Chapter 317 - The Scum Is Diligent

Li Tian is of humble birth. He has no parents. No one knows where they went, or if they were dead. When Li Tian came to Xinfaxian, he is already independent. Xie Lan and Fan Wen asked him of his hometown, and they went to Li Tian's hometown to investigate of Li Tian's parents. But, no one could answer them directly, since no one knows who are they. All they know is that the young Li Tian who is a diligent and smart orphan and is also very kind. 

Xie Lan and Fan Wen, naturally, didn't hide this from Li Tian. Li Tian was very ashamed and nervous, thinking that their founder and shifu would scorn him. But, contrary to his expectations, Xie Lan and Fan Wen are very compassionate. They told him to treat them as his fathers, and the Xinfaxian Sect disciples as his siblings. He should also treat Xinfaxian as his home. 

Li Tian cried for an hour, very thankful for meeting Xie Lan and Fan Wen. He is also very glad to meet Cheng Sheng, Fei Yin and Feng Mo, who later became his best friends. Then, gradually, he met Chen Han.

Li Tian also knows this, and he trusts Cheng Sheng since he grew up together with Cheng Sheng. He and Cheng Sheng also went to the Xinfaxian Sect together to become disciples. Cheng Sheng is also Chen Han's brother. And so, he knows Cheng Sheng would never harm Chen Han. 

Zuo Zhe looked at Li Tian, his eyes full of pity. Meanwhile, Yu Sheng just sighed as he kicked Zuo Zhe. Zuo Zhe turned to him and he raised his hand, telling him his hand is tired from him raising it. 

Zuo Zhe just rolled his eyes before he continued speaking. "Lastly, about the sealing process – " he said. 

Everyone immediately returned alert as they turned to him. 

" – you already know that the sealing process should be meticulously done, as well as the seal making." Zuo Zhe said. "The seals should be placed in order. The north-east-south-west seal should be placed first. Then, 'lock' it with the central point." He said and tapped the center of the diamond. 

The diamond seal glowed after a 'heart' was added onto it. 

"The second seal of northeast, southeast, southwest and northwest follows." Zuo Zhe said as Yu Sheng manipulated the condensed qi above his palm, moving according to Zuo Zhe's words. "'lock' it like the first seal, then, the third seal of north-north-east, south-south-east, south-south-west and north-north-west. Lock it, too." He said as he pointed the third seal topping the first and second seals before tapping the center of the third seal. "Lastly, the fourth seal of the north-east-east, south-east-east, south-west-west, and north-west-west. And, lock!" he said and tapped the center of the fourth seal. 

Then, a magical thing happened. They watched as the seals turned very fast and then suddenly halted. Then, all the seals disappeared on top of Yu Sheng's palm. Their eyes widened and they suddenly felt anxious, thinking the seals failed. However, before they could speak, a bright light appeared on top of Yu Sheng's palm. It almost blinded them and they covered their eyes. 

The light covered the entirety of the Millennium Ship before it died. "It…" they said. 

Zuo Zhe nodded. "I only placed two layers of seals on the Ni Lai Gates we sealed. The result isn't as strong as this – Four Layered Seal." he said. "So, just follow the process, and it will definitely be a success!" he said with a raised fist. 

Everyone. "…" seeing the hyped expression on Zuo Zhe's face, they suddenly felt unsure. 

Yu Sheng closed his palm. The condensed qi disappeared. "We should hurry." He told them. 

Everyone immediately recovered their expression. 

Xie Lan nodded while Fan Wen, Lei Ling, Lei Qing and You Rou joined Feng Mo to comfort Li Tian. "Sect leader Qian." He called Qian Tian. "My disciples xiao Ling will conceal the Millennium Ship once you've reached the Nanli Town. Xiao Qing and Jing Hei will protect you and your younger brother as you recover your former strength while xiao Rou will heal you and also continue refining medicines." He said. 

Qian Tian nodded. "I understand." He said. 

"Then, that's it." Xie Lan said as he turned to the others. 

Jing Rui nodded at him. "We'll be going east." He said, referring to the direction where one of the four Ni Lai Gates are located. 

"Be careful." Xie Lan told them. 

