Chapter 555 - The Scum Is Irate

"Was it you?!" xiao Ling asked as he glared at Bai Tan and Ling Yun who is on Bai Tan.

Bai Tan almost dropped Ling Yun just to flee but he can't drop Ling Yun. Thus, he had to endure. He slowly descended to the ground and Ling Yun, although scared of this new 'person' that appeared, still had to thank xiao Ling as well as xiao Bao for saving him.

He looked at the scattered limbs of the demons like sliced cabbages and gulped nervously. One of his saviors had an ill temper while the other one, although didn't answer, looked cold. He wanted to cry but he can't. "T – thank you for saving me." He told them. "Are you from the Righteous Alliance?" he asked. Even if they saved him, he still remembered all the participants.

These two aren't participants. And this space should only have demons. Thus, they could be from the Righteous Alliance.

"Ha. Is he master's new disciple?" xiao Ling spoke as he looked at Ling Yun from head to toe, then from toe to head. "He is dumber than that Er Zi." He said.

Then, suddenly, everyone saw xiao Bao grinned. "Of course, we also can steal points from you." He said.

Ling Yun, as well as everyone watching, was shocked.

"This is a new rule." The host said, to which the audience cheered since the competition will become livelier.

"It could be the two helpers residing in the forbidden area that the rules mentioned." Wu Lian said. "Bai Tan should be the defensive helper. Who are these two offensive helpers?" he asked.

"They are xiao Bao and xiao Ling." Ling Yun answered. "They are the ones who helped me earlier." He explained.

"'xiao Bao'?" they muttered while Fei Yinzi's face turned black. "But, wasn't he just a child?" they asked.

Ling Yun nodded. "Yes. But that was before. Now, he looked like the same age as us." he told them.

"Oh… how about this xiao Ling?" Qi Lan asked.

"He should be my master's sword spirit." Fei Yinzi gloomily answered. Now, the sword spirits have joined. "And they can take our points from us…" he frowned. The sword spirits joined not to help them, but bully them!

Everyone grimaced when they remembered this rule.

Fei Yinzi didn't answer and turned to the others. Whether Ling Yun wants to be treated or not, it doesn't matter to him. He already helped him enough. "Since we now have a base, shall we place some traps?" he asked. "Xiao-jie, can I help?" he asked Cui Xiao.

"Yes." Cui Xiao nodded in agreement. "Wen Wen." She called.

"Here!" Wen Wen answered. "Who wants to join in placing traps?" he asked as he grinned at them.

"Me!" Jing De immediately answered.

"This seems interesting. I want to join, too." Li Yan said.

"I won't. It would be lucky enough for me to not trap myself while setting up the trap." Tang Li said and wryly smiled.

The others looked at him in pity. The Huakai Sect is infamous for being an unlucky sect.

Su Mi nodded. "Xiang-shimei, do you have a list of the herbs you need in refining magic pills or potions?" she asked Cui Xiang.

"Yes. Here, shijie. Thank you in advance." Cui Xiang spoke as she handed her the list.

The two groups then departed to set up traps and to look for their dinner.
