Chapter 793 - 118: Think About It, Girl

Feeling the hotness from Angelo's forehead, he wondered whether Angelo was sick because of the wine.

"I'll take you to the hospital," he said.

Angelo shook her head. She knew she drank too much and was kind of drunk now, which wasn't a bad thing to her because she could do what she didn't dare to do. So, she grabbed Drake's hand, "I don't go to the hospital, Drake," she mumbled.

Drake was shocked and quickly withdrew his hand when Angelo suddenly rushed to him. Under the influence of the alcohol, she wrapped herself tightly around Drake's waist.

Being held by the soft body, Drake felt burning all over his body. Then he picked Angelo up and put her on the bed when he saw the suit Angelo was wearing, and it was like a needle that pinched him in the eyes.

He sobered up and tried to get up, but Angelo tightly held around his neck and suppressed him on the bed.

The minute Angelo's lips touched his, he couldn't control himself anymore. He gently bit her lips, and she became more enthusiastic.

But soon, Drake became the leader and slowly s.u.c.k.e.d all the air out of Angelo's mouth.

After the kiss, Angelo felt exhausted. When she opened her eyes, she saw Drake's face and couldn't help smiling.

Looking at the flushed face, Drake couldn't hold the impulse inside his body. He lowered his head to bite her lips gently, and his eyes looked enchanted.

When his hands reached for Angelo's body, he touched the button of the suit. He then realized what he was doing.

Looking at Angelo's throat, he pushed her away, stepped back, and then opened the door to walk out.

Angelo was confused at Drake's sudden leave. But thinking of the kiss, she couldn't help smiling.

She took over the pillow and held it tight in her arms. Maybe because of the wine, she soon fell asleep.

The door of Drake's bedroom was closed. Inside the room, Drake clenched his fists tightly. He was so regretted when he thought of how he kissed Angelo just now.

And his body had been warning him that he loved Angelo, who, however, was a man, his nominal brother. How could he do that?

The more he thought about it, the more irritated he felt. Angrily, he slammed the wine on the ground. The sound of the glass breaking soothed his mood.

After a while, he finally calmed down. He picked up his suit and walked out.

"Where are you going, sir?" asked Hale when he saw Drake was about to drive.

"I have to handle some business. I won't be back these days."

As soon as he finished his words, he stepped on the accelerator and left the house.

Hale was puzzled. He had never seen Drake being so hasty, but he didn't think much about it.

As time passed, Angelo woke up. She stretched herself. Then, memories of her drunkness came back.

Thinking of the kiss, "F.u.c.k! I am a man now," Angelo regretted. She was so worried that she ran to Drake's room as soon as she got her shoes on.

When she arrived, Hale was cleaning the mess on the ground. She could tell that it was the wine she used to drink.

"Where's Drake?" she asked gently but already had an answer in her heart.

"He went out for business."

Hearing Hale, Angelo seemed to understand something. She felt a little lost, nodded, and back to her room.

After hesitating for a while, she called Daisy and told her about the whole story.

"You mean you were drunk and then kissed Drake. After that, he broke the wine bottle and ran away, right?" said Daisy in surprise.

"Yeah. I'm a fool, am I? He must have left because he hated me." Angelo felt much more frustrated with the loss full of her face.

However, Daisy laughed, "Oh, my silly girl. You've never been in love, and there's something you don't know. His actions just proved his love for you."

Angelo's eyes lit up at Daisy's words. But then she thought of something. She fumbled the pillow and said in a bitter tone, "Stop kidding me, Daisy. He left because of this. He must hate me."

Daisy showed a helpless expression. Sure enough, women in love were fools.

She pinched her phone between her ear and shoulder and slowly explained to her as she painted her nails, "Think about it, girl. You are a man now. He must be uncomfortable after kissing you, so he ran away, which happened to prove that he loves you. Understand, fool?"

Hearing Daisy, Angelo was still not quite clear. She didn't get Daisy's theory but learned one thing from her words.

"You mean if I was then a woman, he wouldn't have left, right?"

"Of course. Remember he used to confess his love for you?"

Angelo then remembered the love confession at Green. She had an idea and decided to pursue Drake as Angeline.

Drake would accept her then, she thought and then blushed.

"Thank you, honey," with that, and she hung up.

Daisy was confused at the sudden change, "All right. I should go on a date."

She didn't know what was going on, so she just forgot about it. Looking at her fingers, she was quite satisfied. Then she picked up her bag and walked out.

"Dinner's ready, sir," Hale woke Angelo up. She was finally sober. After a brief wash, she came to the dining room.

She waited for a while but still didn't see Drake. She was confused. Drake should be back from work now.

"Where's Drake?" she asked.

"He said he would be back some days later."

"All right," replied Angelo casually but looking disappointed.

She ate something and then went back to her room. Hale's room sounded in her mind, and she smiled bitterly.

She had never heard of any important business issues these days. Besides, no matter how busy Drake used to be, he would come home for dinner. It was kind of a tradition in the Thorne family.
