Chapter 563 - The Scum Is Comprehensive

The Shanliangde Sect finds the participant that they heard who was crying for help but his voice suddenly disappeared. Ke Lu was still trying to trick the other participants left to rob them, though obviously his opportunities are getting low and lower since the ones left are not easy to trick after he has finished deceiving the easier ones before. Wu Tie and Jin Yu still continued to farm for points easily though there are only four days left, including this day, before the first elimination period arrives.

Meanwhile, the Xinfaxian Sect and Youxiwang Sect are starting to pick up the pace, too, after they were done laying traps in their base and transform it into a deceptive fortress. At first glance, or even at second and third, one would see a normal-looking base. There aren't even walls. Just a group of tents surrounding a single tent in the middle. This is where Cui Xiang is living for the others to protect her.

Jing Xu, Jing De, Tang Li and Li Yan also want to tag along but Su Yi had an idea he came up with today and sent the four away for the task.

"Although we have lots of people with us, we can't be too complacent with it." Chen Wu spoke.

"What does Wu-ge suggest that we do?" Wen Yan asked.

"Let's try luring them into a trap and take them all out in one fell swoop?" Chen Wu spoke.

"How do we lure them?" He Shun asked.

"I'll go act as a bait." Wu Lian suggested.

Nobody disagreed since Wu Lian is the fastest in their group.

"I'll provide cover." Qi Lan said.

"I'll also cover." Zhu Xi said.

"Me, too." Wen Yan added.

"Same." Su Mi coolly spoke.

"Count me in." Qian Jue spoke.

"Then, the rest of us will make the trap." Su Yi said as he took out some bags from his qiankun pouch.

"What are those?" Qian Meng curiously asked.

"Good stuff from Xiao-shimei." Su Yi grinned. He is referring to Cui Xiao.

"I'll instruct you how to make the trap." Fei Yinzi said.

Everyone agreed. Cui Xiao is the best in making traps but she isn't here today, so this task falls on Fei Yinzi's shoulders. Everyone then started to make the trap under Fei Yinzi's lead while Wu Lian's group also planned how to lure the demons their way.

"Be careful not to fall into the trap yourselves." Chen Wu reminded his younger brothers Chen Su and Chen Yu.

"Yes, dage!" the two answered as they happily dug a pit.

Ling Yun, He Shun and Qian Meng naturally also aren't idle and conscientiously did their best to dug in the ground since they are just tag-alongs.

Thus, everyone saw the scene of the weaker disciples being buried in their work to dig a pit for the demons to fall into later while the stronger people of their group are just discussing on the side and with no intention to help them.

"Damn! These 'helpers' actually aren't here to help, right?" someone from the audience asked. "Instead, they are here to bring more troubles to the participants!" he said when they saw xiao Bao and xiao Ling are fiercely fighting against Wu Tie and Jin Yu.

"I think that these two attacked Wu Tie and Jin Yu because they saw that they are too relaxed?" someone said.

"Oh… you must be right." They agreed when they realized it.

Although it sounds ridiculous, it was also true, though. Wu Tie and Jin Yu are strong as individuals unlike Qi Lan and He Shun, and Qian Meng and Qian Jue, another two pairs but only one of them is strong while the other is weak. Thus, Wu Tie and Jin Yu are confident to go as a pair and separate since they are confident with their strength.

Although Qian Jue is strong to go alone, he can't leave Qian Meng. Qi Lan, too, although a rogue cultivator, he has already entangled with He Shun and he just can't leave He Shun alone to fall into harm again when he just saved his life before.

"Yeah." Xiao Ling lazily yawned as he sheathed his sword. His sleepy gaze fell on Wu Tie and Jin Yu who are on their knees and panting while Jin Yu is helping Wu Tie up after Wu Tie fell on his back when xiao Bao caught him off-guard earlier and he was almost stabbed.

But, of course, xiao Bao and xiao Ling can't lay their hands against the participants, so how can xiao Bao make a mistake? They are really just playing with them.

"Then, let's go?" xiao Bao asked xiao Ling.

"En. They aren't fun." Xiao Ling smirked at Wu Tie and Jin Yu whose faces reddened in anger.

But, xiao Bao just helplessly smiled. He know xiao Ling got bored fighting Wu Tie and Jin Yu so he let him 'play' with those demons who are 'livelier' than the participants. "Then, let's go find more demons for you to play with?" he asked in a doting tone.

Wu Tie and Jin Yu almost had goosebumps when they heard these two 'people' talk this way.

"Yeah." Xiao Ling shrugged. "But, I want to steal points from them again." He added.

"Sure." Xiao Bao nodded and they finally left.

"These two…" Wu Tie spoke and finally collapsed.

Jin Yu laughed in anger. "Since they said that, it won't be us who will be unfortunate." He told Wu Tie to comfort the other.

"That's right.." Wu Tie grinned.
