Chapter 665 - The Scum Is Formidable

"I couldn't believe…" Tang Teng's usually amiable face is serious as they all flew towards Dongcheng, a place in the east where the Dongcheng Sect is located.

Li Nanzi nodded. His expression is solemn. "For his brother to betray him… I knew it. There was really something wrong with that brother of his!" he said and frowned in anger.

He remembered once in the past that he met the brother of the sect leader of the Dongcheng Sect. This person is ill but the malice in his eyes can't be hidden. Every time he sees his elder brother, he is exudes killing intent. Li Nanzi thought that the sect leader of the Dongcheng Sect knows about it, but after seeing that he didn't make any movement, Li Nanzi concluded that the sect leader of the Dongcheng Sect is a stupid person. His other flaw is that he cares too much about his family that he has become blind.

Qian Shan sighed. "Now, now…" he looked at them. "Aren't we here to avenge sect leader Dong?" he said, easing the depressing atmosphere.

The atmosphere immediately relaxed and the tension that they felt since earlier has eased.

"Fortunately, the teleportation array in the Yunxiao Inn is there. Or else, it would take us a very long time to fly east." Wu Yuan spoke.

Sun Yi and Chen Han nodded in agreement. Sun Yu, although he hates Xie Lan, he isn't serious about it and instead appreciate the Xinfaxian Sect, especially the talented and genius Cheng Sheng. With how strict he is, he naturally is fond of talented people. So, he really liked it when he, along with others, used the teleportation array earlier.

"Dong Cheng said that the enemies have scattered, planning to take down the weaker sects first before turning them to their side to fight against the bigger sect." Xi Ming said and frowned. "What do they take us as?" he said and sneered.

Xi Xing patted his shoulder to calm his temper.

Shu Mu nodded in agreement. "Then, let's split up from here?" he asked. "The Nanshu Sect and Huli Sect will accompany the Qianxu Sect south. Elder Qian Tian will be following us later." He said.

Qian Tian accompanied You Rou earlier in flying following the others in chasing Dong Cheng while they have already gone first to east using the teleportation array of the Yunxiao Inn since they have no time to spare. Each second counts since life is important. 

"En." Qian Lin nodded in agreement as he flew beside his father. "What about the Youxiwang Sect?" he asked and looked at Wu Yuan, Sun Yi and Chen Han.

"The west is stronger than it looks." Chen Han smugly smiled.

They didn't get angry. After all, what Chen Han said is true. Among all the sects in the land, only the Youxiwang Sect was never greatly shaken aside from that matter of Ming Ye who was actually Wu Ran. After that, instead of becoming weak, the Youxiwang Sect actually became stronger! The Xinfaxian Sect's, especially Cheng Sheng, contribution can't be ignored for this.

"Sect leader Tang. We will be going this way." Li Nanzi said as he turned to Tang Teng. "We will immediately return after we checked our sect's situation." He said.

Tang Teng nodded. "The sects in the south are farther to reach than the other sects, especially since the enemies came from the northeast." He said and sighed.

"What about the north?" Qian Shan asked and looked at Sun Yu.

"The north is stronger than you think." Sun Yu said with his chin raised.

Qian Shan heartily laughed while Sun Yi helplessly smiled at his uncle's pride. Sun Yu is clearly copying Chen Han's answer, but, what Sun Yu said is true. Especially now that the Sun Clan emerged, the Shanliangde Sect is more formidable than before!

"Then, let us all split up here!" Li Nanzi said as he flew beside Kang Ce. "Everyone, be careful!" he said and changed course to set south.

"En!" they all answered.

The Nanshu Sect which has Shu Mu and Xiao Le, the Huli Sect which has Li Nanzi and Kang Ce, and the Qianxu Sect which has Qian Shan and Qian Lin, flew south. Meanwhile, the Youxiwang Sect which has Chen Han, Wu Yuan and Sun Yi, Shanliangde Sect which has Sun Yu, Xi Ming and Xi Xing, and Huakai Sect which has Tang Teng, Tang Zhe, Tang Yun, Guo Cheng and Shan Lu, continued to fly towards Dongcheng.

