Ji Yuan had a most sheepish look as he walked with the party to the location where the trial entrance of the fourth level could be found.

He was not the only one.

Shui Xisi was also looking sheepish at the same time.

"Wait for me!" Shui Xisi shouted after him before she chuckled softly to the rest. "Someone has to keep an eye over him."

She did not want to be left behind because she was now sharing the same awkwardness as Ji Yuan. For now she had lost her pride as a lofty great saintess and the matriarch of the Water Melody Palace; in her mind, she was just a maiden that had fallen madly in love with Ji Yuan.

As the two of them sped off hurriedly, Ling Feiyue sighed softly to the rest. "Look at the two of them. Just a while ago, one was pretending to be the victim and one was pretending to be a badass. Now they are moving on their business as though nothing had happened earlier."

When Ji Yuan got on the platform with Shui Xisi, he saw the trial entrance which was a shimmering blue portal which was situated at the back.

There was a black stele next to the blue portal which would describe the trial details to the cultivators.

But all of a sudden Ji Yuan was frowning; it was because his sharp eyes had spotted a name that was on top of the cliff and that was the Death God.

Other than the Death God, there were no other names and there were no other cultivators presented at the platform as well.

The first thought that had come to his mind was, "The Death God Mingwang was here and he had already completed the trial?"
