Chapter 112 - Seri The "Benevolent" Knight

I walked over to the men's class with a skip in my step. I knew I'd be able to switch classes, one way or another.

"Artie!"

I waved, noticing him hiding in the shade of a tree. He looked at me and his eyes widened in surprise.

He stood up, "Seri? What are you doing here?"

I smiled with a cocky expression and handed him a note. "I got us switched out."

"Huh?" He looked down at the note I handed him. His jaw dropped, "This is the Headmaster's stamp."

"Fufu~ That's right. I got him to allow me to join the men's class, and I got him to allow you to join home economics."

He looked at me suspiciously, "How?"

I chuckled nervously and scratched my cheek, "I made an extremely persuasive argument."

He looked at me with disbelief, but didn't dare question further. He smiled at the paper, "Well, then I guess I should leave this crappy class!"

He went to walk away, but I grabbed his shoulder. He raised an eyebrow, "What is it?"

I stared at him with a mischievous glint in my eye. "Strip."

"Haah?!"

"You heard me. Strip."

He instinctively raised his arms to cover his chest, "I heard you!! But why?!"

I looked him up and down, "Because we are the same height and body type. So I want to borrow your clothes."

"You want my clothes?"

"Yes. Now strip."

I started tugging at his shirt and he thrashed around trying to keep it on, "STOP IT! I have another set of clothes you can borrow!!!"

I stopped my assault, "I guess that works too."

He rolled his eyes, "Jeez. Why are you so weird? Why do you even want to wear my clothes?"

"Well, I can't train in a dress, can I?"

He thought about this, "I guess not. But I'm surprised you would want to wear my sweaty clothes."

I gave him a bland look, "I saw you hiding in the shade. There's no way you have worked up a sweat. You've been hiding this entire time, haven't you?"

He blushed, "I-I have not!"

"Mhm. Sure. Then why are you blushing?"

He turned around and started walking away in irritation, "Shut up and just follow me."

I followed him inside and he went into a room. I went to follow him, but he pushed me back out.

"What are you doing?!"

"Following you like you said."

He blushed, "I know I said to follow me, but I didn't mean in here!!"

"Why not?"

"Can't you read?!"

"Yes, I can read."

"And what does that say?!" He pointed to a sign above the door.

"It says 'mens changing room'. What's your point?"

"SO YOU CAN'T COME IN HERE!!!"

I tilted my head in confusion, "I don't see the problem. It's not like there are any men in here. They are outside training."

He smacked his forehead, "That's not the point. Only men are allowed in here. Just wait here and I will go grab my extra outfit."

I pouted, "But where am I supposed to change? There's not a girl's changing room..."

He rolled his eyes in irritation, "Just change in a bathroom."

He left me to pout at the door. He came back and handed me a new outfit. It was folded up so nicely, it was almost as adorable as him.

"I'm heading to home economics now... Have fun!!" He skipped off cheerfully.

I got changed in the bathroom and strolled back out arrogantly. My hair was pulled up in a high ponytail. I wore brown pants with black boots and a tan shirt. Even Artie's work out clothes looked adorable.

I ran over to the teacher, "Sensei!"

He raised an eyebrow, "My name's not Sensei. It's professor Thomas."

"Uhhh. Yeah, okay. Anyway, I'm here for class. Headmaster allowed me and Artie to switch classes."

I handed him the note as people started to gather around and whisper to each other. He read it quickly and shrugged, "Okay."

My face twitched. Really? That easy? D*mn. The old grumpy lady made it such a big deal, but this guy doesn't care at all. I'm a bit disappointed.

He spoke, "Find a group and start training."

I saluted, "Sir yes sir!"

I walked through the crowd of people until I saw them. I ran over in excitement, "William! Dante! Guess what!"

They looked over at me. William furrowed his brow, "You got kicked out of home economics?"

My face twitched, "Nooo. I switched classes with Artie!"

"And how exactly?"

I scratched my cheek awkwardly, "I just calmly told the headmaster why I should join the men's class instead. I was so persuasive, he agreed."

"I don't believe you." William said bluntly.

Dante looked at my outfit, "Those clothes...?"

"Hehe. I didn't want to wear a dress, so I borrowed Artie's clothes."

The temperature around me plummeted as Dante glared at me. I gulped under his angry glare. I forced out a chuckle, "My, my, Dante. Are you jealous?"

He quickly looked away, "No."

"Dante." I coyly smiled at him, "I can tell that you are lying."

"Was that explosion you?" He glared at me purposely changing the subject.

This time I averted my eyes, "I don't know what you're talking about."

William sighed, "Did you try to start a fire?"

"What?! No!" I said defensively, "It's just that... There was a can that said flammable... And well... I was curious."

William shook his head in disappointment, "Did you even try?"

I nodded vigorously, "I did! It's just that.. I'm not too great at feminine things." I pouted, "First, I nicked an artery with my needle which sent my blood everywhere."

William paled, "Blood?"

I continued, "Then I may have poisoned Mary..."

Dante raised an eyebrow, "Poisoned?"

"I did make a pretty good painting. It was so lifelike it sent people running out of the room screaming."

Dante's face twitched. He recalled the terrifying creations Seri had made in the past.

"Then I got a little excited playing with fire. No big deal." I shrugged.

"No big deal?!" William shouted, "We heard the explosion from here!!"

I waved him off, "It's fine. No one got hurt. Well... Except for my eyebrows." I looked around, "So what are you guys doing?"

"Oi! Dumb b*tch! What are you doing here?!"

I automatically flipped off the irritating voice, "Sup, disease boy."

Lucius's face twisted in anger, "Who's diseased?!"

