Chapter 443 - The Scum Is Weak

"Is it true?!" Fan Wen exclaimed after he heard what Cheng Sheng said. 

"Yes." Cheng Sheng nodded. "I'm not being an alarmist." He said. 

The others looked at each other. They know that Cheng Sheng only speak of the truth, albeit a scum. 

"The demons are moving in a fast rate…" Xie Lan frowned. 

"That's why I told you this before I leave for Zhongyang." Cheng Sheng told them as he rose and he fixed his sleeve. He sighed when he saw that he only made it crinkled more. He decided to have Fei Yinzi, who is outside, to fix it before they leave. 

"Ah Sheng. Shouldn't you bring me and Jing Kang?" Chen Han asked. "We… can protect you." He said in a low voice. 

"That's right, Cheng-shixiong." Lei Ling nodded in agreement. Although he is reluctant for Jing Kang to leave, but if it is for Cheng Sheng's safety, then he will kick Jing Kang out himself! 

(Jing Kang who is unaware of his beloved's dangerous thoughts. "…") 

"No need. I have Er Zi with me." Cheng Sheng said. 

"That child…" Chen Han muttered, then helplessly sighed. 

The other fell silent. They also know that Fei Yinzi is currently weak. Cheng Sheng ignored them. Since Fei Yinzi is weak, they can't use the teleportation array, or Fei Yinzi's body might be torn apart. Even though he has already gained a golden core, but it happened just recently, after all.

"Cheng-shixiong… this talisman…" Lei Ling spoke with a surprised expression.

"Shu Mu." Jing Kang said. 

The other nodded, feeling enlightened. They remembered now that Shu Mu also makes talismans! And, as far as they can remember, he was the one who guided Xiao Le, his partner, five years ago when they met them. 

"Hmm." Cheng Sheng hummed as he looked at the talisman with a thoughtful gaze. "Meet me in Dongfang Town." He spoke to the talisman before he burned it. 

The others watched him. They remembered that Shu Mu really owed Cheng Sheng his life by curing the poison of the Nuhou Pills that changed his temper, and almost took his father's life. 

"If it's Dongfang Town…" they spoke as they looked at each other. Their gazes are speaking. 

Fei Yinzi might be able to hold on protecting Cheng Sheng. Fei Yinzi only lacks experience as he already has built his foundation in martial arts. Cheng Sheng is master-level in martial arts, and he definitely would continue teaching Fei Yinzi during their travel. 

Cheng Sheng isn't easy to kill, either, even if his cultivation has dropped to mid-level Golden Core Stage. He still has his martial arts. It is just that either his opponent is stronger than him, or that they outnumber him, like what happened to that village that was controlled by a demon. "… somehow, I felt something has changed with Er Zi…" they spoke as they watched the two figures disappear in the distance. "Like… his temperament?" they looked at each other. "Did you see it, too? Were we just imagining things?" they asked. 

They didn't know something is about to start.

"En." Cheng Sheng nodded. "Distribute them evenly. I wouldn't be around lately, for about a month." He told her. "If someone asks, just tell them I have a business in Zhongyang." He added. 

The middle-aged woman nodded in understanding. "Yes, master Cheng! Take care!" she said and then turned to smile at Fei Yinzi. "You too, child." She said. 

Cheng Sheng has cured her father who almost died. Starting then, she worked for Cheng Sheng by distributing the magic pills to the old and sick people. The citizens of Xinfaxian has it better than the citizens of other regions who have been injured, or worse, died, after the demons attacked them. Especially those in the Southern Regions, where the Abyss, in which the demons came from, appeared. 

These demons have different color of skin, have fangs, as well as pointed ears and tail. Their fingers also looked slender, and they have sharp nails. But, they are as big as the humans. They are also very feral, which a characteristic they got from the beasts. Cheng Sheng, who has gone to many worlds before, thinks they are like aliens. But, there's a foul air present in them, and they have psychic powers that affects the human's brain for them to control them, make them follow them obediently. 

"Er Zi." He called as they left the Xinfaxian, riding on Bai Tan, treating it like Aladdin's magic carpet ride. But, what he has is a Shapeshifting Blanket, which is more useful than Aladdin's magic carpet. 

They use Bai Tan so that they can travel faster. 

"Yes, shizun?" Fei Yinzi answered as his head popped out of Bai Tan's cloth.

He only has one disciple, and he doesn't like any more people in the Jixu Peak. But, he also felt envious of Li Tian, Feng Mo and Lei Ling and he also wanted someone to call him 'shifu', too. Indeed, he feels getting lonelier every day.

"'going east'…" Fei Yinzi's eyes widened. 

"Don't worry. We would have already left the east before they arrive." Cheng Sheng said. 

"That's not it!" Fei Yinzi said and was about to go outside of the space when Cheng Sheng grabbed his head and pushed him back inside. 

"I already said to not worry. I already told shifu and founder, as well as the others about the arrival of the demons." Cheng Sheng said. "So, don't concern yourself with this for now and just continue training with the puppets!" he said and thoroughly pushed Fei Yinzi's head inside. Then, he sighed as he stared at the white color of Bai Tan. "Raising a child is really exhausting." He muttered and shook his head before he gazed at the scenery he passed by with the fast-moving Bai Tan. "Yin…" he muttered in a low voice. "Where are you now?" he asked. 

He remembered he sent the other back to the Ten Thousand Dimensions with the help of Xi Tong. But, where is he now? Is he still not coming back?
