Ji Yuan immediately grinned and said. "Follow me!"

"I really hope that you know where you are leading us. I don't want to die in this place with you." She called out after him.

"Isn't that good? We can die as a couple. Haha." Ji Yuan laughed it off.

As Ji Yuan was walking ahead, he failed to notice that Shui Qingqing was flushing shyly and she was pursing her lips.

She muttered almost incoherently. "You're too shameless. Who wants to be a couple with you…"

Before long, they had reached a large cavern with white stone walls. There was a strong killing malevolent air in this cavern and they saw dozens of golden skeletons, presumably the skeleton remains of the golden celestials that were killed in this place.

At the end of this cavern were another eight more passages.

"Watch out, my lord." Bai Qianfeng divine whispered into his ears.

Ji Yuan instinctively lifted his sword and had blocked off a flying profound energies that was suddenly generated from the middle of the cavern. So sudden and strong was this flying profound energies that he was forced to take three steps back.

He was slightly startled that his sword arm was trembling hard after the surprise profound energies attack. This was quite a strong profound energies attack and he dread to think what would happen if it hit them.

Shui Qingqing was startled as she gasped when 'Li Yuan' had blocked the surprise attack for her. "Thank you...I didn't see it coming…"

Ji Yuan grinned. "Just follow me tight and walk behind me. One wrong step and we will trigger a trap in this place. This place has a hidden killing array."

Shui Qingqing muttered, "Li Yuan, we are pretty lucky so far. I have a bad feeling about this place. Why don't we turn back now?"

Ji Yuan grinned. "Don't worry. Follow me."

"Trust me." He said as he walked toward the third passage that was in this cavern.

Shui Qingqing nodded nervously.

Shui Qingqing hurried her pace to grab him by his arm as she shyly said. "I believe in you…"

Actually Ji Yuan did not know where the traps' trigger points were at; he was actually following Bai Qianfeng's precise direction to avoid the deadly traps.

Soon they had entered the third passage and had entered inside. The walls of this passage were white and were even more complicated with many treacherous pitfalls and misleading dead ends.

As these winding passages were not part of any arrays, Bai Qianfeng was not able to give Ji Yuan any help. Therefore Ji Yuan could only rely on his good sense of direction to find a way through. But at least this passage was the 'life gate' and they were not in any imminent dangers.

Even so, they could still feel the drain of their profound energies as they were now inside a massive formation array.

After several hours of exploring, they had come into another cavern that had eight shimmering portals.

"Which portal should we pick?" Shui Qingqing started to look at Ji Yuan and her eyes were full of idolatry.

This time even Bai Qianfeng had hesitated for a while before she pointed her paw at the seventh portal.

She divined whispered to Ji Yuan, "This place has a star shifting array. If I am not wrong, we will soon reach the array center."

Ji Yuan nodded before he smiled to Shui Qingqing, "Follow me!"

Shui Qingqing was totally lost now and she dutifully followed him. "I am afraid…"

The shimmering portal soon took them to another cavern.

In the middle of the cavern was a bright array and a beautiful silver long sword could be seen levitating in the array center. This beautiful silver long sword had a beautiful winged dragon adorned along its hilt.

Scattered around the cavern were dozens of broken golden skeletons.

They soon probed the silver sword with their divine senses and were startled to exclaim at the same time. "This is a full step celestial sword…"

Ji Yuan sighed softly. "All of them must have perished trying to obtain this celestial sword."

Shui Qingqing nodded, "Men are always greedy to obtain treasures beyond their ability to handle."

Ji Yuan frowned. "Women as well. Who taught you all these?"

After Ji Yuan had brandished his celestial sword, he took a last look at Bai Qianfeng as he said silently. "I have never forgotten that I have promised to do three things for you."

When Shui Qingqing saw that Li Yuan had turned back to take a look, she was flushed. It was because she had misunderstood that he was going to obtain the celestial sword for her sake.