"Yes." Jing Rui answered and he turned to Jing Hei, who's standing with Qian Lin on Qian Tian's side together with Lei Qing, Lei Ling and You Rou; and Jing Bai who's standing with Feng Mo on Fei Lin's and Xi Ling's side. "Do your tasks dutifully." He told them. 

Jing Bai and Jing Hei nodded. "Yes, uncle!" they answered and bowed. 

"Ling Ling." Jing Kang called. 

Lei Ling blushed, but his eyes watered. "I know." He said. "I'll wait for you to come back." He told him. Jing Kang nodded. A smile appeared on his usually cold face. 

A faint smile appeared on Jing Rui's lips before he turned to Jing Cheng, Jing Kang and Zheng Yi. "Let's go!" he told them. 

"Yes!" they answered and together, they jumped off the ship. 

"We'll be going too, brother." Xi Ling said and hugged Xie Lan tight. "You be very careful!" he told him. 

Xie Lan hugged him back. "You, too." He told him before he looked at Fei Lin. 

Fei Lin nodded at him, reassuring him. He sighed, relieved, before he let go of Xi Ling. 

He then turned to Feng Mo. "Xiao Mo." He called. 

Feng Mo let go of Li Tian who has now calmed down. He has also already bade his goodbye to Fan Wen and his fellow disciples. "Founder." He called. 

"Be very careful, okay?" he told him. "Your parents, as well as Wu Bai, are still waiting for you to return." He said. 

Feng Mo's eyes brightened and he smiled before he bowed. "I will!" he said. 

Xie Lan nodded, satisfied, before he turned to Jing Bai who watched the Zunjingde Sect and Zheng Yi disappeared before he turned to Jing Hei. 

"Ah Hei." Jing Bai called. 

"Brother, be careful." Jing Hei said as he hugged Jing Bai tight. 

"I will. Ah Yi still doesn't remember me." Jing Bai laughed. 

Jing Hei smiled before he patted Jing Bai's back. Jing Bai then returned to Fei Lin and Xi Ling's side. "We'll be leaving, then." Fei Lin said. "Everyone, please take care." He said and nodded at them before the four of them left. 

"We'll be going, too." Yu Sheng said. 

Xie Lan nodded. "Take care." He told them. 

"Yeah." Yu Sheng answered and grabbed Zuo Zhe by the waist. 

Zuo Zhe's eyes widened and his face reddened in shame. "Why are you grabbing my waist?! Put me down - !" he told Yu Sheng as he hit Yu Sheng's arm wrapping around his slim waist. 

Yu Sheng looked at him. "Can you fly?" he asked Zuo Zhe. 

Zuo Zhe. "…" fck. I almost forgot this is a xianxia world! His face reddened more in new shame. "…. No." he answered. 

Yu Sheng didn't bicker with him anymore and he draw his sword. His sword floated in the air and he hopped on his sword, with Zuo Zhe carried in his arm. Then, they flew. In just a flash, they were gone. 

"Amazing…" they all sighed in admiration. This is the power of the Ascension Stage cultivator. He can be called an immortal. 

"Wen, we should hurry, too." Xie Lan told Fan Wen. 

"Yes…" Fan Wen said and turned to Lei Ling, Lei Qing and You Rou. Hesitation flashed in his eyes before he suddenly hugged them tight. "Xiao Ling. I believe in you, so you should also believe in yourself." He whispered to Lei Ling. "Xiao Qing. You're the eldest sister of them. Don't hesitate to scold them!" he told her. 

Lei Qing grinned. "I definitely will, shifu!" she said and then turned to Lei Ling, You Rou, and even to Jing Hei and Qian Lin. 

Lei Ling, You Rou, Jing Hei and Qian Lin. "…" 

"Xiao Rou." Fan Wen called. 

"Shifu." She bowed. 

"You're everyone's youngest sister, but you don't act spoiled. You're a good girl." Fan Wen said. "So, just do whatever you want to do. But, you also have to support everyone as they support you." He told her. 

You Rou's eyes watered. "Yes, shifu!" she answered. 

Fan Wen smiled, feeling proud of his disciples. "Lan. Xiao Tian. Let's go." He said.