As soon as they left the venue of the Intersect Competition, they followed Lei Qing and caught Dong Cheng, bringing him to the Yunxiao Inn where the teleportation array that leads to any point in the land is located. They used this teleportation array and appeared in the Dongxin Town, which is nearer to Dongcheng compared to the Xinfaxian. The Xinfaxian Sect immediately flew led by the furious Lei Qing. The other sects could only chase after their tails before splitting up midway so that the other sects could check their own sects back, especially in the south.

But, there was another reason why they let the Xinfaxian Sect fly ahead of them. It is because of the enemies. Cheng Sheng, and Wu Bai who went with them, is the best to fight against the enemies because of their skills and crafts, respectively.

"Judging by Lei Qing's action, it seems that she isn't that indifferent to Dong Cheng." Guo Cheng said while they fly with him flying on board of Shan Lu's sword.

Tang Yun nodded as a smile appeared on his tense face, while he board Tang Zhe's sword. "Yes. Could it be, the reason why she is refusing her suitors before is because of Dong Cheng?" he asked.

"After hearing their past, I also believe this." Xi Ming said and smiled.

The tense atmosphere suddenly eased with this chat. After they have seen Lei Qing fight during the previous Intersect Competition, they have already seen her as a formidable elder sister. With her tough attitude towards her suitors, as well as her overprotectiveness towards her younger brother Lei Ling, they thought that she would never fall in love, much less get married. If she is just an ordinary person, then this would be a big deal.

But, she is a cultivator. So, even if she is a woman, it is no big deal if she won't get married. They also have gotten used to seeing her alone every time. Thus, they were surprised today when Dong Cheng confessed to her.

"I really hope that she and Dong Cheng could be together." Tang Yun said.

They all nodded in agreement.

Dong Chi marched back to his quarters with a stormy expression on his face. As soon as he entered his room, he threw all the objects around him that he sees. He is really pissed off by these foreigners' arrogant tone towards him. It was obvious that they are looking down on him!

"Bah! If not for me, would they have the chance to take down one of the sects in this land?!" he asked as he kicked the chair due to anger. "Damn you bastards! You are just mere outsiders!" he said as he gnashed his teeth and clenched his fists. His eyes are burning with fire.

Suddenly, Dong Chi heard a sneer behind him. "Since you know that he is an outsider, why did you work for him, letting them bully your own people?" a voice asked. "Hypocrite!" it said.

Dong Chi sharply turned, but then he was greeted by a fist! "Ugh!" he cried as his body fell due to the impact of the fist. He thought that his nose broke… no. It really broke! Now, it was crooked aside from it bleeding. "Who are you?! How did you get in?!" he asked.

The Dongcheng Sect is now surrounded by the invisible spirit servants of the foreigners, not to mention that the foreigners also were closely guarding the sect and its vicinity. So, how can there be intruders?! Although he hates these foreigners, he is confident of their skills, or else he wouldn't have worked with them to take down Dong Cheng and his father to take over the Dongcheng Sect!

"Who am I?" the voice said and took off the mask.

Due to he was angry, Dong Chi didn't notice that there was something wrong with the voice. Not to mention that he was caught off-guard, he didn't have the time to focus on the voice. Now that the intruder has taken off the mask, Dong Chi's eyes widened when he saw that the intruder is a woman!

"You…!" Dong Chi's mouth fell open in shock and it was only now that he was lying on the floor did he finally saw the intruder's clothes.

But, the intruder didn't give him the chance to speak to reveal her identity, since she spoken it herself.. "I am Lei Qing, one of the disciples of Fan Wen of the Xinfaxian Sect!" she said with her chin proudly raised.
