Chapter 256 - The Scum Is Discreet

"He stabbed you because he was under a spell?!" Chen Han, Sun Yi, Li Tian and Feng Mo said after Cheng Sheng explained to them about what happened inside the Cave of Retribution. 

"Yes." Cheng Sheng nodded. "The longer you stay there, the stronger the spell will affect you." He explained. 

"But, how did Yu-ge reach the Cave of Retribution so easily?" Feng Mo asked. He's now back to calling Yu Sheng 'Yu-ge'. 

"Didn't he disappear during the Zunjingde Sect rescuing Jing Hei and Qian Lin? That's how it is." Cheng Sheng explained. He and Yu Sheng already talked about their alibi while in the Cave of Retribution before they went back to Xinfaxian. 

"Oh." They all nodded, finally understanding everything. 

Cheng Sheng secretly sighed in relief. He doesn't want to lie to them, but can he tell them that he is Shen Qi and he's not really 'Chen Shen'?! "Let's just leave him here." he said after they finished catching up with each other and turned to Ruo She. 

"Why?" Fei Yin asked while Yu Sheng was still beating up Ruo She whose screams are muffled because of the Shapeshifting Blanket. 

"His body is very weak against the demonic poison." Cheng Sheng said when he saw through the Shapeshifting Blanket Ruo She's veins are bulging and they are pitch black. "His meridians were destroyed by the demonic poison. I guess, he thought he would become a demonic cultivator after taking the demonic poison. However, that is if he could survive the demonic poison transforming his body." He explained. "Ruo She's body is very weak for the demonic poison. He only brought more harm to himself. He doesn't have enough time to live." He told them as he made the Shapeshifting Blanket release Ruo She who fell to the ground, black and blue. 

"Cheng Sheng! I knew it's you!" Ruo She shouted. 

"Ruo-shixiong… ugh. I'm dirtying my mouth if I'll call you like this, or even just your name." Cheng Sheng frowned. 

Everyone. "…" even just with words, he is a germaphobe?! 

"Do you really think everyone forced you to leave? You're so full of yourself!" Cheng Sheng said. "That's only what you think. Have you even asked others of what they think? Ruo She gasped while Li Tian's and Feng Mo's eyes widened. So, Cheng Sheng actually knew Ruo She's personality in the past? That's why he did it… he acted the villain for their sake! "You!" Ruo She gnashed his teeth as he resentfully glared at Cheng Sheng. 

"Your parents abandoned you since they know you have the means to survive while your siblings don't. Shifu and founder didn't stop you from leaving since they know you can't spring your wings in Xinfaxian. It's too small for your ambitions. And sect master Huo – " Cheng Sheng said. – you're too smart for him, he isn't enough to be your teacher." 

"Cheng Sheng – " Ruo She called as he tried to get up from the ground. But, his body ached all over because of the effect of the demonic poison, and as well as from Yu Sheng's beating. 

"This is where we cut off all our ties. We do not wish to see you again. As a sentiment for our previous relationship – " Cheng Sheng said. " – we'll leave you alive. Your life is in your hands, again." He said and then kept the Shapeshifting Blanket while walking away. 

Fei Yin immediately followed Cheng Sheng. Even if Ruo She was his fellow disciple in the past, but it is fake. Cheng Sheng's relationship as a fellow disciple is also fake, but Cheng Sheng learned how to place importance with his relationship to other people as the time passed. 

Yu Sheng naturally couldn't bear to care with other things and followed his brother and Fei Yin. Chen Han and Sun Yi don't have any relationship with Ruo She, and so they left. 

Li Tian and Feng Mo are the only ones left. "You…" Li Tian shook his head and sighed. He gave Ruo She a slight bow before he left. That's the remaining respect he had for Ruo She. Feng Mo followed Li Tian's act, then also left.

"Cheng-shidi…" Li Tian and Feng Mo called as they looked at Cheng Sheng's back, walking in the lead.

Li Tian and Feng Mo looked at each other before they lowered their head. If it were just them earlier, they don't know how to deal with Ruo She and would leave Ruo She's fate on Chen Han's and Sun Yi's hands. Since Sun Yi and Chen Han don't have any relationship with Ruo She, they would definitely kill him. One: Ruo She is a demonic cultivator. Two: Ruo She committed crimes. Not only he colluded with demonic cultivators, but he also harmed his own shifu, Huo Ling.

Sun Yi fell silent while Li Tian and Feng Mo lowered their head. They also know that Chen Han impulsively decided to leave, but they are with him. They know his reason, they understand him. Chen Han wanted to clear his mind, and he can't do it if he stayed in Xinfaxian. He would feel pressured. 

Cheng Sheng already expected the answer and he turned to Sun Yi. "Sun-shixiong." He called. 

"If my Yuan will become a demonic cultivator, I would still accept him." Sun Yi said. "Even if he committed crimes, I will still stay with him. Not because it is my duty as his husband, but because I love him. He became my husband on the premise I love him." He said. "And I love him, because I believe in him." He added. 

They felt their heart became elated from Sun Yi's answer. That's right. They left to go to the West is because they believe. They have faith. Faith on Chen Han. Faith on Sun Yi. Faith on themselves. As well as faith on Cheng Sheng that Cheng Sheng would return, and would definitely come and help them.

Yu Sheng snorted at the scene while Fei Yin smiled.