I ignored him and saw Mathias standing off to the side like a loner. I waved to him, "Hey Matty!"

He nodded at me in response. I looked around, "So you four made a group?"

William nodded, "That's right."

I sighed, "So this is the friendless loser group eh?"

William's face twitched, "What..?"

I shook my head, "Let me guess, William and Mathias are too socially awkward that they can't even make friends."

Mathias's face darkened and William blushed instantly, showing just how right I was.

I nodded, "Dante and Lucius are too charming and friendly with the girls, that they ended up alienated themselves. The other boys are jealous and hate the two of them, making it impossible for them to even attempt to make friends."

Lucius scowled at me, "Who said I wanted to make friends with anyone anyways? No thanks!"

Dante also had no interest in making friends.

I shook my head, "Since you all are terrible at making friends, I see that you were all forced to make a group. Therefore, this is the group of losers."

William crossed his arms, "Well, to be fair, there were more of us. We had five people. But Artie disappeared right at the start." He glanced at Dante, "I wonder why."

Dante just looked away without a shred of guilt. I nodded in understanding, "Well then, it's only right that I replace him."

Lucius stomped his foot, "No way. You're not allowed."

I gave a malevolent smile, "Why? You afraid to lose to a girl?"

William and Dante automatically glanced at each other noticing my smile they were all too familiar with.

His face turned red in anger, "Who's a girl?! All I see in front of me is a little boy!"

I raised my fists, "Well come on then! Fight me!"

He shouted pridefully, "Then I challenge you to an archery contest!!"

"You're on! I'm so gunna make you my little b*tch!"

We went over to the archery field and grabbed a bow and arrow. He sent off several, each making a bullseye. I sent off more arrows, splitting all of his previous arrows.

I then sent off more arrows creating a smiley face in the target. He then sent arrows creating an angry face. I glared at him, "Targets are too easy. We need something that moves."

He nodded angrily, "I agree. Dante?"

Dante grabbed small clay targets and began throwing them in the air. We both shot at them skillfully. I smirked as I sent one arrow to collide with his, then quickly sent another to hit the flying target.

"Oi! You're cheating!!"

I stuck out my tongue, "Nope. Just showing you how much better I am at archery than you."

He shook with anger, "You're not better than me one bit!!"

"Am too!"

"Are not!"

William, Dante, and Mathias watched the argument on the sidelines with dumbfounded expressions. William finally grew irritated with the fighting, "Both of you shut up!! You're both really great at archery!"

We both looked to him and spoke simultaneously, "But who's better?!"

He sighed in irritation, "Seri is probably a bit better."

"Yippee!" I jumped in the air in excitement, "I win!!"

Lucius growled, "You just got lucky! A rematch! I demand a rematch!!"

Mathias looked at me in admiration, "Seri... You're good."

William raised an eyebrow, "I have to say, I'm also surprised. I've never seen you handle a bow before."

I chuckled awkwardly, "To be honest, the competition was the first time I tried it."

"What." They all said simultaneously.

I nodded sheepishly, "It's true."

William shouted, "But how are you so good?!"

I shrugged, "It's a lot like throwing knives."

"Knives...?"

"No way. It really is a girl." Laughter which held disgust interrupted us. I turned and scowled at the group of guys sneering at me.

One spoke, "How disgusting. She's even wearing pants."

"Doesn't she realize how unbecoming that is? Won't her fiance be embarrassed?"

"Dude. She doesn't even have a fiance."

He snickered, "Well, she will never find a husband like that."

Guess guys gossip just as much as girls do. Although... Was that supposed to hurt my feelings? Those were some weak insults.

Lucius snickered next to me when he heard the group of men bully me.

An average looking boy with brown hair spoke nervously, "Guys... You shouldn't make fun of her. Trust me. I went to school with her previously. She's not the type of person you want to have angry with you."

The leader of the gang rolled his eyes, "Why would I be afraid of a girl? What's she going to do? Cry?"

They all laughed. He smirked at William, "Hey, your highness. Are you really so weak that you were beat by a girl?"

William shook in anger, "You! Watch your mouth!"

He continued with a smug expression, "I'm just saying it to protect your highness's reputation."

William stepped forward, but I grabbed his shoulder. He looked down at me in surprise. I winked at him, "I got this."

I stepped forward staring them down with a faint smile. The leader chuckled, "Oh no. She's coming over. I'm sooo scared."

I cracked my knuckles.

"What's wrong? Did we hurt your little feelings?"

I pulled my fist back and sent it flying with all of my weight and strength behind it. The fist smacked into his face, breaking his nose, and sending him flying backwards. The laughing group of men quickly went silent from the shock.

I gave them a haughty smile while I rubbed my fist. "Anyone else?"

They all stepped backwards shaking their heads violently.

I nodded, "Good."

They picked up the broken man in a panic, "What the hell?! What was that?"

The average boy sighed, "I tried to warn you."

One shouted, "Not enough!!!"

I snickered as I turned around to see the teacher behind me. I jumped, "EEK! AH! Uhm. It wasn't what it looked like. He just... Fell into my fist?"

The teacher stared at me with a super serious look. I gulped.

He gave me a thumbs up, "Good job."

I nearly fell over, "Huh?!"

He patted me on the back, "You're definitely going to excel in this class."

"Uh... Thanks."

I walked back to the group of guys. Lucius had been so shocked by the sudden devastating punch that he turned to stone.

William could only shake his head, "Can't you behave for one second?"

Mathias was even more impressed. He spoke in a serious tone, "You were so cool..."

I ignored them and shook my hand painfully, "Ah! It stings! I think I broke a knuckle!!"

They stared blankly at me.
