone didn't ring.

Finally, she ran out of her patience and took the phone to call Daisy.

The phone was answered soon. Angelo heard some noisy sound.

"Daisy, who will call me?"

"You haven't got it? It can't be."

Daisy was puzzled by Angelo's words. By this time, Angelo should have received the call.

"Who is it? Just tell me, or I won't answer it."

With that, Angelo held the pillow in her arms when a male voice sounded. She could tell that it was Darren.

"I told you it's a surprise. There's no fun if I tell you. Anyway, you'll regret it if you don't answer. I have to hang up now."

Hearing the "beep," Angelo frowned, thinking that Daisy indeed valued Darren more than her.

Then, her phone rang again. Angelo took it and saw an unknown number. She thought of Daisy's words just now and got angry.

Without hesitation, she declined the call. Then, the number called again, Angelo declined it again.

She thought there would be a third call. But she waited for a while, and there was nothing. That was indeed not a sincere surprise, she thought.

So, she threw her phone aside and laid on the bed. With her eyes closed, she kept thinking about Daisy's words.

"Ahh…" she roared and scratched her hair.

Finally, she succ.u.mbed to her curiosity. She sat up and took her phone.
