32 They'sve been ..... Terror Struck

Draig waited on his throne for Goeki and Tina to give their report, he had long been contemplating what to do with the captive Guilders and he was starting to form a vague plan.

'Two options..... fight for freedom or... swear their allegiance' thought Draig having decided upon presenting the choice to the captives themselves.

"Lord Sylvie has brought you tribute" said Sylvie walking in with a bowl

"Sylvie, I don't see you that often anymore" stated Draig curiously

"Sylvie is training to help protect her Lord" said Sylvie eyes filled with determination

"Very well" responded Draig with a slight frown.

Draig accepted the bowl of blood and consumed it heartily, he returned the bowl to Sylvie and once again began contemplating until he was interrupted by the sounds of the doors being opened.

"Lord we have brought the prisoners they wait in the courtyard for your judgement" reported Goeki before Draig turned towards Tina expectantly.

"The hunters are depositing the wealth gained into the armory and treasury as they see fit" reported Tina expecting a pleased look until she caught sight of those eyes peering into her very soul.

"Who is supervising them to make sure we do not come up short due to some sticky hands" asked Draig icily.

He refused to let there be a complete trust for those who were not part of his inner circle, that was an easy way to be betrayed.

"L-Lord I will return immediately to supervise them and take stock of everything we have gained" responded Tina quickly before rushing to the location of the Hunters to take stock of everything.

"Come Goeki" stated Draig as he walked towards the courtyard.

Goeki followed obediently wondering what his Lord had planned for the captives, he was hoping that they could be spared and inducted but he knew in the end it was up his Lord.

It didn't take them long to reach the courtyard where the Guilders who had been acquired were all kneeling awaiting their fate, soldiers kept the area secure ensuring that none of them took the opportunity to be a hero. This was the sight that greeted Draig upon his arrival causing him to form a smile.

"I will keep this short as my time is precious.... you can either join me and be inducted into my ranks or you can become a gladiator and fight for your freedom" stated Draig causing the soldiers and Guilders alike to be shocked.

"If you wish to join then come and kneel before me, to fight for your freedom stay where you are" commanded Draig.

A majority of the Guilders came to kneel before Draig leaving forty of them who would rather fight for their freedom.

"Very well your choice has been made, Goeki. Lead these recruits to the training field, leave these gladiators here." ordered Draig as imposingly as possible, as of late he had been feeling that his followers were not fully understanding of the fact his words were law so he would use these gladiators as a example.

Turning around and returning to his throne he had a soldier at the side go and fetch Osmond, he would oversee the advertisement and construction of the Coliseum. He would also need Grog and his hunters to do something to make these types of things more interesting, as Draig thought about the plans he had made he could almost feel his influence growing as these plans were set in motion.

"Sylvie" called Draig to which the girl quickly came running

"Go and see what is keeping Tina so long and while you at it bring Grog before me." Stated Draig waiting for Osmond to arrive which wasn't long as the Strategist arrived shortly after out of breath.

"My Lord I arrived as quickly as possible" explained Osmond panting

Seeing this left Draig feeling pleased, thinking more of his followers should show this kind effort to carry out his orders.

"Be at ease, I have something new for you to work on at the moment so put the other thing I have tasked you with on hold for the moment." smiled Draig showing an amicable expression

"What is Lord" asked Osmond standing to face his leader

"I need you to oversee the construction of a coliseum... It needs to be large enough to seat many people and house many Gladiators as well monsters, can you accomplish this." asked Draig staring deep into the eyes of the strategist.

"My Lord anything you order I will find a way to accomplish." answered Osmond with a smile

"Excellent response have the soldiers guarding our new resources allow you entry and pick out something you like." stated Draig clearly pleased with the response.

Osmond bowed once again before setting off to collect his reward and complete his given task, allowing entry for Grog.

"Ahh Grog, it has been some time since we have last met" stated Draig looking at the barbarian closely.

"Yes my Lord, not much time as the hunters are constantly out bringing back materials for the house. Why have you summoned me my Lord." asked Grog getting straight to the point.

"I require you to change your operation, instead of killing the monsters and bringing back materials, I instead need you to bring them in alive. Are you capable of this task?" asked Draig coolly

"Of course my Lord" said Grog feeling a type of pressure building.

"Then be sure to carry it out perfectly." commanded Draig before shooing him away.

Draig had a suspicious feeling about the barbarian as of late but he would wait for now as he still had his uses, but the first sign of something amiss he would cut him down and drain his blood.

"Lord, Sylvie has brought Tina." called Sylvie before leaving to a different part of the building.

"Lord, I have brought back a complete list of everything that we have taken from the Warring Heavens Guild and compared it to the list I had made before bring them over and have found nothing missing." reported Tina quickly

"Excellent remove all the skillbooks and bring them to me, along with the weapons and armor. I will hold those here." stated Draig to which Tina nodded before rushing back out.

'I need more trusted people in my inner circle' thought Draig as he closed his eyes sitting atop his throne.
