Chapter 325 - The Scum Is Ineloquent

Xi Ming looked at them in disbelief. 

"I'll go with you." Wu Xi spoke through the Thought Talisman. 

Tang Zhe and the Huakai Sect looked surprised. "Wu Xi!!!" the Huakai Sect disciples cried and surrounded him. 

Wu Xi will help them… is fortune finally befalling them?! They excitedly thought. Tang Zhe smiled, feeling relieved. Tang Yun, Shan Lu and Guo Cheng looked at each other. They also think Wu Xi is their god of luck. 

"Mu-ge…" Xiao Le called before he clenched his fists. He took a deep breath. "I'm going with you!" he told Shu Mu. 

"Huh?" Shu Mu was dumbfounded. "You can't!" he answered. 

"But, you've just recovered!" Xiao Le said and looked at the bandages on Shu Mu's body that were exposed on his neck and arms. His heart can't help but ache remembering the suffering Shu Mu have gone through. 

"I – " Shu Mu said. 

"Wait!" Xi Ming yelled as he raised his hand, indicating for them to stop. 

They all looked at him. 

"You all are planning to go… have you notified your sect leaders about this?" Xi Ming asked them. 

Tang Zhe, Shu Mu and Xiao Le looked at each other. "No." they answered as they turned to Xi Ming with a deadpan expression. 

Xi Ming. "…" then why do you all look like you're righteous when you answered?! He felt his head ached. "Why don't you notify your sect leaders first?" he asked Tang Zhe and Xiao Le. Shu Mu's father, the leader of their sect, has already died. 

"This…" Tang Zhe and Xiao Le looked at each other. Tang Yun, Shan Lu and Guo Cheng also fell silent. 

Xi Ming's brows raised. "You won't?" he said then crossed his arms. "Then, I won't lend you a hand." He told them. 

"Ha?" they looked at him, confusion on their face. What does he mean by what he said? 

"I said, I'll help you." Xi Ming answered. "But, since the Huakai Sect doesn't need more people, I'll then help you." He pointed at Shu Mu. 

Shu Mu's eyes brightened, feeling grateful for Xi Ming's kind intention. "Thanks." He said as he cupped his fist at Xi Ming. 

"But, you should also notify and ask permission from your sect leader, right?" Tang Zhe asked when he suddenly remembered something. His voice fell. He looked at Xi Ming. 

Xi Ming grinned. "Sect leader Fei is missing, or else, how can I go to and fro from our sect and here?" he asked, a proud look on his face. 

Tang Zhe's fist itched, wanting to punch Xi Ming. 

"Also – " Xi Ming continued. " – elder Ho and the other elders of our sect are there, and also their respective disciples." He said. "I can only bring myself to help Shu Mu – " he said. 

"I'm also here!" Xi Xing spoke as he appeared in the teleportation array. 

"Xi Xing?!" Xi Ming exclaimed in surprise. "Why did you follow me?" he asked as he turned. 

"Nobody noticed me." Xi Xing answered. 

Xi Ming. "…" well, that's true. Xi Xing is too quiet he is easily overlooked by many. And also, often ignored. Only he and Gong Xian are interacting with Xi Xing. "You can't go with me." He told him. 

"But you can go with him?" Xi Xing asked and looked at Shu Mu. 

Xi Ming feels speechless. When did Xi Xing learn how to talk back? 

"I want to go with you." Xi Xing told Xi Ming as he looked at Xi Ming in the eyes. 

Xi Ming. "…" and he's also become straightforward. "How about Gong Xian?" he asked. However, he felt his heart ached when he asked that and he also feels regretting he asked that. 

Although he hates to admit it, but Xi Xing is closer with Gong Xian than him. So, in order to make Xi Xing stop from going with him, he has to use Gong Xian. 

But, who would have thought it was ineffective. "He's with elder Ho." Xi Xing answered. 

"No, I mean… you're fine leaving Gong Xian?" Xi Ming asked in surprise. 

Xi Xing tilted his head, seeming not to understand Xi Ming's words. "Or else?" he answered. 

Xi Ming. "…" 'or else'? Don't you like Gong Xian?! So why do you want to go with me?! Why do you look fine leaving him?!

"Xi Ming." Shu Mu called. "Are you really going with me?" he asked. 

Xi Ming nodded, his face serious. "Yes." He answered. "I don't want to be confined in the sect anymore." He explained. 

