Lin Qing blushed immediately at these embarrassing words.

She ducked her head to hide her embarrassment.

Then…

She bumped into him hard on his chest without seeing him turning around.

“Bang….” The crash sound was quite loud.

“Ouch!! My head…”

Lin Qing raised her head and looked up at Mu Li with a pair of big eyes filled with innocence and miserableness.

Mu Li looked down at the tiny girl in his arms. Her beautiful eyes looked straight into his, seemingly blaming the crash on him.

He spontaneously cuddled her with his hands. “It was you who bumped into my arms.”

“Well…” Lin Qing grumbled. But it was her whose nose hurt much.

Mu Li felt he was defeated by this silly little girl.

He tapped the tip of her red nose, “Does it hurt?”

“Yes.”

Lin Qing nodded tamely.

“Ho-ho.”

As a high-ranked officer, Mu Li had seen women of different styles, such as sexy, cute, or disguised innocent ones. It was the first time for him to know someone who was so simple and harmless.

“Stop laughing at me.”

Unconsciously, Lin Qing pouted to show her discontent.

Mu Li smiled a little and patted her on the head. “Be careful next time.”

Lin Qing felt ashamed with her head lowered again, “I’m sorry. I didn’t see you.”

Mu Li felt greatly depressed. He realized that Lin Qing didn’t care much about him even when he was standing in front of her.

Lin Qing was about to get out of his arms and move forward when Mu Li grabbed her arm all of a sudden and pulled her to his front.

“Ah!”

Lin Qing exclaimed.

Mu Li narrowed his eyes and lifted her chin with a slender finger.

Suddenly, something romantic emerged in the air.

Lin Qing had to hold her face up with her chin lifted. A lock of her hair swept over her eyes when falling from the forehead.

It was a little tickling.

Lin Qing stared at Mu Li and studied his expression, but only to find it was all in vain.

Mu Li gazed at her with penetrating sights, almost seeing her through.

His sights made Lin Qing uncomfortable.

Mu Li leaned close to her face.

They were so close that her dark pupils reflected the image of Mu Li.

The reflection pleased him.

“Well…is there anything on my face?”

Lin Qing blinked and whispered.

The romantic atmosphere was spoiled like bubble bursts.

Mu Li made no response.

Lin Qing got rid of his hand gently.

“However,” Lin Qing hesitated, as if thinking of something, “I feel really safe in your arms.”

She said wholeheartedly.

She either knew nothing about flirting or knew it too well. So right now, Mu Li decided he should have his guard against her although they only knew each other for days.

“Do you know what do lovers do, although you don’t have one before?”

After a moment’s silence, Mu Li slowly asked.

What do lovers do?

Lin Qing shook her head honestly, “I have no such experience. Why should I be supposed to know this?”

“Ho-ho.”

He was depressed again. Lin Qing was really weird.

“Arrange your things now. We have an appointment later.”

Mu Li pointed to her suitcase and issued a new command to her.

Then he turned around and walked away. However, Lin Qing followed him closely and pulled him at his sleeve.

“Hmm?”

Mu Li was frozen at once. He was aroused by such a simple movement of her.

“Do you mean we? You and I?”

Her voice was soft, holding up her small head, and her face was full of uncertainties.

Mu Li was frustrated but he managed to control himself. “Is there anyone else in this place?”

“Hmm?”

Then Lin Qing nodded, “I see.”

Mu Li didn’t speak and helped her carry the suitcase.

He sensed her unwillingness when he mentioned of the appointment just now. However, she didn’t reject directly or even argue with him.

She was very obedient.
