Chapter 816 - JL VS MINO

Roar! With his entire body blazing with his yang Qi, he charges towards the enemy, the monster responded with countless tentacles flying towards him, he use his movement skill and technique to maneuver his body and dodge all the incoming attacks.

The monster was furious, it fired a black beam that flew at incredible speed, Shadowslash use his special eyes to quickly predict all the trajectory of the beams, he moved at an erratic manner so that his opponent wouldn't lock on him.

Meanwhile, JL was having a tough fight against the minotaur, his strength is actually a tad weaker compared to it, not to mention, the log that it was carrying seems to be some kind of divine item.

Each strike he received would shake his body and even his incredibly tough carapace was cracking, his poison seems to be working much slower that he expected, he slams his pincer on the sand and once again, the quicksand appear below the minotaur.

The minotaur have already developed a counter for this move, it raises it's weapon once again, JL took this opportunity and stabs it's tail on the bull, this time, he use large amount of his poison to kill the minotaur.

Bam! The minotaur slams it's weapon on his head, he became disoriented, it grabs his tail and raised him before throwing him up, without the sand helping him, JL's strength reverted back to it's original state.

The minotaur let's out a loud cry and it's body expanded, it then jumps, JL awakened from his disoriented state, he use his Qi to float, his instinct then warned him about the impending danger, his body glows with bright green light and he release his poison to all over his body.

Bang! His armor was proven useless because the minotaur hit him with it's weapon, the weapon that is immune to the erosion of his poison, he was sent flying towards his group, his carapace cracked because of the force.

He slams his pincer to the ground once again and a sand tornado formed below the minotaur before becoming bigger and swallowing it, seeing that his opponent was distracted, he grabs two of the invaders and ate them.

Heaven Swallowing Technique immediately operated, fortunately their family was given such a divine technique to help them cultivate, he started devouring the weaker invasion, he grabs one after another and eating him.

His injuries is much more lethal than he expected though, even after eating more than a dozen, he is still far from recovering, he knew that the tornado wouldn't be able to kept his opponent at bay for too long.

Boom! The sand tornado was destroyed, the powerful blow even sent those that are on the area flying, JL was also affected because he was one of the closest, he dug underground and hides his aura, he created a mirage behind to bait his enemy.

Because the minotaur was in it's berserk state, it's intelligence have somewhat become irrational, it charges towards the mirage and raised its weapon before slamming it with full force, the powerful blow cause the entire sub world to shake.

Bang! JL grabs it's feet and with his control over the sand, he started pulling the minotaur on the ground, he repeatedly stabs his stinger into the minotaur's body, the blow earlier made his body hurting.

The minotaur was caught surprised by the attack, but it quickly recover, the rings on it's horns started glowing, the golden light shine down on it, the injuries that it had suffered started recovering at rapid pace, even the poison was being cleansed.

JL was shocked, he knew that if this continues, he would definitely lose, for the first time on his life, Shadowslash trusted him with such an important task, he doesn't want to fail his idol, with this undying will to win.

He seemed to have awakened a sleeping power residing within him, the entire area started shaking, at the same time, the sand on the area seems to started sucking up all moisture around it, the corpses started drying up into a skeleton husk.

Shadowslash who was battling with the strange monster noticed such horrifying aura coming from JL and was shocked, this aura doesn't seem to belong to a divine beast but a creature that is as powerful as a divine beast and has the same aura as natural disasters, a catastrophic beast.

But his momentary daze, nearly cause his opponent to capture him, fortunately he could move his body with ease, just like water, since he had turned into an elemental being, he was extremely close to the strange monster to further increase his damage.

Fortunately his opponent isn't that smart, if not, he would have been captured since earlier, the movement of the tentacles are based on instinct and is much more easier to dodge after learning it's habit.

He let one of the tentacles capture him, the monster pulled him into one of the mouths, after suffering his assault earlier, the only functioning mouth left was the largest one, it is situated on the center part of the monster's body.

Boom! He self destruct causing the entire area to shake, the sand turned into crystals because of the extreme heat and force, large part of the monster were sent flying back to the passageway, the parts that were sent flying around fierce beast world were already burning and wouldn't last long.

Besides, Toxic have already received the order to tell the scarabs to gather all the black goo, he had plans for it, he wanted to develop such monster, since it is an undead creature with such insatiable appetite, it would be perfect for Sans.

The only worrying thing is that this monster might be untamable, because his clone no longer are present, he couldn't see through the end, but he had confidence on Toxic and JL, the two are definitely one of the elite fighters of his empire.

Back to JL, now that the sand have become harmful to everyone, the soldiers or prisoners started running away from, fortunately for them, the sand would first absorb sweats, but if they are no longer able to absorb sweat, they'll absorb blood.

Since his opponent has a powerful weapon, he'll create one himself, the minotaur stabs JL with it's horn and with a bright golden blow, he broke his carapace but even with this, he hadn't let go of its leg.

It's weapon then starts to shine in golden light and it encompasses it's body, the minotaur then reappears with a golden suite of armor and two hammers, it started slamming the hammer into the broken back of its opponent.

JL felt his inside churning but he also realised that the blow have become much weaker, it seems that the giant block of wood could turn into an offensive weapon and a defensive suit but even with the weakened strength, the blows still have some effect on his fractured exoskeleton.

He let go and use his sand to escape, the minotaur use this opportunity to escape and fly to the sky, it actually had an earth attribute but because the entire area have turned into sands, it realised that it could no longer obtain any strength from the ground.

Since staying on the ground was no longer beneficial to it, fighting on the air is the only choice it have, the armor was increasing the burden of it's Qi, it's defence might have increased but also it's weight.