Shu Mu nodded, showing that he understood what Xi Ming meant. Tang Zhe, Tang Yun and Guo Cheng looked at each other, while Shan Lu's brows knitted. Only he didn't understand the hidden meaning in Xi Ming's words. 

Tang Zhe, Tang Yun and Guo Cheng. "…" we thought his brain has improved… how wrong are we! 

"Mu-ge! I want to go with you, too!" Xiao Le said. 

"Xi Ming." Xi Xing called. 

Shu Mu and Xi Ming. "…" how persistent are they?! 

Tang Zhe, Tang Yun and Guo Cheng. "…" is this what you call 'wife following the husband wherever her husband goes'? 

However, in Shan Lu's mind: … are they trying to die? Why would they want to go to somewhere dangerous? 

If only Tang Zhe, Tang Yun and Guo Cheng could read Shan Lu's mind, they'd say, "We're also going to somewhere dangerous! Don't exclude yourself in this, acting dumb just because your mind is slow!". However, unfortunately, they couldn't, so they have to suffer this ignorant injustice from Shan Lu. 

"You can't - !" Shu Mu said told Xiao Le, his voice slightly rose. 

Xiao Le's eyes widened as he stared at Shu Mu in shock. This is the first time Shu Mu yelled at him. His lips quivered, and his eyes reddened, his tears are threatening to fall. He opened his mouth to speak, only for his lips to tremble and felt his throat tightened from holding back his tears. 

In order to avoid embarrassing himself, he lowered his head and ran away. 

Shu Mu felt his chest tightened, and he felt it hard to breathe. "Xiao Le… xiao Le!" he called as he ran after Xiao Le. He can't bear to see Xiao Le's back. He felt like Xiao Le will leave him. 

He doesn't realize it's him who wanted to leave Xiao Le right now… 

"No!" Xi Ming told Xi Xing. 

Xi Xing's pupils constricted and his body stiffened. "Xi Ming…" he muttered. Because he's ineloquent, he doesn't know what words are to be said. He can't express himself. "I…" he spoke as he took a deep breath when he felt his chest became stuffy. He clutched his chest. "I feel uncomfortable…" he said as he shook his head. 

Xi Ming's eyes widened. "Xi Xing?" he called when he saw that Xi Xing's usually blank expression changed. "Xi Xing – " he called as he raised his hand to touch him. 

Xi Xing's eyes widened and he took a step back, making Xi Ming touch nothing. Xi Ming felt his heart sank. 

"Xi Ming…" Xi Xing called. 

Xi Ming looked at Xi Xing, only to feel his heart throbbed in pain when he saw Xi Xing's eyes are watery. "Xi Xing – " 

Xi Xing doesn't know what he feels right now. He felt uncomfortable after Xi Ming refused him. This is the first time Xi Ming disapproved of him. He felt scared. Xi Ming disapproved… he only has Gong Xian and Xi Ming. They are the only ones who talks to him and don't ignore him. 

But, Gong Xian now have elder Ho. Xi Ming's the only one he has now. But, Xi Ming refused him. Will Xi Ming abandon him? He shook his head and closed his eyes, feeling more and more uncomfortable. He can't bear to look at Xi Ming right now. 

And so, he ran away. 

Xi Ming was shocked. He stared, dumbfounded, at Xi Xing's back. "Xi Xing…?" he muttered. 

This was the first time Xi Xing ran away. No matter how Xi Shi and Xi Ning bullies him, where he always saves Xi Xing from them, Xi Xing wouldn't snap since he has a dull personality, to which Xi Shi and Xi Ning take advantage of always to bully him. 

Thus, Xi Ming is shocked that Xi Xing suddenly ran away. "XI XING!" he called and ran after him after he finally reacted. "XI XING!" he called as he ran. 

Tang Zhe, Tang Yun and Guo Cheng who were ignored and left, treated like they were air. "..." what's with this dramatic scene? Why do they suddenly feel they were force fed by dog food? 

Shan Lu. "…" why are they all yelling and running? What is happening? 

Tang Zhe, Tang Yun and Guo Cheng who saw Shan Lu's blank expression as he looked at the direction where the MuXie and MingXing couples ran away. "…" ignorance is a bliss… 

Li Nanzi and Tang Teng who were secretly listening and accidently were force fed by dog food by the two young couples. "…" are we still going out or not, exposing their plans that we heard?
