Chapter 423: Can we be friends?

When the other five maidens saw Bai Qianfeng returning with Yun Chi in a cordial manner, they were actually quite surprised.

Ling Feiyue turned to Ji Yuan with a perplexed look as she muttered softly, "What is going on…"

She had thought of rebuking Yun Chi again after she had returned but right now, she was really very confused.

Yun Chi smiled wryly, "Yes, I am indeed very sorry. Please allow me to offer you my sincere apologies."

Everyone, including Ji Yuan and Bai Qianfeng were all looking at Yun Chi weakly because she did not look the least sorry and she continued to maintain her haughty smiles.

Ji Yuan quickly said, "Yun Chi is really sorry and it is in her insides. She's just not good in displaying her emotions."

"That is right." Bai Qianfeng quickly added for Yun Chi.

She was quick to come to Yun Chi's defense; it is because she is actually secretly relieved that Yun Chi is on the same side now. When she had learnt that Yun Chi is actually the Death God Mingwang and that she wants to aid them, she actually got a big relief. After all, she did not want to fight against the Death God Mingwang and was even planning to sacrifice herself for Ji Yuan's sake.

Yun Chi smiled before she chuckled softly, "Actually, I don't want to be just friends with all of you. I am carrying Ji Yuan's child now. We can all be sisters."
