Chapter 552 - The Scum Is Content

Wu Tie was about to leave with Jin Yu. He, as well as the others who have brains, has the same plan as Sun Yan to wait until they have consumed their magic pills before they would buy from Cui Xiang. This is on the premise that they can control their consumption of magic pills and potions.

But, even if you aren't looking for trouble, trouble comes to look for you. Xi He's attention has never on the competition. It was on him. Thus, Xi He saw him going to leave.

"Wu Tie!" Xi He shouted as he drew his sword.

Jin Yu wanted to roll his eyes but that doesn't fit his image. He looked at Wu Tie. "Want me to deal with him?" he asked.

Wu Tie didn't answer and looked at Xi Bing who made a 'please' gesture, indicating he can do anything with Xi He. Xi Bing has given up on this cousin of his whom he isn't even close with.

"Do as you like." He finally answered and turned to leave.

"WU TIE!" Xi He yelled but Wu Tie didn't look back and flew away. He was about to follow him when someone intercepted him. He immediately attacked the person, thinking he could fend him off. But, he didn't expect for this person to be difficult to deal with.

Jin Yu laughed as he kicked Xi He who nearly was hit had he not used his qi to increase his speed. "You can't even beat this 'dog', so how can you beat my master?" he asked.

Xi He is filled with rage and humiliation so he ignored what Jin Yu said. The second in his list to kill is Jin Yu. The first has always been Wu Tie. "Scram!" he yelled as he stabilized his figure.

But, Jin Yu just raised his brow at him. The other participants looked on but no one stopped them. The others who aren't interested with the drama has long left like Wu Tie.

"Why is Xi He so fixated on Wu Tie?" Wen Wen whispered.

"A conference was held in our sect seven years ago." Sun Ri spoke as she stood beside Cui Xiao.

A conference is a small-scale competition and is held between sects unlike the Intersect Competition where the sects can recruit among the participants that performed brilliantly during the competition, rogue cultivators included. Of course, if the other sects would recruit someone from another sect, a discord will happen.

So far, nothing like this happened yet since everyone is subconsciously avoiding it, and that they are already content with their disciples.

"You should already have noticed that Xi He is arrogant. He chose to challenge Wu Tie because he disliked the other's proud attitude. He felt like Wu Tie looked at him like he is an ant." Sun Ri continued. "Wu Tie accepted Xi He's challenge, and Xi He was defeated by Wu Tie." She shrugged, since the disparity between Wu Tie and Xi He can be seen. "Xi He knew he messed up. He will be scolded by his father later. He also lost his face twice since he not only challenged Wu Tie but was beaten by the other, Wu Tie also mocked him. You should also know Wu Tie's temper, especially his pride is his reverse scale and Xi He dared to play with him." She told them.

They all nodded in understanding. This is Xi He reaping what he sowed.

"Xi He was badly scolded by uncle Xi Shi. To make it worse, uncle Xi Shi compared Xi He with Wu Tie." Sun Ri clicked her tongue. "Xi He then thought that if he beats Wu Tie and defeat him, he will regain his lost honor. So, he became fixated on him." She finished.

"What do you mean that Wu Tie is your master?" Fei Luo asked after they saw that Xi He and Jin Yu temporarily stopped fighting.

No one scolded them for not helping Xi He and just stood there and watched since everyone isn't blind. Xi He brought this upon himself.

Jin Yu just smiled. Then, Wu Tie appeared and threw a money pouch which looked heavy to Fei Yinzi. Fei Yinzi caught it.

"I will buy ten bottles of magic pills and potions, as well as talismans." Wu Tie spoke.

Fei Yinzi gave the money pouch to Cui Xiang. "The amount is too much." Cui Xiang spoke.

"The excess is an apology when I attacked Fei Yinzi before when he arrived in Zhongyang." Wu Tie explained.

Fei Yinzi nodded while Cui Xiang's eyes brightened. "Here! I added some more since you are my first customer!" she said as she took out two qiankun pouches that contain magic pills and potions.

The other participants who are still left looked enviously at Wu Tie while Wu Tie didn't say anything.

"Wen-shidi!" Cui Xiang turned to Wen Wen.

Wen Wen nodded and also took out a qiankun pouch containing talismans.

Jin Yu took it from them two. "You Xinfaxian Sect is really lucky you have mages with you. They can make talismans, refine magic pills and potions anytime." He spoke as he leapt on the boulder where Wu Tie is standing. "I am a miser while he has the money so I am working for him." He answered Fei Luo's question. Then, the two of them left without looking back, completely ignoring Xi He who is glaring at their backs filled with hate.

"Have you had enough?" Xi Bing asked in a tired voice. Then, he turned to Fei Luo and Sun Yan. "Let's go find a shelter, too." He spoke.

"Yes." Fei Luo nodded and pulled Fei Huo as they left first. Xi Bing helped Xi He up and followed after them.

"Ah Ri." Sun Yan called to Sun Ri. Then, he helplessly smiled when he saw Cui Xiao stealthily gave Sun Ri some magic pills and potions. "Let's go." He told her.

"Coming!" Sun Ri answered and bade goodbye to the Xinfaxian Sect, especially Cui Xiao and Cui Xiang, then ran after Sun Yan.

"Do you also want to buy?" Cui Xiang asked the remaining participants.

"Ehem." Tang Li coughed while Li Yan grinned. "We want to make an alliance with the Xinfaxian Sect and Youxiwang Sect." Tang Li spoke. "That is, you will regularly supply us with magic pills, potions and talismans." He said.

The Huakai Sect and Huli Sect don't lack money, but magic pills, potions and talismans for they don't have any mage in their sects.

The Xinfaxian Sect and Youxiwang Sect disciples didn't say anything since it is Cui Xiang who will decide for this is her matter.

"Brother, should we ally with them?" Jing De asked Jing Xu.

"En." Cui Xiao nodded as she wrote the Zunjingde Sect below the Qianxu Sect.

"We won't ask for you to regularly supply us with magic pills, potions and talismans.' Hui Na spoke as she approached them.

"Then, you can just approach me later, shijie." Cui Xiang answered. "When the Xinfaxian Sect and Youxiwang Sect have found their base, we will announce it for everyone to have a fair chance of buying magic pills, potions and talismans." She explained.
