Chapter 891 - 216: Why Am I In Your Room?

On the big soft bed, Drake was so distracted that he didn't even mind that the person below him was looking like a "man."

He ripped Angelo's shirt off, and when his blurred eyes noticed the tightly wrapped white band around Angelo's c.h.e.s.t, a lot of things suddenly connected in his mind.

Why had he never seen Angeline appear with Angelo? Why did Angeline had such a strange attitude towards him? Why was Angeline hostile to Christina? Why did Angelo ask to move out?

Drake's hand froze there. His whole body froze above Angelo. His eyes dazzled. Somehow, the girl beneath him had fallen asleep with her eyes closed. And her delicate face still tinged with drunkenness and crimson.

Drake got up from the bed and walked to the window. Looking at the dark night, he wasn't sure if he was happy or mad, or there were too many emotions complexed together that he didn't know how to respond.

In the night, there was a slight laugh. Drake stayed for a second before realizing that it was from him. After a short pause, he suddenly burst into a loud laugh, full of p.l.e.a.s.u.r.e.

***

Oh, it hurts! My head is so heavy!

The first act Angeline had after waking up was to cover her temples. Then, she slowly opened her eyes and stared at the ceiling. After a while, she started to realize something.

Why was there someone else's breath? Stiffly, Angeline turned her head. When she saw Drake's handsome profile, she let out a scream and rolled out of bed, followed by another scream.

Being disturbed, Drake frowned and sat up. Seeing the confused person on the ground, he asked in a calm voice, "You wake up?"

Subconsciously, Angeline reached out to cover her c.h.e.s.t. But somehow, she felt that it was not right. She bowed her head and quickly glanced over her clothes. It was still her clothes. She was relieved.

"Well, Drake. Why am I in your room?"

Drake had got off the bed, and he didn't shy away from being shirtless. He walked over to Angeline and pulled her to her feet. "You came back drunk yesterday and insisted on sleeping with me, so I had no choice but to bring you here."

The b.a.r.e flesh was less than ten centimeters away from Angeline's face. She felt that she was about to burn. When she heard Drake's words, she felt a bolt of light struck her, making her couldn't talk well.

"Really? Are you joking, Drake? How… how could I do that?"

As Angeline said, she retreated back a little, then more. She didn't want to have a bleeding nose in the morning!

Seeing her anxious look, Drake felt much better and even though it was funny. She turned around to get dressed.

"You were drunk last night. Whatever you want to say."

Angeline stayed. Why did she feel like being an irresponsible playboy?

While she was embarrassed to escape, there was a hurried knock on the door.

"Sir, some people of the Watts family come. I can't stop them." It was Hale's voice.

Angeline and Drake quickly prepared themselves and came out. Those people had already rushed to the living room. When Angeline saw them, her pupils constricted. She tried to calm down and stand straight to look at them.

The leading man was Ken Watts, seniority of the older generation. He was of age. Now he just led some other elders here. Angeline didn't think they come for something good.

Suddenly, Drake walked to Angeline and blocked her with his huge body, which also blocked the gaze from those people.

"How dare you break in here?" Drake's voice was quite cold. The look in his eyes was impatient and ruthless.

Ken was in the front of the crowd. Seeing Drake's look, he couldn't help retreat. But when he thought the truth he got, he became tough again, "Drake, I come to make a deal with you."

Drake stared at him, "I don't think you're qualified to make a deal with me."

Ken's face blackened, "Well, you don't know the true identity of the person behind you, do you?"

His words confirmed Angeline's worry. Her body started to tremble and become cold. She didn't dare to look at Drake.

"Shut up!" Drake shouted, scaring those people,  and retreated a few steps back.

What a humiliation to Ken! He plucked up and said, "The real Angelo had already died. The person behind you is his twin sister, Angeline!"

"As I know, Angeline is an actress. I heard she even won an award, didn't she? Do you really think she can still work in showbiz if the world knows about it?" continued Ken.

In the end, he got the courage and looked at Drake contemptuously. All of a sudden, Drake came to him and grabbed his collar. Instantly, Ken had a sense of suffocation.

"I asked you to shut up, didn't you hear me?" The killing aura spread from Drake's body. The look in his eyes was so harsh that it seemed to cut the man into pieces.

Ken felt the pain in his c.h.e.s.t. While he thought he would suffocate to death, he finally got free.

Drake looked at the tangled Watts family members and coldly said to Hale, "Kick them out now!" Then, several people came and carried them out.

The room was back in silence again. Drake turned around and saw Angeline curled up in the corner of the sofa. She buried her head on her knees, and her body was trembling.

Seeing that, Drake was worried and strode over. While he was about to reach Angeline, "Don't come over!" Angeline talked to stop him.

Drake stopped. The look in his eyes was complex. After a while, he heard Angeline's cry, "Sorry. I didn't mean to lie to you. I… I just… I don't know how to tell you."

While talking, Angeline still kept her head low. She felt guilty. Besides, she didn't know how to face Drake? As Angelo or Angeline?

"Angeline… You're you, no matter what your name is. You're the one I love. It's always you." Drake got down on one knee and held Angeline's thin shoulder.

Angeline froze there. Slowly, she raised her head and said in disbelief, "What… what did you say?"
